Delicioso corn tortillas with beans and melted cheese. No meat for me but you can add meat.

Amazing international food court. Boiling hot stalls outside but also an air-conditioned building with restrooms, toilet paper, sinks, more shopping, and more eating. I find I cannot stand the heat these days so it is nice to go inside and drink some tamarind juice or coconut water. The flea market costs $3 for parking and there are no other fees.

Came to get my tints done . I walked around it's big and a lot to look at and think about buying . I bought two little bamboo plants one for me and one for my sister for her birthday . It was a good price and very pretty . You can find good deals just have to look and kind of make deals with the owners of the shops there. Parking is free

I have not been here in a while. I parked by the main entrance. The parking was $4 cash. I found trying to maneuver around the lot, trying to find a parking space challenging. The area is not well organized. People stop and drive wherever they want. It was a little scary how aggressive you have to drive around here. The Swap Shop is divided into a few areas. I suggest to always do some negotiating. The prices are not low here anymore. The outdoor area. It's an area where people have set up tables next to their cars. They sell tools, used stuff, and shoes. The kinda of stuff you find at a garage sale. You can also find window tinting spots. The air-conditioning area has jewelry, paintings, clothing, cars, wigs, clothing, and a food court. It is a nice area. It has two floors. It has a nice display of collector's cars. It is something to check out. The next area covered long hall areas. There is no air-conditioning here. These areas have mostly clothing. I did also see some perfumes, plants, and shoes. This place has a big fresh market. They have a good display of exotic fruits. I thought the price here were a little high. I got a coconut water with some coconut for $8 ouch. I stopped at the outdoor restaurant and got overpriced, small, cold, dry tacos lol. I did not like the food or service. It was slow.

There were a good number of tables and stands that each offer hand-crafted items. I got an awesome candle from yfsty candles and they were very nice and helpful in allowing me to smell all the scents before I finally picked one. The vibes here were fun and cool and it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I can't wait to check out Flamingo Flea's at their next stop.

With a big goal of shopping local this holiday season, I stopped by their market on the Sunday after Black Friday to support shopping small businesses. I always love the vendors they have and got a good amount of holiday shopping done. Some of my favorite vendors this time around were Hailey Pancakes, Gypset Co, and the Slip-not headband company. If you get the chance to get Hailey's macarons, do it! She had amazing flavors like coquito (so gooooood) and strawberry cheesecake. They were true to flavor and not overly sweet. Gypset Co has beautiful dainty & minimal jewelry for you best gal friends. I am OBSESSED with Slip-not's headbands. The material is so soft and she has a variety of colors and patterns. There were so many vendors to show love to and buy from! I definitely recommend checking the Flamingo Flea at their next event, wherever that may be. What a great way to support local and get unique gifts this holiday season!

It reminds me of someone's cluttered basement or garage. It smells like it too. Items are stacked floor to ceiling in the claustrophobic rooms which are more like closets and in the narrow hallway that runs the length of the store. I saw collectibles, bikes, kids toys and games, dishes, small household appliances, books, and a lot more. Unfortunately nothing had a price on it and I wasn't interested in anything enough to ask. The first Yelp review for this place is in 2014! I can't wrap my mind around that they have been in business for mor than 10 years. The only other shopper in there felt as I did. We took a deep breathe of fresh air as soon as we hit the sidewalk. The aisles are difficult to navigate and only suitable for the able bodied and child free. I can only recommend this store for the most die hard and adventurous of thrifters.

Limited parking is on the street right in front of the store. Parking appears to be free -- no meters there. Inside there's a ton of stuff, but it's actually kind of organized by categories or types of items. It took a bit to realize that though. There's one main room with a few alcoves. In one alcove, there is mainly clothes; in another alcove there's mainly cooking/dining stuff including a kitchen sink (working), etc. It's well lit and the aisles are narrow but fairly navigable. Basically there a little bit of everything you might be looking for in this type of store. Since there is so much inventory, you might need to ask for assistance -- who knows they probably have it, if you can find it. This isn't the place to come for used/vintage clothing, per se. But more if you're looking for tools, or bric a brac, or Knick knacks... Happy hunting!

I normally don't write long reviews, but I feel compelled to share my full experience with…read moreStephanie Salcedo (who goes by "Stef Sal"), an event organizer in South Florida who runs shows, festivals, fairs, and farmers' markets in Broward and Miami. My goal here is to provide a detailed account so that other vendors can make an informed decision before working with her. When I first met Stephanie, her business name was OG Gems Market. Since then, she has rebranded multiple times, changing names, logos, and social media accounts at least four times. I have personally seen her switch from OG Gems Market to OG Gem Collective to Laud Vibes and other iterations. The constant rebranding makes it very difficult to follow or track her, and now, looking back, I see it as a red flag. I participated in one of her very first markets in April. The event itself was poorly organized and had almost no customers, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt since I thought it was her first attempt. She seemed nice, and I wanted to support a new organizer. I paid her booth fees again for future markets: $40 and $35 on May 28th for two additional events. Here's what happened: June 1 Farmer's Market: This was supposed to be the second event. It was canceled/rescheduled and ultimately never happened. June 6 Night Market: I did attend this one, but it was not as advertised. I paid for a $35, 10x10 space for a tent, but was instead placed in a $25-sized spot, only big enough for a 6-foot table. She admitted the mistake and promised to credit me $10 when she got repaid by the venue. That refund never came. She later offered me a discount for a future market instead, but that never materialized either. The $40 market I had paid for was rescheduled several times due to rain. Originally June 1, then June 8, then July 11, then pushed back again and again. It was rescheduled three times and never took place. The contract said no refunds, rainchecks only, which I was fine with; I just wanted another market date. But the rainchecks turned into a nightmare. Every time she offered me a replacement date, it was a last-minute notice (2-4 days before), and I had already made family or work commitments (my mother's birthday, out-of-town travel, a baby shower). I explained I needed advance notice and even applied directly through her website for dates I was available. Each time, she told me I couldn't vend because either the venue wouldn't allow food products like jams or she didn't have space. By July, after multiple failed attempts, she offered me 3 free future dates as compensation. That sounded like a fair solution, but then those markets also didn't happen. For example, the July 11 market was postponed due to storms and her not being present. In August, she said she wasn't hosting events because she was spending time with family. When I asked about August 16, it turned out to be another venue where I wasn't allowed. I tried contacting her multiple times in August and early September. I sent three unanswered emails before she finally responded mid-September, saying she could no longer honor the raincheck deal. Her reason? She said she had taken on too much debt on her personal credit cards, used vendor money to pay for ads, and now had no funds left. She claimed she was planning to close the business after finishing her existing commitments. She told me she could not refund me because she didn't have the money, and she couldn't provide future dates because she wasn't hosting more events. This is where I draw the line. I paid for a service. The service was not provided. I gave her months (nearly 5 months) to make it right. I even agreed to multiple alternative solutions. Each one fell apart because of her lack of organization, failure to communicate, or inability to follow through. I've since spoken to several other vendors, and many have reported similar negative experiences, including being owed money. The pattern is clear: poor organization, constant rebranding, money taken with no service delivered, and then excuses. What still troubles me is that while she told me she was closing her business, her website is still active and still advertising multiple upcoming events. That's misleading to both vendors and customers. I understand that starting a business is hard and that weather and venues can cause setbacks. But it's not acceptable to keep vendors' money without providing the service they paid for. If the venues keep her deposits, that's between her and the venues. She cannot pass that loss on to small vendors like me. In the end, Stef owes me money for events that never happened. She has not honored her promises, and she refuses to refund me. I've had to escalate the issue with my credit card company because she will not do the right thing. My advice: steer clear. As nice as she may appear, she is not reliable, professional, nor honorable in business dealings.
