Go on the Christmas Walk! They're open every day, weather permitting. Take in the beautiful lights, tractor ride, campfires, s'mores, and adult beverages (hot cocoa) for the kids. Jerry Smith's is a staple of our community so be sure to come support them in their cozy shop also!!!

Easily the best pumpkin patch we've ever been to. So much to do and the animals were clearly happy and well taken care of. I felt like everything was super affordable too. We will definitely be making this our new go-to farm!

False positive review's back to back from staff.

NOT SERVICE ANIMAL FRIENDLY! Unprofessional staff. We were harassed by several employee's about our service animal. Who was focusing on her task, making sure her handler was safe, however, staff did not "believe" our dog was an actual service dog. The workers tried to isolate us away from the animal based activities so our visit was cut very short after each encounter, her handler had an episode. She is alright now, but shame on the staff and owners of this place. Shortly after leaving the Google review, three or four FALSE positive reviews were posted by workers/friends/family of the people there. However, Tod, bless him. A security member there, called and apologized for his behavior and realized he may have went too far and overreacted. He went on to confirm that NO OTHER SERVICE ANIMALS HAVE BEEN ON THE PREMISES!! So those false 5 star reviews that were posted back to back of each other, were in fact posted by people within the facility or their peers. We did not receive any form of apology from other workers who were involved. They are NOT disability friendly, NOT service animal friendly whatsoever, despite their site claiming they are. Shame on the workers, besides Tod, shame on the owners for trying to sweep it under the rug. Trying to keep their reviews up there for a better flow of customers. Pathetic. I truly hope each of them have the day they deserve.

My husband and I went here for the first time and we actually had a lot of fun! They had a lot of beautiful pumpkins; the gourds were cute. All the little section for decorations they had of different movies was awesome. They even had the animals to feed. Definitely a lot of places for kids to explore with the bouncy houses, playground, the tire obstacles and basketball games. The corn maze was simplistic but super fun and so was the hay ride. Definitely recommend this place for anyone with kiddos or just a simple date night like my husband & I did! Will definitely be coming back!

The staff of Jerry Smith's pumpkin farm is amazing! They now are so much more than a pumpkin farm our family visits often for produce, special events like babies on the farm, corn fest, and winter lights! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the prices are very reasonable! If you are looking for a great family owned local small business this is where it's at!

I am reviewing Jerry Smith for the month of October and there pumpkin patch. They do an amazing job of creating scenes for the kids based off of popular kids characters. What does this have to do with pumpkins? Well each character has a pumpkin for a head!!! Cool!!! There are also animals you can feed. 50 cent gets you a handful of food, then you drop the food into a PVC pipe and it goes past a double fence to the mouths of the goats. Hey wait a minute here...it seems like with all of these precautions we've had an incident (allegedly)! Among the goats you will see chickens, ducks, lammas and a pig...all living in harmony!!! There are also hay rides, a corn maze, a new pumpkin pillow, an old town, a theater, a country store, a playground and snacks. Yes there is a lot to do. My only gripe is the price of the pumpkins. It is almost 20 bucks for a large pumpkin. They are really over priced. There is no middle man here...why so high? I used my gas to drive here to pick it up and you grew it in the field next door. I really do not understand. It feels like they might be taking advantage of me. I know they are not hurting because I always see big trucks backing into there dock and picking up pallets of pumpkins. I'm sure the retailer isn't paying those prices. It is a great tradition to visit every year. If you have never been here, then make sure you swing by at least once in your lifetime. The kids will enjoy it for sure.

They have a wide variety of things to do here. Although the haunted maze is short, it scared my friends and I and we're 17. The donuts and apple cider is delicious. It's a really fun place to take your friends and family.

While it's not super overpriced like Apple Holler--or near the overwhelming tourist to local family ratio--Smith Jerry's is still a little more on the costly end than other local pumpkin farms. Your best bet is to drive the cornfield side streets of Kenosha County and spot out one of the several tractors on the side of the road. There they will be filled with not only bright pumpkins but fresh daily produce from their small plantations. Often they have a little box where its honest citizens leave how much they owe. Super cute! On the other hand, Smith Jerry is especially great for the kids and family. They have a plenty of entertainment including: a little theatre with magic shows, petting zoo with alpacas, llamas, goats, heifers and more, mini haunted house, camel/pony rides, kiddy hay stack maze and even various themed scarecrows/costumes with painted pumpkin heads created by the owner's wife herself (each taking roughly 2 hours to paint). Of course, I caved in and had to buy more than just my Halloween pumpkins. This included their $1.25 frosted cookies, a sweet potato squash (no it does not taste anything like a sweet potato but still yummy like a spaghetti squash) and several red apples. Lastly, I quickly noticed another odd must-buy--a Cinderella Pumpkin. They look like an average round pumpkin yet one that had its top end smoosh down (not possessing a rotten look though) and a bright orange-red color makeover. STAND OUT this Halloween/Fall!

This used to be the place to go for pumpkins for our family!! Unfortunately, we will not be returning after this year. They're making you pay for admission and the pumpkin prices have gone up quite ridiculously. You have to buy a wristband to go see the animals, jump on the big balloon and the corn maze. Monday-Thursday is $5 per wristband and $10 per person on weekends!! Pumpkins are "basketball size"-$6, "double the size"-$12 and bigger than that is $30+. Next year we'll be going to Swan's pumpkin farm. Everything there is free, even the petting zoo.

CITY SLICKER I have…read moredriven by here many times but i have never stopped. Recently I needed zucchini. We were having company over and I wanted to add grilled zucchini to the menu. When I stopped in I was amazed at the large selection of items they had. They also had a bunch of great looking zucchini. The normal price for them was $1.29 a pound but they were on special for 75 cents a pound. I grabbed 3 nice size ones and the total price was $1.83. Now that was a deal. I should have grabbed more. I was also able to meet the owner Chris. She was very friendly and helpful. She actually stopped in to drop off more zucchini. She was also there to see how the store was doing. We also started talking about cooking food and using fresh veggies. As she was talking to me she was looking through the peppers. She picked up two giant green peppers that were going bad and asked me if I could do something with them. I told her Yeah and she gave them to me. In fact, I took them home and roasted them on the fire pit. I also served them to our guests later that day and they loved them. In fact, the guests used them on there brats. I know roasted peppers are not a traditional topping but I must admit they tasted fantastic on the brats. Thanks Chris for giving me these and adding to our already delicious menu. This store is seasonal. I am not sure when they close down but I'm sure when it starts to get cold. I also learned that Chris is the daughter of the famous Jerry Smith who has the farm North of this location. So all of there fresh seasonal veggies come from there. Jerry Smith's farm has a great pumpkin patch for the kids to visit in October. If you haven't been there then I recommend you load up the Family and make a trip there. They also have a Corn Festival coming up in August too. Those events take place at the Jerry Smith Farm and not here. I also have a Yelp Review posted for that location. Okay back to Green Acres. The selection was huge. They had a variety of potatoes and onions, Roma tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, 4 foot tall Dill, corn, hot peppers, green peppers, pickles, watermelon and zucchini. Everything looked amazing. In addition to the fresh vegetables this location also carried flats of flowers too. I really wanted the palm tree for $330.00 It looks so cool plus I would always feel like I'm on vacation if I owned it. So if you are driving down the road and you see a little shack at the side of the road it's Green Acres. It is the place to be. It's like farm living which is the life for me. Yeah I may get allergic from the smell of hay. I do love the country but I also love my big city too. There are some song lyrics mixed in there above...enjoy!!! See Green Acres makes me want to break out in song. I'm happy that people seem to be getting healthier. Places like this are helping us move in the right direction. We need to learn how to make food again and not out of a box but from scratch. It is not only rewarding to do this but it tastes amazing. So I appreciate Green Acres and I can not wait to stop back.

Boy boi did it surprise me. Crowds: they limit tickets into their farm meaning it doesn't feel like you stepped into Disney land with insane crowds. Busy enough to feel exciting but not where you're bumping into people left and right. Cornmaze: the HIGHLIGHT of our visit. This isn't any ordinary corn maze. They have an entire scavenger hunt that connects to their app. So you have to find 14 question and scan the QR code to answer. If you find all 14 (it's a hunt) and get all the questions right you're entered into a raffle. We had SO much and found all 14. It was such a fun bonding experience for our family. Pumpkins, mums, and more: the pumpkins and mums felt very reasonably priced. And the mums were HUGE and healthy compared to getting them at the big stores. We also enjoyed some hot cocoa, hot apple cider and kettle corn. All delicious. Animals: I'm an animal activist and reduce to visit places where animals are forced to provide entertainment. This place had a petting zoo but didn't allow kids inside and there was no actual animals rides. Thank you Kroll's. We ended our trip with the hay ride which was also a treat and perfect way to relax before leaving. So stop what you're doing and pay them a visit! The cutest pumpkin patch
