Damn, I think my feet are still on fire from dancing for what felt like days at Bar Bevy this weekend. What a freaking amazing spot. My friends and I ended up here by accident after a SOBEWFF event at jungle plaza. So happy for this turn of events. What started as a night cap at the bar downstairs at Swan ended up as a late night dance sesh at Bar Bevy. What is a group of folks to do when you hear old school hip hop blasting? Consider us moths with these tunes as our flame. The space itself is swanky, with what looks like a few areas to enjoy table service. We opted for dancing by the bar. I didn't order any fancy drinks, but enjoyed my tequila sodas. I would totally recommend Bar Bevy for dancing in the design district for a night well spent. While it's gorgeous inside, it definitely gives me more loungey than over the top club level vibes (aka you don't need to go above and beyond to dress up for this spot other than being your fabulous miami self). read more

I had plans with some girlfriends to do happy hour here on a Friday. I wanted to see a happy hour menu, but I couldn't find one. Website? No. Yelp? No. Insta? Nope. So I called the restaurant and a young girl named Caro answered the phone. I asked her about the happy hour menu and she said it was until 8. I asked her if a manager or anyone can email me a menu and she said no. I asked what was on it, and she said "oh, lots of different things." I said "Ok, can you be specific? Can you tell me one or two items on the menu and their prices? She said "ugh oh my god, hold on a second...." and put me on hold. She never came back on the line. I waited 20 minutes and even tried calling back and she never picked up again! Oh but when my friend called from a different number, she was all of a sudden able to pick up the phone. ha Want to hear the most frustrating part? When I finally got to the place and see the menu... all the items are $8! So, she was rude, unhelpful, and clueless to top it off! I told a manager as soon as we walked in and he was nice enough to get us a round on the house. However, you would think he would tell the staff to make sure we had a good time since we started off on a bad note. Nope, the rest of the night consisted of wondering where the waitress was and if we would be able to find her and order before happy hour was over. I even walked up to the bar to order a drink because she was gone for so long. We had to ask a busboy to call her in order to get our bill. Whenever she did show up, she never apologized or said anything about why she wasn't around. Oh, I have to mention the place was empty. If there was 10 of us in there that was too much. Basically this place has potential, its in a nice area and the decor is to die for. But service is a joke and I would be embarrassed to bring anyone here. read more

I Paid $135 cover charge to get kicked out an hour later for absolutley no reason. Then the manager got in our face and said my friend was "too drunk". My friend who was married minding his own business dancing with his wife... Why would he take the time to "talk to us outside" instead of just telling someone who's actually "too drunk" to leave. Because they felt like the need to justify stealing $135 from us and refused to refund. It's sad that the real reason we got kicked out was due to the line at the door waiting to get in. They kicked us out for business profits after seeing us spend $285+ Drinks are $25 each, the 3 of us had 2 each. Do not spend your money, or waste your time here. read more

After having dinner near by, we were told that the place to be for a night cap and some dancing would be Bar bevy. We arrived a little before they opened, so we enjoyed some drinks downstairs at swan. After 11 PM, we made our way up to Bar bevy. Obviously, it was pretty empty at that time but they were playing great music. We decided to get a bottle and enjoy the night way. It was fun and a great way to wrap up the night! Oh bar bevy, I was so excited to spend a girls night with you! But you could not have been more disappointing... The bad service at Bar Bevy began even before we got there. We called earlier that day to ask about the happy hour menu what it included and what the price range was, we did this because there was no happy hour menu to be found on their website. The person who picked up the phone, named Caro, was so exasperated with the call that she literally said "oh my God!!, when we asked and proceeded to place us on hold and never come back. We called again and of course no one picked up the phone from that point on. We had to call from another number in order to get someone to answer. Still, we decided to give the place a shot. Upon arrival we spoke to the manager about our prior experience and were given a round of drinks on the house. Much appreciated and we thought things would start to look up. We could not have been more wrong! Lets just say that the service was non existent, once we placed our first order our waitress disappeared. ANY time we wanted service from that point forward either we had to wave her down or ask a busboy to get her for us, mind you, she was at the bar in front of us the entire time. We ordered an app that never came and when we called her to tell her not to bring it anymore all she said was, OK. At one point we had to get up and go to the bar to place a drink order because she not once came to check on us and we got tired of having to call her over. To get the bill I had to walk up to her and ask her for it or we would have never left. A new group of ppl came and sat across from us and after waiting for about 20 min. of no service, we also watched as they decided to go up to the bar and place a drink order for themselves. The service here is not bad, they would first have to provide service in order for it to be bad ... its non existent. read more

Bar Bevy (along with the companion restaurant Swan) is the quintessential place to see and be seen. It's the kind of place where you could spot a celebrity at any time, and beautiful and well-heeled people at all times. It's also a well-decorated and opulent setting, with an Arabian theme that extends all the way to having a desert pavilion setup. Somehow, it felt to me like it ends up less than the sum of its parts. There are a lot of bars with a lot of heart and soul in Miami (Lagniappe, Ball & Chain, Gramp's, J Wakefield, etc.). I'm not sure Bevy is up at that level, although it is new and may yet develop a vibe that's more memorable than its current impress-the-jet-set aura. Happy hour lasts until 8 and, somewhat unusually for Miami, applies on Saturday as well. That's probably the best time to check it out and see if you enjoy the atmosphere. read more

Very good place for happy hour! We came to visit on a Thursday and the environment was laid back and chill. The bar is upstairs in a cozy, dim lit room. Very comfortable vibe, if you get there early enough you can snag a place to sit. We came as a group of 6 and were able to find plenty of seating. Definitely recommend if you're in the area for a drink or two. They even have some themed beverages in cool cups. Try the strawberry moon, it's super cute. read more

This is upstairs fom Swan! Great vibe! Beautifully decorated!! The decor is very Chic Arabian with a laid back feel. It looks over the Patio of The Swan which is like a beautiful forest with an elegant touch. There are many VIP rooms to Reserve. They also have had many events in the past month since they opened their doors. It is a nice place to spend time with your friends, family or significant other. They have a DJ and the music was on point to the evening. It wasn't too loud so you can have dinner or casual conversations. Really enjoyed it! Will return. See you there! read more

Fun spot to get pleasurable drinks! Regardless of the buzzy atmosphere everything was pleasant. The servers and bartenders were able to keep up and be attentive. This is the bar upstairs from the new restaurant Swan. Like the restaurant, the ambiance is great and very aesthetically pleasing... however the service is horrendous. The bar was pretty full with only 3 bartenders. They have some table service girls walking around that you can also order from - probably because they know it's impossible to stand at the bar for so long without feeling ignored/ frustrated but the issue is these girls bring the orders back to the same 3 bartenders. It took up to 30 minutes for us to get our champagne glasses. They also have a pretty hefty service charge so it doesn't incentivize the staff to engage with the guest. The most frustrating thing has to be that I asked the bartender for a "spicy tequila drink" and he goes oh i just created a delicious one yesterday i'll make for you! ... assuming i hadn't just had dinner downstairs ... he made me the exact same drink i had just ordered off the MENU! Lying doesn't sit well with me. This is a beautiful bar in an area that really needs new bars/restaurants so i hope they work out the kinks! Wont be coming back or recommending this place until I see some good reviews. read more

I've been here a few times as a local resident and I've been pretty satisfied overall but this time around wasn't the case. I sat at a table with with a friend and we ordered a few rounds of drinks. During this time even tough we were supposed to have table service we had to get up a few times to complain about the drink, order another round and then ask for the check. To our surprise we were automatically charged a very generous gratuity that wasn't deserved. I then voiced my concerns to the manager. To my surprise it almost seemed like the manager didn't care for our input. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are looking for poor service and very expensive drinks and non local crowd. read more

Lana and Trent were the most accommodating people we have ever been served/taken care by. Myself and my friend in my party had worked in the service industry for 13+ years and we can truly say that these two have been the most amazing people that have ever taken care of us and we are blown away. They went above and beyond to. We will 100% be coming back because of these two and be requesting them when we come back to Miami. If we could give 20 stars we could. I ordered two drinks, which I am used to Miami prices but I was not given an itemized reciept and needless to say, the prices were exorbitant for what was ordered. Buyer beware. I had a kind cocktail waitress take amazing care of me and a group of friends. She started us off with some "Bevy Shots". Afterwards we ordered a few cocktails and drinks with her. She recommended a few good ones. I told her I liked gin, but wasn't a big cocktail guy, so she recommended a gin and tonic with muttled cucumber and chili pepper.... magnificent. Very cool unique room, the decor is amazing. There's also an outdoor area for smoking or people watching over SWAN. Great dj and chilled vibe. Not too intense like other bars on Miami Beach. BarBevy is right upstairs of Swan, so a perfect spot to hangout for another drink or two after a delicious dinner at the downstairs restaurant. The ambiance at BarBevy is very cosy and welcoming. There are couches, chairs, small tables and a Bar, occasionally there is a DJ. The overall vibe feels very relaxing as if you are sitting in your living room and chatting with friends or colleagues. BarBevy is situated in the middle of Miami's beautiful Design District, very central. I loved hanging out there with friends, the staff is super nice and the drinks are delicious! Definitely a spot I would recommend trying out! And for bigger parties, there is a bigger couch area, decorated in Arabian style. This is the upstairs at Swan. Modern Moroccan theme with plenty of seating to talk to your friends. We went here to watch Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals. They had a massive projector screening the game as well as amazing specials on drinks and small plates. Manager was so friendly and even brought out samples for us to try! Live DJ made the environment welcoming for us to stay even after the game ended. Between the Groot Sliders and speciality cocktails my friends and I will end up here again! read more

Literally, perfect! Beautiful space, packed with beautiful people. With a chic vibe, they have created a 'being out' experience in a neighborhood that didn't have that after dinner drink spot yet. Had the BEST time! Our server Lauren was great- so sweet, so attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly yet professional. We enjoyed drinks and food. The manager Gianmaria was wonderful! Steven also stopped by and was so kind! They recommended dishes and made sure our stay was nothing less than perfect. Service like theirs is what makes a vacation exceptionally special. Because of the service received tonight me and my friends will be back. Good food is easy to find, but great service is rare. Bar bevy/swan has it!!!
