The milkshakes are amazing and so are the chocolate options. For me, the best milkshake on the menu is the caramel toffee cappuccino. It has the perfect balance of salty and sweet with smooth and crunchy. It is simply perfection in a cup, which is what has kept me coming back even when my waistline knows I shouldn't. I have tried a few others that my kids have gotten like the cookie jar, the chocolatier, and the cookie brownie fudge. All were decadent and delicious but the caramel toffee cappuccino reigns supreme in my book. I love how all the shakes include a small piece of chocolate or other goodie on top. I've tried the regular milk chocolate, the peanut butter toffee bark, and the Dubai style chocolate bar. They were all really good. My favorite was the Dubai style chocolate, though I thought it was too small for the price, so I likely won't get that one again for that reason. Service was painfully slow during the soft opening, which is understandable as the employees are mostly teens and learning, but it was much better for the grand opening despite being slammed. I think the milkshake experience can be improved with online ordering, which does not seem to be an option currently. During one of my visits, I called ahead and was initially told that they could not take my order but on push back and assuring them I was already on my way, they took my order and it was ready when I got there. This was ideal because I was in a hurry and could not have waited around for them to make it otherwise. Online ordering, including completing the purchase online and choosing a pick up time would make things so much easier. But either way, the shakes are well worth the wait, and I am sure I will be back soon.

I tried the hot chocolate variety, which is apparently a limited time offer, and it was amazing. I then reviewed the menu looking at all of the signature shakes as well as the gourmet shakes. Being a fan of chocolate, I had to try either the cookie brownie fudge or chocolatier. I went with the chocolate based upon an employee's recommendation, and it definitely did not disappoint. The shakes are relatively thick and rich, and come with a larger than ordinary straw to enable you to drink them with ease. The shake I selected had rich cocoa, oven-baked brownies, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and melted fudge dripping down the inside of the cup. Based upon my first experience, I would definitely consider returning with my family, as well as highly recommending the MilkShake Factory in Roswell to others. Cheers

The croissants were tasty, but mine (bacon, egg, and cheese) was a little on the dry side, and ALL of them were TINY with minimal filling. I was definitely expecting a larger or at least more fulfilling croissant for the price (nearly $7 for just one croissant and no sides). Same with the machiattos. They were small but more like miniature, especially considering they were more than $5 each and lacking sweetness, so we had to add more sugar. The beer cheese was okay, but I couldn't dip the tots in it because the tots were grossly undercooked. They were soggy and frankly, disgusting. They had a strange, almost fishy taste that was rather revolting. This was the deal breaker for me. I couldn't eat them at all, and I won't return because of it. The place itself was cute, smelled delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient, but none of that makes up for disappointing food at unjustifiable prices considering what you get. I wished I had gone to get Burger King breakfast croissants and hash browns instead, which would have tasted better and been significantly cheaper. It wasn't a great first impression, and I won't be back, but I gave them three stars rather than lower because the service was good and the croissants tasted good despite being too small and skimping on the insides. If they are going to successfully compete with the myriad of other breakfast options in the area, though, they definitely need to BOTH up their game and re-evaluate their pricing strategies. Oh...and definitely cook the tater tots ALL the way through because nobody likes a soggy tater tot!

There is some bar seating inside for smaller groups to be seated, but the large seating area can be found outside. This makes perfect sense for families enjoying ice cream after a nice walk around Avalon.
