Although it is officially the year 2019 (Happy New Year once again to everyone), my heart is still…read morew/the 2018 holiday season -lol. What can I say other than I absolutely love that specific time of the year! I sometimes reminisce before moving forward and posting a few additional holiday-oriented reviews is on my to-do list before moving full steam ahead into 2019. It is imperative that Sweetly Spolied Treats is highlighted..This company definitely satisfied me + my family's sweet tooth with fantastic tasting cupakes during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday. It all started in October 2018 as Sweetly Spoiled Treats Owner/Baker Asia Grant-Williams had a section displaying some of her desserts at the "Damn Gina"! Day Party/Pop-Up Event at Taj Lounge in Manhattan. I purchased a Strawberry Cupcake and a "90's themed" Sugar Cookie. From the moment I took a bite of that Strawberry Cupcake my life has never been the same....let's just say that I became hooked.for lack of a better word-lol. Once sending an email raving about the cupake it was not much later that I ordered a dozen Strawberry Cupcakes ($36 - $3 per cupcake) as part of our Thanksgiving dessert. Asia puts "love" into her desserts and these cupcakes had strawberry fruit inside and on top of the cupcakes. My family enjoyed them so much that one minute they were there and the next day they were all gone-lol. My brother requested more cupcakes which led me to placing a Christmas order for two dozen cupcakes ($ 72). One dozen Strawberry Cupcakes and One dozen Assorted Cupcakes that included Caramel, Red Velvet, Vanilla and Chocolate Cupcakes... Asia decorated/adorned then with supercute holiday themed shaped toothpicks and packaged them in neat clear cupcake boxes. My favorite are the Strawberry and Caramel. Asia creates rich, moist, fluffy cupcakes that have delectable frosting and are scrumptious! The ordering process was easy as I simply emailed Owner Asia Williams and she then sent online invoices so that I could make payment via credit card. She also delivered the cupcakes to my home which was much appreciated. Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I have already started thinking about ordering some cupcakes for my loved ones.... Please check out Sweetly Spolied Treats webite aa well as the company's Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to get more information and see some of beautifully made cakes, cupcakes, etc. You will also see pictures of various flavored desserts such as Key Lime Pie Cupcakes, Samoa "Girl Scout Cookie" Cupcakes, etc. Desserts can be created for any and all special occasions. Sweetly Spolied Treats serves NY, NJ and the Pennsylvania area.

VIBE: cozy living room with big picture windows, and kitschy like your aunt's house who likes to collect vintage glassware. Complete with a kid's play kitchen and a costume nook. Good number of tables for 2 to 8 people. Bathroom is large. They have a shelf in front where local artist put things to sell and fun seasonal decorations. STAFF: Friendly to new customers and regulars, and they treat each other like family. There was a baby being lovingly passed around at some point. There was no wait to sit down for breakfast/brunch. NOTE the kitchen is not super fast, probably a 15-20 minute wait for our dishes. Don't come if you're in a hurry. FOOD: We stuck with breakfast classics. The cinnamon roll pancakes are AMAZING. The apple french toast was phenomenal. The pastries are excellent. They also do potato pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage - reliable classics. Coffee is strong and they have fun flavor syrups. Tea selection is good. PRICES: So reasonable! Portion to price is great.

I wanted cookies delivered to a Mt. Pocono for a birthday present. There was a wide variety of choices. I ordered 2 dozen; the price was so reasonable, I changed the order to 3 dozen. The cookies were delivered right on the time and day I requested. The food as very good. The Chicken Cranberry Croissant (toasted croissant with pulled chicken and cranberry salad with arugula salad) was our favorite. I've come back while driving through just for that chicken sandwich. Unfortunately we were traveling with it and I asked them to separate all the items for us and they did not. Would have been nice to reconstruct it ourselves and not have a soggy sandwich when we got to our destination. Much better to eat immediately so make sure you do that. I would have to say space is limited and the placement of the furniture makes it hard to dine in. It was very interesting because there were parties smaller than us and they all seemed cramped as well. We sat at the corner table right when you walk in on the left, we all had to sit on the bench because the circular table in the middle of the space blocked us from sitting on the other side of our table. It was very awkward because it was hard for our party to get out and the other table was full and wasn't being helpful by scooching a bit haha. I would recommend the food here but only if you're in a small party and looking for a quick bite.

They pretty much gave us condiments that we didn't ask for (no honey and gave me grape jelly). Not a super huge issue. There were a few problems with our meals. The burger as cooked well & the bacon was nicely crisped but they gave me the wrong cheese & added pickles when I asked for no pickles. The southern chicken gravy biscuit was alright too. The gravy was a little bland & the chicken was just two small chicken tenders in between the biscuit. I thought it was going to be a chicken patty. There eggs were also okayish. It was very moist but like watery moist. It was edible but I didn't really enjoy it. There pancakes were tasty, the sausage links and the turkey sausage patties were the star of the show & the hashbrowns were cooked well also.

Like iHop and other breakfast chains, you get seated by a host and you can order your food. At the end, you go back up to the counter where you entered and you pay for your meal there. My breakfast wasn't anything special but after a 5 hour trip from VA I did enjoy having food in my stomach. I got regular coffee and a pick your own breakfast option consisting of French Toast, Eggs, Bacon, and a extra side of Sausage links ( not shown in the picture ). It was great eating the French toast with butter & syrup but I didn't find it to be impressed. Bacon is well bacon no matter how it's cooked to me. I'd probably still eat it. Eggs.. well they are eggs scrambled and they did the job right. The links were good too but there was alot of grease on them. That's to be expected when dining here. I did try out their potato pancakes in the past and they were good but I wouldn't get them again as they just reminded me of regular pancakes with more of a chewy texture.

I was given a specific cutoff time to finish adding items to my cart and complete checkout, but the store began shopping my order well before that deadline. Because of that, several items I intended to purchase were suddenly unavailable and I was told they couldn't fulfill my full order. What made the experience worse was how dismissive and rude the interaction felt when I tried to ask about it. If customers are given a shopping deadline, the store should honor that time instead of starting orders hours early and then blaming the customer for missing items. It completely defeats the purpose of offering online ordering convenience. Very disappointing experience and poor customer service.

They only allow 15 items or less on self checkouts and many times the self checkouts are sitting idol with no one using them. Meantime the lines at the regular checkouts are long. Would it hurt to allow people a little over the 15 items to use the self checkout. More people working at the deli counter and that old grouch that was there is no longer cutting cold cuts. You do have to watch them because I found on several occasions the items in my order are mismarked with the wrong item.
