I purchased a 23b 2026 Winnebago Ekko from Lichtsinn in August, 2025…read more There are pros and a couple cons to share. PROS - Lichtsinn's volume of online instructional videos was helpful before the purchase and afterwards.  I flew in to Minneapolis, the pickup and drive down to Lichtsinn worked great The RV itself has been all I hoped for and more The orientation process Lichtsinn providing a loaner vehicle  The service and parts department.  I have called about 5 times over the 1st 6 months with questions and they have all been answered professionally. Some of the names I recall of people who have been very helpful:  Justin, Hannah, Cade, Stacy, Jeremy (sorry I'm not remembering everyone's names). CONS - Primarily related to the salesman I was randomly given when I first sent an email inquiry about available stock. When I brought up the idea of a 3rd party inspector (which I paid for) reviewing the vehicle before I flew in, the initial response was Reed tried to talk me out of it. When I flew in to purchase the vehicle there were a couple of items not completed from the inspection.  It appeared that Reed hadn't reviewed the inspection items.  He then tried to blame the service department. Two weeks ago I had an issue with my steps malfunctioning while I was traveling out of the country.  I called Lichtsinn towards the end of the day.  The operator forwarded me to Reed.  Reed said he would try to get someone from service.  The phone was placed on hold for 10 minutes and then finally went dead.  I called him back and left a voicemail for him.  I then called back again and Hannah (I believe she is in Accounting) was super helpful and tried to help.  I still haven't heard from Reed. For the most part Lichtsinn was reputable.  After the most recent incident it was appropriate to leave this feedback.  If you have a choice on salesperson, I would consider this. Thank you.   Steve H.

Jason, You have totally missed the point. If your team claims that they "completed a…read morecomprehensive pre-delivery inspection and detailing process", they lied. If your team had inspected and detailed the RV, that you were paid $5,000 in advance to do, why was the damage to the refrigerator door the first thing we saw upon entering the RV? (We will remind you that we had to push to have your people replace the door rather than your usual method of putting it off till we got home to have our local dealer fix it.) Why was the RV sitting on the lot dirty? Why was the window behind the driver seat smeared and we had to ask to have somebody come and clean it? Why is the center running light lens above the cab missing, but there is still electrical tape still stuck to the coach? Why are there scratches in the windscreen that look like something was dropped and scrapped across it? The list goes on. The dedicated 2 1/2 hours "delivery appointment and orientation" is a learning experience for new owners to learn how to operate the RV. It is not a session for new owners to be checking for damage. You conveniently do not allow any time for owners to do that as you are to busy trying to get paid and send your customers down the road. With regards to your comment about the 22 days before informing you of the damage, we were on the road during that time, traveling to Vermont and then back to Oregon. This is just a lame excuse for denying responsibility. Nobody was going to fix the windscreen while we were traveling, so there was no point in making an issue of it at that time. Your staff all knew that we were going to be on the road during that time. Again, this should have been detected during the pre-delivery detailing and inspection and long before we even got there. If you seriously want to "provide an exceptional ownership experience" and are truly "committed to assisting you in any way you can moving forward", you can send us a check for the glass windscreen that we are having replaced tomorrow (Tuesday 8/4/2026).

They assigned us a 'power only' camping spot but we needed to get some work done so reserved a hotel room nearby. We arrived on Sunday and got her parked outside the service facility. They give you an insulated bag that contains waters, snacks etc. they have free popcorn too as well as several vending machines with food and drink. They open right at 7a and they will give you back your rv at 3p. Then you do it again if needed. They have electric only camping spots if needed. There is a visitor center across the street so definitely take the time to go, we did not do the 2 1/2 hour Tours we did not have time. So we spent about 45 minutes wandering around the different displays reviewing the history, they even have a movie running that shows all the different Winnebago models that have been in a variety of shows like Independence Day or escape to witch Mountain, that was fun If you need to refresh some of your T-shirts, they have a giant clearance table with some of those shirts were only five dollars from past events, quite the deal They also had some campers on display from days gone by and that's always a lot of fun to look at them They finished our unit on the second day by about 1 PM, so we are all caught up on our recalls and our awning should be working great now and we are going to hit the road They also had some parts in stock that we want to have extra on hand so we were able to purchase those and store them in the RV. They have an excellent waiting room, with wi-Fi and there were many people working because they waited for their repair. They have popcorn, coffee, and vending machines with lots of snacks. Our tech worked with us for two days and explained everything that he did, so we're glad we made the trip to have all of our warranty work done at the factory

I've been there a good number of times and really appreciate the incredibly friendly and helpful staff--and the fact that they will take walk in "nonscheduled" appointments (you will need to wait until they can get you in, but they always do, and they even have free campsites with power and access to water/dump for you you while you wait! -- a godsend when something goes wrong and you cannot wait until regular service places can get you in). And the work is very good, fast (once they get you in), reasonably priced - and they stand behind everything they do, which is what matters most to me. One other perk-since you are at the 'mothership', they can usually get the parts right off the shelf! It gives me much peace of mind knowing that they are always there, ready to help!
