Narine of Sweet & Crafty is utterly fabulous. She delivered above and beyond my expectations for my wedding. She created our invitations, table numbers, escort cards, menus, and all the signs. Not only were all these pieces created flawlessly, Narine is also very efficient and professional in her communication and quotes. There were so many different pieces but Narine always laid them out in a way that made everything simple. For the invitations, she went out of her way to procure the exact design I had my eye on, even though in most circumstances it would have been impossible to obtain it. I discovered Narine from Sweet + Crafty through my florist (only about a month prior to my wedding) and she created my wedding menus, ceremony programs, table numbers, place cards, hand written mirror table assignments and other various hand written signs. She is a Godsend! First and foremost, her creativity is amazing and her work is exquisite. I trusted her eye and style 100%. I loved every aspect that she brought to my wedding. I had an idea of what I wanted but she helped me narrow it down into a perfect, cohesive theme. All of my signage was beautifully hand written and my ceremony program and menus were understated and simple yet exactly what I wanted. She also worked very closely with my florist so I knew everything would flow nicely! I planned the wedding on a budget, and I thought that hiring a boutique company out of the bay area would be more expensive than what I could find on minted.com, but to my surprise she was very reasonably priced, and in some aspects cheaper than what I found online!! I also felt more at ease since I could explain to her what I wanted and send her photos, not just having to pick from a bunch of options on a website. When it comes right down to it, now that the wedding and the honeymoon are over, there are two primary words to describe Narine: indispensable and incomparable.  Narine is deeply knowledgeable, highly organized, very detail oriented, motivated, and always responsive.  Additionally, nothing ever phased her.  Not when we told her that we were planning a summer wedding with 150 guests in the Bay Area in a six month time frame.  Not when we needed her to find another caterer when we just didn't feel right about the first.  And not when we asked her to find us a videographer the week of the wedding.  Which not only did she do, but found one that gave us 50% off his regular rate.  The only thing she ever said was: no problem.   Narine listened to us from the beginning and helped us create the unique wedding that we imagined that matched our personal style. From start to finish she also provided excellent advice that helped us navigate the seemingly unending complexities of planning a wedding.  The day of the wedding she was the wizard behind the curtain, pulling all the levers and pressing all the buttons.  With Narine in control, we were the center of attention and everything went perfectly.  If anything went wrong, we still don't know about it today. Narine is amazing at everything that she does! From her beautiful stationary to decor ideas to desserts to every single detail of her party planning. I've attended an event that she planned and was amazed at every intricate detail. Narine did an incredible job at our wedding this past July. My family is still talking about how beautifully she directed our entire day, which consisted of a ceremony at the UC Berkeley Botanical Garden Mather Redwood Grove followed by dinner at a friend's nearby home. Narine handled all the details with our florist and caterer as well as making our wedding programs and the menu cards for our buffet. We moved smoothly from one phase of our perfect party to the next and only later I found out that the caterer I had hired presented some difficulties which Narine handled completely. She's a dream to work with, very responsive and efficient and in charge on the day of the event. On top of all this, she was more affordable than anyone else we interviewed. WOW! Narnie is amazing, her work without a doubt is the best in the Bay Area. She provided all of the signage for our wedding and knocked it out of the park. I will definitely be going back to her again for signage and invites ( even though we didnt use her for this but OMG have you seen her work?!?). Narine provided "month of" coordination for us for our wedding, as well as helped us arrange our rentals. We would have easily been lost without her. She is calm, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. She was way worth the money, as she created the "magic" that happens at weddings. I was beyond calm on my wedding day. I had absolutely no concerns. Narine was perfectly organized and understanding of what I had envisioned. The day was miraculously smooth in my eyes and my guests. Narine had everything under control, despite the inevitable chaos that happens behind the scenes. What was especially amazing was hearing how much my vendors appreciated her. My caterer who had never worked with her before was raving about her after the wedding. She said it was wonderful working with a true professional. If nothing else, Narine saved us thousands of dollars. She recommended vendors within our budget, who were amazing, and we never compromised in the "look" we were going for. She was able to get us discounts through the rental company and passed along the savings to us. Let it also be known that Narine is a true artist herself. She is INCREDIBLY talented. Her art is amazing. Prior to the wedding industry she was going into art as her profession. While it's not within the wedding coordination package, she is awesome at signage, calligraphy, and invitations. She brings that same level of talent and her artistic eye to her work. Narine is the best wedding planner in the world! We can not say enough wonderful things about her. We absolutely loved our daughters wedding and she was incredible throughout the whole process. Narine started the planning with us a year before the wedding and created the whole wedding for us. She was very easy to communicate with, she always returned emails within days. She came up with the whole design, creating the invitations, table numbers, incredible signs, picked chairs and sofas for the venue, lighting, everything was more beautiful and special than we could have hoped for. To begin, she is so easy to connect with-- sweet, down-to-earth, smart and passionate about what she does. Her background in graphic design and the arts in general gives her a competitive edge. Frankly, she's a never-ending pool of talent, from wedding planning and coordination, to invitation design and printing, to calligraphy, to favors (i really could go on forever). But what I appreciated most was that in working with her, I was working with a friend. As organized and high-functioning as she is (and she really is), Narine is a refreshing departure from the high-strung wedding planner who could arguably tempt you to call off the show and elope.
