From the minute you walk in this restaurant, you understand that this is take out only. The gentleman who greeted us took care to ask questions and make sure our order was to our desire. I had the pleasure to dine at the sweet Basil Asian Kitchen today for lunch and I was absolutely delicious. This place is small and cozy. The restaurant was very neat and very clean. The staff are very nice and very attentive. My server was Ming. She made sure that my glass of sweet tea was full and all of my needs were taken care of. I started my meal with the veggie pot-stickers with the ginger sauce. It was so good. They were not over cooked and melted in your mouth. For my entree I decided on the Basil fried grouper from the chef's special portion of the menus. It was a grouper filet topped with stir fried veggies and some type of ginger basil sauce and included a side of jasmine rice. The fish was perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and moist inside. I also ordered Jasmine Rice and that was the only thing that was fine ish...the meal came with fried rice....this was the saddest excuse for fried rice ive ever experienced. The rice seems to be just jasmine rice with a little bit of soy sauce squirted in...like why??? This is a great little Thai restaurant. I have ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice with beef and chicken in the past, and both are very good. Spicy but not too hot, and a nice basil-y flavor. Today I had a cup of coconut soup and the Beef Salad. The coconut soup is the best I have ever tasted. Not too sweet, and just enough chili to give it a bit of a kick. Soup to die for. The salad has iceberg lettuce, and while I normally hate iceberg, the coolness of the lettuce against the chili sauce works. Very good. However, I will be including a cup of coconut soup in my orders from here on out. read more

Enough protein to satisfy my hunger. The lime and sprouts were fresh. And the egg noodles were yum. One thing I enjoyed was that there wasn't too much sauce on the noodles. So for a noodle dish, it didn't make me feel too heavy after eating. I also noticed many healthy alternatives on the menu. I will be back. And am excited to have this restaurant here... I tried the tom yum soup, and it was unexpectedly sweet and a little bland. I'll try the coconut chicken next time. The fried spring rolls were hot and crispy, just not my favorite. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable. The service was nice, and they didn't mind us sitting and chatting quite a while; we were in between lunch & dinner, and the place was not busy. This place is so good it's dangerous!! It's one of my very favorite restaurants. The Crab Rangoon is the first thing we tried and now we order it every time. Three of us went to this new restaurant tonight for a quick dinner. Very fresh food and well prepared. The dumplings we had for an appetizer were great. We had three different dishes and all were very good in flavor. One was cool and was returned to the kitchen but brought back fresh and hot a few minutes later. Next time, I will order dressing on the side as it was a pretty heavy serving. The vegetables were fresh and so was the chicken I had in the General Tso's Chicken. Strongly encourage dining here.
