In fact, there are 5 different tiers of contact pricing, so that helped me figure out what would fit me best. In addition, they let me try a certain type of contacts for 4 days and come back in to determine if it was a good fit and feel for me. That little gesture really helped solidify my confidence and eased the pain of the cost. Dr. Lindower was very kind and efficient without making me feel rushed. The other two people working here who helped during my appointment - I forget their names! - were also very nice. You could tell they do the same sequence with most of their patients, but I felt cared for and not just another paying customer. They answered my questions along the way and were very descriptive about what a certain test or a certain liquid was for. It was a little challenging getting a first-time appointment, but there was a lot more flexibility for the follow-up appointment. Definitely call with a bunch of time leeway in mind. I'd definitely recommend TotalVision.

The only time I felt the doctor was giving an in-depth look at what was going on with my eyes. They offer you two additional exams that insurance does not pay for, but they are not expensive and worth it for the amount of detail analysis/images they are able to get on your eyes. I hate shopping and shopping for glasses is not remotely on my list of "favorite things" to do; however, she was very helpful and narrowed the type of styles I liked so I could pick what worked best for me. Just got my glasses today - in only about a week, and just in time for a long trip. Thank you.

Im at day 3 and seeing better than ever. I asked many questions and they were all answered without any rush. I love how Dr. Kim was able to tell me about her personal experience with Lasik, it's always nice to get questions answered by someone who has had it. Dr. Shriver on surgery day was so calm and quick, definitely helped with anxiety. Went to see Karen at The eyeglass Place in Newington. I needed to update the Rx on my shooting…read moreglasses. Although I had originally purchased them online a few years ago, I decided that I wanted to work with someone local, especially an optician who was familiar with shooters. Karen was GREAT. She took the time to dial in the Rx for both pistol shooting and for skeet/trap shooting. I was even able to bring in my pistol to fine-tune the distance (emptied and safety-checked, of course!) We created interchangeable lenses for the two different disciplines. (I have interchangeable lenses for my dominant right eye: one optimized for pistol shooting, focusing on the front sight, and another optimized for distance while shooting clays. The left eye is optimized for distance in both cases.) And I also got separate lens sets for low/flat light and for bright light conditions. Even better, she was able to use my existing frames (Ranger Edge, https://www.reranger.com/products/edge?variant=32703827607691). I used them for the first time a few nights ago at a pistol class. What a HUGE difference! I actually won the shooting competition that night! I HIGHLY recommend Karen and The Eyeglass Place in Newington, not only for your general eyeglasses but especially if you're a shooter and you want to work with someone who "gets it!"
