I ordered the strawberry cheesecake rolled ice cream with whipped topping and a roasted marshmallow, while my daughter got the Oreo rolled ice cream with whipped cream. We expected at least an Oreo cookie, or some strawberries, but to our surprise, there were no toppings like that - just plain, bland ice cream. The taste was underwhelming and almost sugar-free, definitely not what we expected compared to other rolled ice cream spots we've tried. On top of that, the service was unfriendly, which made the experience even less enjoyable. I'll stick to other locations from now on - Sweet Charlie's just doesn't live up to its name. read more

I love that they have vegan options. It's hard to find standalone icecream places that have a variety of vegan icecream options. They also have milkshakes. I haven't had regular rolled icecream before so can't compare the taste to the vegan option. The vegan option has a bit of an interesting taste to it, along with the milkshake. Can't really place my finger on what it is but you either like it or you probably don't. The business is in the same plaza where the Kroger and other businesses are. It's been easy for me to find parking the times I have gone. The counter is clear so you can get to see them making your order which is cool especially with the rolled icecream. read more

Yummy! I've heard of rolled ice cream before but never seen it in person or tried it. I'm glad I did tonight. The people making and serving the ice cream were very friendly and helpful. It was fascinating watching them do their thing, mixing up the flavor of choice, spreading it and rolling it. Very neat! And it tasted really good... very fresh and home made, and nice and cold. I had the Monkey See Monkey Do flavor with chocolate syrup. My husband had the peanut butter pretzel one, with a bit of caramel. We both really enjoyed our after dinner treats. I ordered the Monkey See Monkey Do vegan ice cream roll made up of vanilla with bananas and Nutella and added a waffle. It was delicious. Although I do wish I had maybe 2 more rolls of ice cream mine came with four rolls. But it's ok because it still satisfied my craving. This was my first experience with Sweet Charlie's. I shopped at the Kroger next door, and I noticed that they were open. They limited the number of customers in their store due to the virus scare, and they would not let customers walk around the store. Paero greeted me when I walked inside. I could not read the large menu board on the wall, so he gave me a handheld menu. I had never had rolled ice cream, so he explained the concept and pointed out some of the options on the menu. I decided to try Death by Chocolate. I watched Paero chop up a brownie and mix it with chocolate ice cream. After throughly chopping the ingredients, he spread everything across a cold, circular metal surface. After letting the ingredients chill for a moment, he started scrapping them into small rolls of ice cream. He placed all of the rolled up ice cream into a small container. They offer a number of toppings, and all of the toppings are free. I selected whipped cream, bananas and almond slices. The final product tasted good. It was very chocolaty, and it tasted denser than traditional ice cream. My only complaint is the price. It costs $5 for a mini cup of rolled ice cream. It's definitely worth trying, and it's a cool experience to watch them make the rolled ice cream. I imagine I'll be back again in the future. If you've never had rolled ice cream, then I would definitely recommend that you try Sweet Charlie's at the Kroger shopping center in Roswell. read more

We came here on a weeknight and there was only 1 other party in there. No line so we ordered and watched our creation be made. They have pre-designed combinations of base flavor and mix-ins, although I am sure you can customize if you ask. We got the Death by Chocolate and the Kiss and Tell, which was a Mint Oreo flavor. If you don't like rolled ice cream, you can get any of these in a shake or donut. The owner was so nice and made ours himself, adding a chocolate syrup smiley face before rolling the ice cream, which y kids loved. The best part is last, as you can have unlimited toppings for no additional charge. They only had tables inside and wished they had some outside as there is room for that. read more
