The record keeping of this clothing resale store is prehistoric and pretechnologic. Basically, there is no record keeping, and no receipts, leading to utter chaos. They lost an item I had brought in to consign, and after I had checked the shop three weeks in a row to search their inventory to try and locate the item in their store, the response from them was: we don't have time to look for your item - you must do it yourself. There was never any acceptance on their part of the fact that my item was lost by them, nor any apology. Their concession to this fiasco was to offer me a credit for what I would have received if they had actually sold the item, which they did not do. Not recommended for consigners!

We walked into Thomas Michaels designers and had the pleasure of working with Ian. He was so helpful and asked if he would like him to check the ring and clean and would be happy to size it. Ian was delightful to work with and very knowledgeable. We will plan to come back to Camden and I certainly hope that my next jewelry purchase will be at Thomas Michaels designers.

The prices were more reasonable than some of the other spots but definitely still a little high for the tourists to buy. I did very much appreciate some of the shirts especially and even one of the hats that said "More Trees Less Bullshit". Was worth coming into browse and you may get some gifts to remember your trip to Maine. Staff/possible owner was friendly despite having to deal with some unsupervised kids who tried getting into some display hammocks that couldn't withstand their weight and knocked them down.
