I'm so sad that I didn't catch the name of the woman who did my brows the other day. Usually, Gagan (G) does my eyebrows for me (and I'm always happy with her work). This most recent visit, another woman did my brows and I've been catching myself wriggling them in the mirror all the time because I'm just so impressed by how clean my brows look while also maintaining their natural shape. All the girls here do my eyebrows really well, I've had the best eyebrow experiences with Gagan and there's a new person I hadn't seen before but the these past two times she's been the one to do my eyebrows and I've absolutely loved them. She told me her name is Bree. I'm trying to grow out my eyebrows so I always make sure to let them know I want them thicker but usually they're slightly too thin for my liking (still very pretty and nice shape). I have been going there for YEARS since they open this location. I went in with my daughter and got our brows and lips threaded and let me just say how disappointed we both are. They had two new ladies working one left a chunk of hair in my daughters eyebrow when I told her about it she almost got offended. Then the gal that did mine has done them before... she made mine so thin. They don't even match. On top of that im not sure if they are using a different type of threat because its been a couple of days and my daughter and I have both had major break outs in the areas we got threaded. This is the only salon I will go to in town! I have only let Joti thread my eyebrows for over 8 years. She truly is the best. I am always in and out in a timely manner and all the staff is friendly and sweet. I have also had my hair cut done here before as well. They also service in facials and henna tattoos and even makeup. Their salon is set up with a cute background to even take pictures. I always leave satisfied. read more

I am so upset. I just left there with my eyebrows hacked They don't even match. I've spent months and months trying to let them grow out to their original thickness so when I went in today, I intended to get my forehead threaded as I normally do when I get my eyebrows done. The threader asked me to do my eyebrows and I said OK but just a light cleanup because they've been growing and I'm still trying to let them grow out and she said OK. OK clean. She was doing my eyebrows all the while having a conversation with other men that were there so I believe she was not paying attention to what she was doing. There was no care for what she was doing. As she was threading near my eyebrow, I could feel the pain and burn and hairs being ripped out, and I was thinking to myself, "she is taking a lot of hair out" and as soon as she handed me that mirror, and I looked at them I saw they were so thin. I asked for a light cleanup, and she completely went against what I said, and decided to take out most of my hair and one eyebrow is much thinner and different than the other. So not only are they thin, they're not even the same. I've never been so upset you might say it's just eyebrows are gonna grow back but when I've spent now most of the year and last year, trying to regrow them to look more natural and just for someone to take them all away and it really does put an effect on you. To top it off I explained to her my position and exactly what I wanted and she did not care because the conversation that she was having with the two men was more important than the care of her client. I urge everybody to be careful when you go there and if you do decide to go there only let the older woman help you unless you want some thin awful eyebrows. The girl that helped me I think her name is Jody. She had braids and either henna or tattoos on her hands and I believe she wears glasses. She's the more trendy young looking girl. I knew when I didn't see the usual older lady that I trust to clean up my eyebrows I shouldn't have done it, but I let her do it anyways against my judgment. 4 stars to ROCKY for being efficient, nice and friend. I was surprised to have gotten my eyebrows cleaned in 10 minutes. Quite understandable bc she was the most experienced out of all the other girls. I thought it was considerate of her to clean my brows simply and then ask me if I wanted to go thinner. I would ask for her again. DOWNSIDE: i think she could've cleaned the hair off my face instead of just handing me tissue. What I really didn't appreciate the most was two of her coworkers talking to her and look down on me as rocky threaded my brows. I sat, head tilted, eyes closed and was hearing them talk in a different language really loud above me. I was pretty uncomfortable and I found it unprofessional. I didn't rate it five starts for a few reasons: -The woman who threaded my brows did not consult with me before starting. Horrible! It is my first time getting my eyebrows threaded (i usually wax them myself at home). It was not painful at all so I'm glad about that, what I am very disappointed in is the result. I got my eyebrows threaded by a young girl there, she missed a lot of hairs in both ends of my brows. When she was done she gave me a tissue and mirror. (My sister was with me and she later told me that at other places they usually clean up your brows after and if necessary they pluck some as well.) Well plucking was very necessary! I had to go home and clean up my brows myself. When I wiped my eyebrows with tissue I asked the girl if she could take more hair off my brows and she said no (what?! Who says no to a customer's request?!) I was so uncomfortable and mad already I just got up and paid. After my brows I was going to ask her to thread my whole face since it wasn't painful, but after I saw how she left my eyebrows there was no way I was going to let her thread my face! I definitely DO NOT recommend this place to anyone! For it being my first threading experience I am so bummed and dissatisfied. Ugh so mad. Price: $8 read more

I was a bit hesitant to go inside! After i did i was told to sign in they took my temp and told me to go sit at a station, kinda rude but i guess! I wanted to ask for Joti since a coworker of mine recommended her to me but they were kinda bossy In a very rude way so i just trusted the girl to do my brows she did a pretty good job she threaded a little too high in my left brow but cleaned them up very well. i didn't catch her name. They got the job done. I saw someone else comment how they just gave the customer a tissue to clean off the excess hairs instead of doing it themselves like most places. That also happened to me. I wish they would've brushed up my hairs and cut the long ones with scissors like some places. It was only $9. My co workers go here so I gave it a shot. Would I go back...probably not. I've been to this eyebrow threading place a couple times, and for the price -- it's decent. It's a no-nonsense, sit down, thread your eyebrows, and pay for your services, kind of place. Sometimes, it's not busy when you arrive - and there's no wait. Other times, you have to wait at least 5 minutes. The whole process takes less than 10 minutes (for eye brow threading). What irks me a bit is the ladies always seem to thread off too much of my left eyebrow hairs! :( It becomes way too thin when compared to the right side. UGH. Then they have the decency to suggest that I "pencil" in the left brow to make it thicker? I'm thinking to myself "WHAT - ARE YOU KIDDING ME?" My eyebrows were fine BEFORE you threaded them off to the thinly state. UGH. sigh. For this reason, I am giving this place an overall 3 star rating. So I have been looking for a threading salon out here. I was so nervous and took a shot here. The first time I got my brows done by I. (Don't know her full name.) She did exactly what I asked for a simple clean up, that's it. I was fine with it and left with still thick brows. Then I came back and went to SHEWTA!!!! SHE MADE ME BROWS LOOK FLAWLESS!!! I had been considering semi-permanent brows but after going to her!! I don't need it. Highly recommend her, she arched them PERFECTLY. I will only go to her, but she is only at the Ming location on weekends. Call the Ming ave. shop ahead of time and they will tell you what shop she is located. Thank you Shweta!! read more

Yes this place maybe fair in pricing but the results ended with two 3-inch bruises and also a rash. I didn't see the lady who threaded me wash her hands before and she made me feel really uncomfortable. She seemed to be annoyed with me since her and her coworker friend were speaking before I got there and made me feel like I interrupted their important conversation once I signed in. While I was getting my services, she didn't seem to be good at customer services but very good at talking to her friend beside her working. Then while she was threading me, she cut herself and continued to thread despite the wound which kind of grossed me out. I won't come back to this place. It was alright for a quick walk in. I got eyebrows and my mom got eyebrows and upper lip. They felt like they weren't complete, had nicks and stray hairs, and didn't use witch hazel at the end.
