I had fully intended to indulge in a late luncheon today, and while observing the street view, my…read moreeye was instantly caught by a rather striking establishment known as Postino Addison. The initial arrival was entirely seamless, as I was able to secure a most convenient parking space directly on the street. Upon crossing the threshold, I must confess my initial impression was that the venue might be somewhat ordinary however, I was instantly disabused of that notion. The interior architecture features a truly magnificent, extensive collection of vintage typewriters alongside an absolutely breathtaking, grand display of fine wines. Having personal experience with typewriters from years past, I found their impressive stock to be thoroughly nostalgic, and the wine selection was nothing short of exciting. While the venue beautifully accommodates guests for delightful alfresco dining, I escorted myself inside to a highly comfortable table. The gentleman assisting me was exceptionally warm, providing a level of attentive hospitality that makes the entire excursion worthwhile. For my afternoon refreshment, I requested a crisp Blackberry Smash. While engaging in a brief, lovely conversation with the waiter, he elegantly suggested a curation of bruschetta pairings that would harmonize beautifully with the cocktail. On his superb guidance, I selected a quartet: the Goat Cheese & Spicy Pepper Jam, the Tomato & Mozzarella, the Apple Brie & Fig, and the French Onion Bruschetta. The kitchen executed the order with commendable precision. When the board arrived, the presentation was an absolute masterpiece and the entire flavor profile was a complete delight. The sophisticated combination of savory, sweet, and crisp textures left me thoroughly happy. It is an absolute treat of a destination, completely worthy of one's dining calendar. I am entirely enamored with this exciting new find and shall most certainly be returning

I also enjoyed their delicious prosecco (one suggestion is that they serve prosecco in a tulip shaped glass or flute). Overall, a nice experience with good food, service, and atmosphere. What an amazing experience! As someone who has done a TON of mediocre teambuilding and engagement…read moreactivities, I cannot recommend chef tre enough. His ability to engage our large and diverse group while making it a fun and memorable experience for all was extremely impressive. Even people who normally roll their eyes at these sorts of activities were participating and having a great time. It didn't matter if you were an experienced chef, a novice, a senior leader, or a newbie on the team....everyone loved it! His location was a bit out-of-the-way for our company and took us about a half hour to drive to (which is not a distance we normally travel for dinners/activities). On the way there, some people were complaining about how far away it was, but THE MOMENT chef tre started talking with everyone there was zero additional mention of the drive (and it wasn't mentioned again a single time after the fact). Thank you chef Tre and team for an amazing night!

What a great experience!…read more I came here with a group of 19 colleagues for a team building event. Our group was split into two teams at five and two teams are four. Two stayed out to be judges. Each group was provided a mystery box of chicken thighs, and mahi-mahi for protein. We also had broccoli, orange, marmalade, rosemary, and black beans. We all had fun, laughing along with Tre. He is hilarious! The meal he and the other chefs prepared for us, was also delicious. Free-flowing, fun and laughter! Would definitely recommend this venue for other team building events.

Well, finally made it to one of the most highly rated BBQ places in DFW and possibly Texas as well…read more Father's Day, they opened at 11a, I arrived 9:40a & stayed in my car til another fellow arrived at 9:50 & went ahead up to wait at the door. I joined him. They are organized. One entry door is for Dine In, the other door for Take Out. The line def grew, for Dine In the line was already around the corner of the bldg by the time they opened - but a sign said they have seating for about 290, so a lot of ppl can be in there. for Take Out, you walk in & walk straight to the back. There are two cashiers there ready to take orders. After you place your order, you step back and hang out in that general area. You have an order number on your receipt, a staff member will come out of the rear kitchen & call your number when it's ready. The food. I opted to order a variety/sampler type order: 1/2 pound each of prime brisket sliced, pulled pork, jalapeño & cheese sausage, and pork ribs. Also ord'd two Texas Twinkies. Sides ordered were: potato casserole, fried okra, creamed corn, and broccoli salad. Then for four ppl ordered a pint each of peach cobbler and banana pudding. I was first in line for Take Out, I had the order, grabbed bread, & was in the car at 11:08. Nice & efficient they are. We got set up for the meal, and had a sample of all mentioned. I tried each meat by itself, and then later each one with sauce. The brisket and pork ribs meat were smoky flavorful, moist, and tender. Solid. But the stars of the meat were the jlpño-cheddar sausage & pulled pork. The sausage was cheesy with some kick (duh), but it also was physically more filling & consistency-wise thicker & heartier than any I can recall. The pulled pork had a coating or addition of something in it (a little bit of brown sugar, perhaps, that caramelized during cooking, etc?). Whatever it is, it works very well. First two meats mentioned were solid, the latter two were stellar. And then when eaten with the sauce added, they were all fantastic. Definitely elite tier bbq meat. This may be weird, but the Tx Twinkies have been around awhile, I've known of them, but had never eaten one til today. (I eat veg 99.9% of the time, & just hop off the wagon for one meal every so often on a special occasion, like today), so don't judge. lol the Twinkie was decent, I was expecting a different blend of all the flavors together - but that had to do with my forecast of the taste, not Hutchins' assembly or cooking of the product. Their execution was on point - all ingred in their proper place and cooked to a nice darkness & Sides: creamed corn is Dynamite! Broccoli salad very very good! Potato casserole in the A range. The flavor of fried okra was A range, but the breading was inconsistent on 10-15% of the (very large) serving. Liked it for sure, just noted on some minor issues of breading staying on the okra. Desserts. The peach cobbler texture-wise has more of (but not exclusively) a super moist cake feel to it - BUT do not let this dissuade you, the taste is straight-up deliciousness! No, it's not a traditional cobbler consistency, but don't split hairs - try it, you'll be very delighted you did. The banana pudding was standard fare as banana pudding goes. It was on par as any - not superior to any other, but also not less than anyone else's either. Out the door, incl tax, $125. Fed four adults to completely satisfied. Just over $31 per person. Overall, 5 stars, no doubt whatsoever! Wonderful meats, superb sauce which amplifies, flavor of all sides in A or A+ range, friendly staff & efficient operation. A strong recommend.
