I have had only one experience with the Swardstrom group, and I'm still waiting for a resolution from them. Oddly you'd think not much can go wrong with a house showing but the issue at hand was so serious I simply cannot let go of the failure of this organization to own up and handle. Not only was this serious, there is still zero accountability even after admitted fault and wrongdoing by Rachel. I truly hope that the firm and Rachel will find a solution to their errors or judgement and fix the situation once and for all. Oddly enough I actually decided for a while to be flexible. I thought given how seemingly nice Rachel was. I could work with her and the Swardstrom group. Unfortunately, this proved not to be the case and instead both Rachel and the other owner Doug, felt they would capitalize on my flexibility. While this matter could be made legal, I've still chosen not to sue or file police reports for the major issue Rachel caused. We first found Rachel & Doug by researching sales in our neighborhood and making a list of who historically had record sales. When meeting with them, they distinguished themselves with their expertise, positive energy, and down to earth personalities (the latter does not seem to be common in this business). Once hired, Rachel & Doug made it simple by taking care of practically everything through their network of stagers, contractors, and photographers. Their skills compliment each other well, and tag-team well. They also have really great senses of humor and are fun to work with. While our transaction had a few unexpected plot twists, Rachel & Doug were able to use their skills/relationships to get it done. Our sale exceeded all expectations and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. As one piece of advice, I'd encourage clients to discuss communication frequency in advance, as everyone is different. I'm used to a substantial amount of communications from service providers due to my line of work, and I would have preferred more frequent updates from the team. That said, I never shared those preferences in advance so I can't fault them for not being mind readers. Or for not sensing that I am inherently a worrier.
