The fact that all the music is played on vinyl gave the whole night such a cool throwback feel and made the experience feel really unique. The music selection was on point all night long, and the aesthetic of the space was everything intimate, stylish, and perfect for vibing with friends. Scammers, watch your bill/receipt, they don't know how to do basic math. They took money/deposit up front for the reservation, then added tip to the deposit on top of the service charge on the drinks (essentially tipping twice), then failed to deduct the correct deposit from my final bill. My card was also charged, then refunded for some weird amounts!? Clearly scammers or incompetence. Watch out!! read more

This is a cute little bar/lounge tucked away in the middle of Wynwood. Usually businesses are street facing, but Dante's HiFi is in between other buildings. The vibe in here is unique in comparison to other lounges in the area. There is no dress code which is nice, there is 1 bar along the back wall which double up as the DJ booth and there are tables which require a reservation. The host also mentioned that even the bar seating also requires a reservation, so I would definitely look into that if you plan on coming here. The drinks were also pretty good! You've got to make a reservation if you're a party bigger than 2 people in order to get a nice section to sit down. It's $50 a person to make a reservation for 4 people, the fee goes towards your drink consumption. The vibes were groovy, I love that the Dj plays vinyl records only. The music was good to still have a conversation with friends and enjoy some cocktails. The cocktails were good, they actually came out pretty fast once we ordered. The only thing that took a while was for someone to actually come and take our order. Our server wasn't informed that we had arrived so it took a little bit to get serviced. We were a little lost as there is no sign outside (should've taken a photo), it's a light brown wall with two people outside to checkin and security in the middle of a shopping center area. We reserved a table upon others mentioning it and it worked out great. I see why it's necessary as it's a smaller venue with limited seating and space. Reservations are $25/pp but it's more like a deposit that you get toward your bill for any drinks you purchase. Our server was great and tentative throughout our experience. Where this took a star off for me was locating the bathroom. You have to go outside, up the stairs to the right, down the hall, turn right and there's a man sitting on a stool that works for them offering to give the code to outdoor bathrooms. Just the outdoor with lock code creeped me out alone and I decided our hotel is close enough I'd just hold it. I was honestly terrified of how bad that bathroom might be. So, just beware, if you're a woman, don't go alone because it is outside and I'm not sure what you're in store for when you go inside. Overall it's a very cute venue, great vibes and drinks, that's just my one "ick". read more

My husband went with an old fashioned and really enjoyed it as well. The ambiance was super chill, with a DJ spinning vinyl right in the middle of the bar. We didn't have a reservation since we found this place on a whim, but we were lucky to grab seats at the bar. (FYI: tables and booths typically require a reservation with a $25/person deposit, which gets credited toward your tab.) I'm glad my friend and I made a reservation because there were lots of people standing and vibing to the music without space to sit. My friend and I were in a corner on the sofa vibing and dancing without the pressure of being in the middle of the action. We were also able to move to the front and watch the DJ work the mixing boards and also soak in the beautiful wall of vinyls posing as a backdrop for the bar. The music was a mix of oldies like Stevie Wonder and ambient instrumental house music. It was a chill and wholesome vibe. The service was friendly and our waitress checked in frequently to see if we wanted more drinks throughout the night. We ordered a total of three drinks: Freddie Freeloader, Strange Fruit, and Electric Feel. I liked the Freddie Freeloader and Strange Fruit over the Electric Feel (I've had better Mezcal and Prickly Pear mixes). For the price, vibe, and service, Dante's is a gem in Miami's saturated bar scene. If you're gonna spend almost $20 dollars on a cocktail, it better be worth it. It's a small place with a very cool bar and DJ set up at the middle of the bar playing vinyls. I had the Freddie Freeloader which is a gin based drink that is sweet and very peach forward.
