French dip was borderline cold with no aioli, french onion soup lacking cheese, chicken crepe had no seasoning and fairly certain it was made with canned chicken, tuna on the tuna salad was fishy. read more

Only got a charcuterie board catered. Friendly service and absolutely adorable space. But the board itself was $65 (it's $15 per person) and very mid. Not a great variety of cheeses in my opinion. No brie, really no soft cheese at all. For that price, I expected more range and a little more wow. I'd try this place again because the restaurant itself is so cute, but if the board is any indication, it feels a bit overpriced for just okay food. Walked past this shop and went in to have a glass of wine while we waited for a table at another location. Pleasantly surprised, the downstairs is for whole bottle tastings with what looks like cheese platters. We were directed upstairs for wine by the glass. This entire restaurant is a glimpse into to centuries past with all the antiques and worn wood walls and furniture. The upstairs area is a full service restaurant with a bar area set up in a room apart from the tables. I love the variety of seating arrangements upstairs. The space is great for a meeting around a coffee table on sofas, romantic dinner at a table for two or four, meetings or parties at a long dining room table, on & on. What a cool little place to eat and be merry. Edgar was our server, and he was super attentive and helpful even though we were only there for a drink. After seeing the full menu, we decided on the The Bubbly Drink. Whew! It was refreshing and delicious, and we can't wait to come back for more! read more

I didn't get your name on our visit but I know if you see this you'll remember me haha. I came in for a drink before heading over the the water fall near by and I was amazed by this small coffee shop on the canton strip. It has such a nice vintage style even the espresso machine has a nice classic look. Well I will say it was too early to function I usually am a mobile order girl but I was feeling a caramel macchiato kind of like the one they serve from Starbucks. ;) Well I order just that and that's where the confusion began he said "do you a want a macchiato or the Starbucks version?" And in my mind I only heard only Starbucks I said "if you have that yes" and literally fell off the rail from there. I'll keep it short but it was a mess of a conversation and after all of it I got a latte with no caramel Lmao it was definitely an experience I won't forget and that's in a good way! read more

I've given Roswell Provisions three chances, hoping it would finally live up to the charm of its location and aesthetic. Unfortunately, each visit has ended in disappointment. The coffee drinks are unremarkable and wildly overpriced. On my most recent visit, I ordered an iced matcha latte, which was delivered hot--no apology, no offer to fix it. I also tried a slice of turtle cheesecake, which was underwhelming at best. At $20 for both, the value just isn't there. The interior is dim and uninviting, not the cozy café vibe you'd hope for. And while some might describe the staff as "hip," I found them to be unfriendly and borderline pretentious, which makes for an unwelcoming experience. I really wanted to like this place. It has all the ingredients of a great café on paper--but in practice, it misses the mark on quality, service, and atmosphere. Sadly, this was my last visit. read more

The French onion soup was also delicious, rich and comforting with a great balance of flavor. Unfortunately, the main courses didn't live up to the rest. The French dip was overly chewy and hard to enjoy. And the Croque Monsieur? It was a huge letdown. The bread wasn't even toasted--it felt more like a soggy ham sandwich from a school cafeteria, smothered in way too much béchamel. For a dish that's a staple of French cuisine, it was a big miss. Restaurant is awful! Café downstairs was extremely welcoming and inviting with my dog! The restaurant staff was extremely rude and discriminatory. They pick and choose what dogs they want to sit on their patio. The manager didn't even have the decency to tell me my 25lbs dog is too big to eat there. He sent his child of a host to deliver his message that she was obviously uncomfortable delivering. Eating area also hadn't been cleaned in a long while. Manger needs to learn to pick up a broom and not make his staff deliver an awkward message while he stands around on his phone. There was more dust accumulated around the stairwell then there was fur on the entire body of my dog. read more

One of the best experiences. from London and was visiting family in Roswell. I was impressed both by the food upstairs. We also went down the coffee shop and enjoyed some pastries and teas. It was a pleasant experience. The staff upstairs and downstairs were very friendly. The style of the restaurant is very similar to something I might see in London actually and felt both cultural and welcoming, a dim lighting that sets a cozy almost romantic mood. The downstairs portion definitely gives a classic 60s aura of France that I truly appreciate. When I come back in the Winter, I will definitely return. Highly recommend to anyone traveling in Georgia to check out Roswell Provisions on Canton Street and perhaps done upstairs in Le Bistro restaurant. read more

Prices are outrageous. I tried to grab two croissants and one with ham. 17-18 bucks. I'll still grab a baguette from time to time but that's it. I'm not opposed to paying for quality but I'm not paying that much for a few croissants. Service was nice and polite. read more

Our bartender at Salt Factory Pub recommended Roswell Provisions when she overheard me telling my husband that before we returned home, I'd like to have a great latte' and a piece of cake. I'm so glad she did. The shop itself is so cute. They sell high end deli cuts, gourmet oils and vinegars and other "provisions". We shared a piece of tiramisu which was pretty good (wish it had more of the espresso flavor) and the coffees were great. You know what makes the coffee and cake taste so great? The staff! lol everyone was cheery and friendly. In todays world after Covid wrecked businesses capability to provide great service, this little gem does not disappoint in that arena. Give them a try. Cake really does taste better when it's served with a smile. read more

Roswell Provisions is a hidden gem. I have passed this place many times but never realized there was a full restaurant bistro upstairs with a beautiful French country ambience. The downstairs area offers gourmet pastries, meats, cheeses and drinks to go and upstairs is a wonderful dining experience with outdoor seating as well, which is great in the summer. My family and I opted to dine-in for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and there was no wait and ample seating. We were immediately greeted by our server and he was very friendly and helpful. The brunch menu consists of "create your own" crepes, omelettes, and Challah French toast with a variety of sides. I opted for the create your own omelette with Swiss cheese, spinach and mushrooms and it was delicious. I also got a side of bacon and it was deliciously cooked and a very generous portion. My family went with the omelette and Challah french toast. The French toast was so thick and rich, covered in fresh maple syrup and came with a side of cheesy hash--amazing! I really enjoy this spot for so many reasons but it is simply fantastic for lunch. The downstairs has a coffee/tea bar and offers everything from delicious cup cakes to paninis and sandwiches. Its an order at the register and find one of the amazingly cozy seats kind of place. The upstairs "le bistro" is a full service french restaurant. They have a small outside patio and then several indoor tables. I've even hosted a bridal shower in their small private upstairs room here. Don't miss the crepes and flatbreads for lunch. Super delicious. Finding free parking right in front can be a challenge on a busy Roswell day but there is a $5 paid lot. I haven't had trouble finding parking a block over as long as its not an "alive after 5" night - if thats the case, through everything I said about parking out the window and uber ;) read more

adorable restaurant right in downtown roswell. the bottom floor is a cute café, while the top floor serves as a french bistro. the whole restaurant is chock-full on antiques, which makes for a super cool atmosphere. we came with a larger party and were sat in a semi private room. our server was very sweet and the food was great! the table shared a bakery basket full of warm croissants and muffins with jam - delish. and for dessert, we all shared the bistro brownie twist (a brownie with vanilla ice cream and reeses throughout) and the bailey's cake and cream (pound cake topped with ice cream and a bailey's pour). read more

After years of coming here albeit less and less because of the quality and service. It has plummeted in the last several years. The quality and availability of great French desserts has dwindled a loooooottttttt and taste is lacking. The decor is lovely but that's not enough to carry a place if everything else is missing. The sandwiches are hit and miss. Sometimes great sometimes blah. The coffee yesterday was cold and didn't feel like a triple shot even though that's what we ordered. The chai latte was also cold so the only thing consistent is everything was cold. I'm in the hospitality industry and my son who had the chai latte is also and is a trained barista. The staff member was very nice. The machine needs servicing. So along with the lack of parking and extreme lack of wheelchair parking the prices are very high. The barista and both employees working behind the dessert and meat/cheese counters were all super friendly, patient and happy to talk about what's available from the downstairs shop as well as the restaurant upstairs. The mocha I ordered was excellent and the GF chocolate cake (I can't believe it's GF) were incredible. I love having a little bit of France nearby. The three employees who were working are all top notch: friendly, knowledgable and gracious. I loved the atmosphere. I went there for the Brunch. I walked upstairs to the host stand. There was a large group behind me. The hostess walked over to them first, the guy in the group had to say "she was first". I asked to be seated on the patio at a table for four as my friends were parking. After about 15 min when no one had brought water o anything. I went inside to see that hostess/waitresses taking the large groups order and they not only had water but drinks. After requesting a server, a guy came out that was very nice. The menu was a little limited for brunch but that was fine. I ordered one their signature Bloody Mary's but apparently due to supply chain issues they didn't have the garnishes and the server had to "check to see if they had olives" - not their fault but still disappointed. 10/10 recommendation this place. Everything about it was beautiful . This cute French restaurant is located in Historic Rowell, which in itself is a cute area to walk around. The place was decorated nicely. They have a cute indoor dining area as well as outdoor. They also have a private room which you can book for events. There was a baby shower when we visited. The restaurant is located on the top floor. They have the provision store on the ground floor. Now to the food. The menu is French so you'll see items like Le Croque Monsieur, Le Crepe de Salmon, and Beef Bourguignon. I went with Le Croque monsieur as did another of my friends, one friend got the Le Sandwich Italien and the last friend went with the Beef Bourguignon. Everything was delicious. They were also served in cute cast iron skillets. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

Still giving 4 stars because they definitely did seem to have a good cheese and meat selection, as well as good macarons and croissants. But, we didn't actually get anything. We were expecting more of a store with imported products, but there wasn't much of a store. It seems like the main thing is just the cheese and meat and then a few pastries on the pastry side. I could definitely see someone coming to grab a croissant and coffee, or coming to pickup a few things for a charcuterie board. I am vegetarian, so I would only be coming for the cheese, but not sure if I would drive that far just for that. I really thought the store part would be a lot bigger with a lot more things like jams and specialty imported products and ingredients, but that wasn't the case. Both sandwiches were filled with something rotten. It took more than 1/2 hour to prepare out sandwiches (and we only got them due to a "reminder" to the sandwich maker), and then one at a time (there were two of us), we took one bite and had to spit it out immediately. I had the prosciutto and apple panini sandwich and my friend had the same thing without the prosciutto. I mean pungent, awful, rotten, something was VERY bad in there! My friend offered to pay, despite the fact that there was no way we could eat any of it, but we were only charged for the water and root beer. Ugh, that horrible rotten taste lasted until we found somewhere else to eat. read more

When you want that outside café/bistro breakfast/appéritif experience in Roswell but dread the long wait at the Canton St busy restaurants, Roswell Provisions is the perfect choice!! They got a variety of high quality charcuterie, cheese, tapenade and wine to pick from. They also have great pastries.. not so much the gelato which has the consistency of ice cream (need to work on that). -Getting a table outside is no challenge since most people take it for a wine store or coffee shop. *One problem: The black mold in the ceiling and the sagging balcony above. It's only a matter of time before it collapses on the sidewalk underneath!!! The columns holding it are not strong enough to prevent a really bad accident soon. read more

Only reviewing the champagne selection - Called ahead to ask about their champagne selection before going. The response was "we have red wine and white wine and I think we have champagne". Not the response I was hoping for from a French provisions store. Went to the store anyway to see for myself. Unfortunately the store associate was no more helpful or knowledgeable once we got there. Hi stumbled upon this place while I was waiting for a wine festival to start. It was hard to read the menu inside didn't seem like they had much to offer but I needed a little something before I started to drink. So I ordered a sausage egg and cheese biscuit that cost $6! I felt that was super overpriced for what it was but I didn't have a Lotta options of places to go so I grabbed it. I didn't like how you order from one end of the store and then you walk on the other side of the store to pay and they don't even give you a slip to give to the person at the register. So I could've said anything and be rang up a different item, but I didn't. I sat outside to eat which was nice to see the downtown area. After they brought me my food nobody ever came to check in on me. They never asked me if I needed any jelly or anything for my sandwich. I was just sort of completely ignored. You can find Roswell Provisions at 955 Canton St, Roswell, GA 30075 - it's just to the right of Zest along the main Roswell town-center drag - look for the bicycle on the window and sign. Parking is along the streets (difficult) or in one of the several lots. I parked across the street at the Canton Street Antique market. If you've been following along you'll know from my last post that while having dinner with some friends at Zest, we decided to try Roswell Provisions for coffee. Roswell Provisions is an independent market specializing in wines, fine cheeses, cured meats from the fabulous Patak in Austell, sea salt butter - you get the drift. They also have coffee and a display case full of desserts and baked goods. Conceptually modeled after Star Provisions at Bacchanalia, Roswell Provisions takes similar foods and places them in more of a small town setting. The interior of this fine establishment is a bit over-the-top and forced, but I think in a good way. At first view there's a lot going on with burgeoning French-Provencal decoration and object-de-art items at every view. I think the idea is to impart the feeling of European corner grocer, and yes they do that in spades. Everywhere you look is another item that blends well with the overall design concept - not my style (I tend towards a more modernist, streamlined look), but for the Roswell resident, and especially for the Roswell mother-of-two-point-five, I'm sure they feel quite at home. It provides a fantastic setting for the terrific grocery offerings. This is a place that you have to walk around and explore - very nook and cranny holds something special and it's certainly worth your time to peruse. It's also very difficult to walk out of without holding a bag of goodies. On this night besides coffee we purchased a couple of baked sweets. We sat in one of the few tables towards the front of the store and enjoyed more conversation while nursing some very good coffee. We had a croissant stuffed with almond paste, a nutty pecan tart and of course my favorite, ice cream. All were good and a terrific end to a great evening. The brewed coffee is mediocre, the patio chairs are very nasty and dirty and the service is a hit or miss. More attention needs to be given to the coffee quality, service and products. They do not give a veteran / military discount. Slightly less than $4 for a luke-warm cup of water that tastes like cheap coffee. read more
