It's a tiny little place with zero seating, but they sure have a lot of different options available. After taking a look, we eventually settled on the Crème Brûlée croissant. Thank goodness we decided to share it, because it's a massive concoction. The top has indeed been torched like a stereotypical Crème Brûlée, and it really does have that burnt caramel flavor. The inside is full of this delectable cream that's just so, so tasty. And while the croissant part is maybe not as successful, as a whole, this is one stellar dessert. I stopped by Kream after seeing all the hype on Instagram about the famous Korean "Dubai chocolate." When I saw the price was $9.90 per chocolate, I was honestly a little surprised, bc it's sold under 7 per chocolate in Korea. But they were running a promotion until the 15th -- 5 for $30 -- which made it much more reasonable. I've never had the original version sold in Korea, so I can't compare it directly, but from what I've seen and heard, it seems pretty similar to what's trending there. Korean reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and people say it tastes just like the viral version. The texture is definitely chewy, just like the name suggests, and it's very sweet. Personally, it was a bit too sweet for my taste, but that's just my preference. That being said, I gave some as gifts and they absolutely loved it. So if you enjoy rich, sweet desserts -- or you're looking for something trendy and fun to share -- this would be a great choice. The shop itself is small and cozy, but very welcoming. The place is primarily take out only and if you buy 6 cube croissants it is tax free. I stopped by Kream Desserts on a Monday afternoon. I got overwhelmed by the amount of cube croissant flavours all neatly on display. It was so hard choosing which one to get (I only wanted one!). I couldn't decide if I wanted a cube croissant, a cookie, or something else. I finally opted for a earl grey cube croissant. Some desserts are self-serve like the croissants where you grab a tray and use the communal tongs hung near the display. Other desserts like cakes and their drinks you'll have to ask staff. And there is no place to sit in this shop, which isn't very convenient if you don't live nearby. If you order one of these cubes to go, along with a latte, you'll probably have to walk around for several blocks to find a spot to sit and enjoy them. The cube croissant craze reached New York after its start in the UK and our prices for one croissant were 12-13 USD so naturally when I found out Canada had their own cube croissants with over a dozen flavors for a fraction of the cost I was THERE. Any cream or milk they use are direct from a farm. During their soft opening period, all their desserts are 10% off. I ordered the following: 1. Strawberry Kream Bomb ($6.50 - 10%). 2. Matcha Kream Spanner ($7.50). The Strawberry Kream Bomb had freshly sliced strawberries on top of their fresh cream on a croissant cube. Inside the cube was more cream. All their cubes are 7 cm on each edge. I could definitely taste the freshness. The Matcha Kream Spanner is a chilled drink with ice cubes and a milk & cream mixture. Then, matcha syrup is poured into the cup. There is a good matcha taste. The entire drink is very refreshing. The Awesome Milk Kream Bomb ($5.50) is the original cube with cream. I also saw that they had Fig Kream Bombs ($6.90). A Roll Cake costs 4" for $15.00 and 6" for $22.00. A Cake In Case costs $7.90. There is no free WiFi. The service was kind. The croissants are surprisingly good. They're crispy, and the insides are very creamy. They really load it with cream inside. I recommend the taro if you prefer something on the light side, the cream also has a strong taro flavour. We also got a matcha and taro latte. The matcha latte is sweet with a strong green tea taste. Kream is a specialty dessert place that opened up recently, just north of Yonge and College. I have been hearing positive things so I wanted to try out - and I am so glad I stopped by! They sell croissant cubes stuffed inside with cream, in a range of flavours like milk, strawberry, chocolate, caramel, black sesame, and tiramisu - to name some that come to mind. I tried the milk flavour cube and it was SO good!! Pastry itself was perfect and it was stuffed full with the cream, which was the best cream I've had in a pastry. It was so fresh, fluffy, and flavourful. An amazing combination! I recommend that you eat the cube by tearing bits of the pastry with your hands and dipping into the cream (rather than biting in since it can get messy that way). I thought I would take mine to go but ended up eating it all there - I couldn't stop after I had my first bite! They also have hot and cold coffee and tea-based drinks. We tried the matcha kream spanner (iced) as well as the "sunny ade" drink they had as a special summer feature drink. Both were amazing! The matcha had a great flavour, I loved the cream that topped the drink - it felt extra decadent. The sunny ade was super refreshing, with orange and passionfruit flavours, with passion fruit seeds added in. The citrus was so good and perfect for a hot day. They make all of their croissants fresh each day. I think the cream is all from local dairy farms. The owners are also the sweetest couple, and work there alongside their staff. There is also such a cute ambiance inside - I saw a bunch of people taking photos with their desserts. There are tables where you can put your drinks down while you eat your croissant cube! I stopped by here after a lunch downtown as a recommendation from my cousin. The specialty here seems to be croissants in the shape of a cube. They have many different flavours to choose from ranging from sweet to savoury. I decided to go with the lotus biscoff flavour because who doesn't love these cookies? Great decor. Great staff, very friendly. The dessert options are great. Yet i was little disappointed to the croissant cube. I wished the size of the cube a bit smaller because The current size, it didnt look like it is good for 2 ppl but it was too much for 1 person, in my opinion. Also i was expecting the cream inside follows the flavour that assigned to but it doesn't. I got a tiramisu and a lotus biscoff. I was expecting more exciting flavour inside, yet it was more like regular cream inside. There is no easy way to eat this without a mess. its like either i eat the croissant and the cream doesn't follow the bread when i tear it. The bread is somewhat chewy but i think thats only because i didn't put it a oven or airfryer. so i ended up eating the bread by itself and scope the cream which i did find there are too much cream in one serving. I knew it was fully creamed inside, i just didnt know it was that heavy altogether. I have no doubt that their croissants are really good, maybe if the cream contains a bit more of the flavours and maybe lesser cream. and probably i would enjoy it more.
