Despite receiving a confirmation of the reservation, the staff treated her terribly, claiming that there was no reservation for her. To make matters worse, she overheard the staff making disrespectful and hurtful comments, saying she "does not belong in a place like this" and insinuating that she couldn't afford the services - that were already paid for!! This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. Not only did they fail to honor the reservation, but they also made my mom feel unwelcome and disrespected. I expect a business that claims to offer a luxury experience to treat all customers with dignity and professionalism. I will not be returning, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before considering this establishment. I felt sooo bad for my mom. What a way to spend Mother's Day. During the entire session, the massage therapist repeatedly pulled and twisted my wife's shoulder in a way that caused significant pain and discomfort. We have both had many professional massages over the years and have never experienced anything like this. What's most concerning is that more than a month later, her shoulder is still causing her significant pain. The issue has become serious enough that she is now undergoing an MRI because she believes something may have been injured during the session. While we cannot say with certainty what the MRI will show, the timing and circumstances are extremely concerning. Based on our experience, I would urge others to exercise caution and make sure they communicate clearly with the therapist if anything feels uncomfortable or painful during treatment.
