Our Danish Grilled Cheese was delicious. $6 and a perfect snack for 2

So glad we discovered Sweet Freedom! Perfect place to grab a snack to go- we chose the Danish Grilled Cheese, they have a big selection of grilled cheeses to choose from, and it was delicious- ooey gooey with a touch of sweetness. The place is small and cramped and it was busy so that can get uncomfortable, but the staff members were all super nice and helpful and clearly very excited to share their cheese knowledge. Perfect place to get stocking stuffers, from unique brands of chips to mustards, jams, and of course most any kind of cheese you'd ever wonder about. Wish they'd had some local hot sauces though.

I ordered a make your own cheese plate to go. I gave the woman a general idea of the types of cheeses I wanted and she guided me to help decide what would be best. She was super helpful and described the different cheeses. It was a perfect lunch to share!

I love cheese! If you're like me and you love cheese, come to this shop. Located inside of the south side of the 8th street market, you'll find this gem. Cheese is cut to order. Stay and enjoy a cheese board and a glass of wine or take cheese to go. They also offer baked Brie, one of my all time favorites. Service is friendly and welcoming. Ask for suggestions or try some before you buy. They also offer some small cheese related items for purchase. Only downfall is the parking. With 8th street market growing so quickly, parking can be hard to come by.

Sweet freedom cheese is incredible from the food to the staff, 10/10. The sandwich we had (ham, butterkase, and pineapple pepper jam) was the best sandwich I've ever had. Staff was so kind and helpful as well! Can't recommend them enough!

    Mmm eat here too!!

Cheese is it's own food group in my opinion. I love cheese! This cheese market is an open counter setup inside the 8th St Market. Long cases of a variety of cheeses, some meats and a small store section with items like cheese boards and fondue pots and wines. They also have a small sitting area for a wine bar where you can order cheese plates, baked Brie or grilled cheese! I will be back for that. I was super impressed with Jessica. She was so helpful in her descriptive explanations about the different cheese flavors and textures. She also let us sample anything we wanted to try and based on our feedback, knew exactly what cheese to offer next. A cheese expert for sure! I settled on a double Gloucester and a Mona Lisa aged Gouda. If you like sharp cheddar, try the 6 year aged one. Wowza! They had a few fresh breads but would be nice to offer a good variety of crackers to buy too.

A nice Variety of Assorted Cheese selections

Great Grilled cheese sandwich's. Very nice wine, cheese & crackers selection, I did see Salami's & other goodies to snack on. There are tables & chairs in & outside.

Oh, what a glorious place! A vast selection of cheeses, many of which I have only read about before, all curated by a kind, patient cheesemonger. I visited with my mother-in-law and we tried many cheeses as we assembled an epic cheese tray along with some freshly sliced Italian meats and sides (get the dried pears and bacon jam!). Plus, they had several cheeses that require no refrigeration, so I toted two blocks of cheese back to Arizona! This place will be a must-visit for me whenever I return to Bentonville.

I just took his class and I'm still smiling (and snacking on my delicious creations). Vince is an absolute gem--funny, patient, and totally a free spirit in the kitchen. He doesn't just teach recipes; he teaches with soul (and a little bit of chaos in the best way). The way he "measures with his heart" makes the whole experience feel like you're learning from a wildly talented friend rather than a formal instructor. Even though macarons are notoriously tricky, Vince made the process approachable and genuinely fun. He answered every question with warmth and encouragement, and his love for baking is infectious. Highly recommend this class for anyone--whether you're a baking newbie or a seasoned home chef. You'll leave with delicious macarons, new skills, a full belly and a full heart! 10/10 would bake again!

They offer an array of culinary and related subject classes and courses. I just so happen to fall into this wine class. It's a really neat experience. If you are into wine, even better. You dive into what wine is, how it is made and how to really taste it. And not only taste it but understand what you are tasting. I throughly enjoyed the class and may sign up for the wine sommelier 2 course. Brightwater is a great addition to the NWA neighborhood. I am looking forward to coming back to eat, taste, and learn something.

I was there primarily for the cheese, of course, and I was very pleased by their variety. They carried some of America's best, including Sartori and Milton Creamery. I was excited to find they had a cheese from Wales. There are cheese curds and sausages, too. Cheese tastings were offered at the nearby bar. The pantry aisles included bread from France, crackers, honey, and a whole shelf of jams and pickles from local Fluffy Butt Farms. The jam maker was there providing samples, too, and they were very good. I had to buy two jars. There is also a nice alcohol selection. A fridge held cold beer and cider cans as well as single serve wines, while a whole back section of the store has loaded wine racks. I would be glad to come here when I am next in the area!

The chicken fried steak is the best. Not greasy. Huge! The gravy is on point. We tried the cream cheese corn and I'd have to say that I thought the green beans are better. The onion rings are incredible! The mashed potatoes are very good. The service is good. The only issue we had was that we had ordered a side order of onion rings. When a huge basket came out, I asked if this was the side order and the waitress quickly commented that she had put it in as a side order but that they sent a whole order. She said she would adjust it but when she brought the check she said that she took off 10%. Quickly doing the math, the basket we were charged for was $11 while the side order is $5. 10% didn't come close and we barely made a dent in the basket of delicious rings. The live music was nice but they might need to tell the entertainer that it isn't meant to be a show, just background. He doesn't need to be the center of everyone's meal. Local Flavor is a must try! It's awesome inside and makes you feel like you're eating in a neighborhood square. There was an old guy singing old karaoke country songs which added to the fun/weird atmosphere. Upstairs they have a small arcade that while cool, had about half the machines were broken. The service was really poor. Our waitress didn't just seem like it was her first job it seemed like it was the first time out of her house. We had been sitting for 10 minutes while she walked by 5 times before she even acknowledged us to say she'd be with us soon. She was confused when my wife ordered a Malbec, couldn't provide a single bit of information about the drink special, and didn't understand when I asked for a Peroni. You know, the standard Italian pilsner. One of the 8 beers ON THE MENU. The food is just ok. It was fine. It's close to Olive Garden. You're not gonna find granma's 100 year recipe here, standard spaghetti and meatballs which did their job well. We got the triperfecta the eggplant parm and the chicken parm and while they did not come out hot, everything tasted fine. The big draw here is the ambiance. The owner has a gold mine if they took some time to train wait staff and added some passion in the kitchen. I will also add that at some point in our meal someone started tossing warm rolls to patrons and that was a lot of fun.

Unfortunately, the food did not meet my expectations. I found it to be bland and lacking the variety of pasta options that I've come to expect from Italian restaurants. Compared to other local Italian restaurants we enjoy, the menu felt limited and the flavors were not particularly memorable. As a first-time visitor, I also found the restaurant a bit confusing when we arrived. We were immediately asked whether we wanted to attend a show rather than being directed to seating or given an explanation of how the restaurant operates. It seemed like there was an assumption that guests already understood the concept. A brief welcome and explanation for newcomers would have been helpful. While others may enjoy the experience, the food simply wasn't for me, and I would likely choose a different restaurant next time.
