I must admit that I'm a bit disappointed in the customer service at Sweet Gourmet. In 2019, I spent over $740 on Le Creuset cookware alone. Some was in stock and at least two pieces were special order. If I come to the store during the week I'm usually nicely dressed, right after work. And I'm treated nicely. On the weekend I dress in jeans, Tshirt, and a ball cap. There is a marked difference in the customer service when I dress down. As many times as I have been in the store you would think they would know me by now. During Christmas I was in three times, once with family. About six ladies were on the floor and not one asked if they could assist. They were standing outside the cash register openly talking about a customer and what has previously occurred. I have been treated rudely, and in one case disparaged, by the staff. My main goal in shopping at Sweet Gourmet is to support local business--but why should I? I'm ordering my specialty items and Le Creuset on line now. It may nor be as personable but at least I'm not treated rudely, or like I'm "less than" by the way I'm dressed. read more

Their candy selection use to be fantastic...quality from get go. But now the quality is less than Dollar Store. if you are going to charge boutique prices, then your merchandise has GOT to be top notch. I use to buy huge slabs of English toffee made with roasted pecans, 1/4 inch thick, topped with a good amount of chocolate and literally blanketed in chopped TOASTED pecans. This time pieces were 1 inch, wafer thin without ANY pecans on top. pecans that were mixed in toffee were limp and made the toffee soft. DISGUSTING! read more

We usually love sweet gourmet. Even had them ship us beans to Pennsylvania. But this visit was very disappointing as the help was very rude. Granted my husband and I looked like we had been traveling for several days - well we had - but no excuse. The store salesman was helping someone with coffee beans and we are waiting and obviously waiting and when she finishes she walks away. Another sales clerk walks up as we were about to help ourselves and we said well she walked off and then she rudely responded "well I am here." 100% customer satisfaction is guaranteed is false. Left message on website. Called. Zilch response. Bought 5 lb. sugar free dark chocolate covered raisins. Coating was hard, dry, came apart in bits in my mouth. Sad, as I purchased 2 times, 2 lb. bags were delicious. Also bought the cherry and ginger. They were delicious. The least they could do was live up to their written promise to satisfy a once happy customer. read more

They have a huge inventory of LeCreuset, tableware, Zwilling, delicious oils and vinegars, specialty foods, coffee, tea, candy and they always have amazing decor for each holiday.
