Working in the area today and looking for a quick lunch. Found this place in a local plaza and found it to be a great surprise. Sparkling clean and with Instagram worthy interior, this is a great place to relax though the music selection might benefit from a less profanity laced playlist. This could explain the lack of a crowd at noon. The food is fresh. Comes out quickly and is of large quantity and quality ingredients. I found it to be filling as were the strawberry lemon boba drink I ordered. Definitely will return.

Well I stumble upon this place while I was out and about in Pasadena. Thank you to the other on yelp for giving this place a 4.5 stars bc that's what made me want to try it out. We ordered passionfruit green tea and Vietnamese coffee. That Vietnamese coffee is just as strong as any other Vietnamese coffee out there. I really enjoyed it. And it kept me up til 3:30am! The banh mi had good flavor. We ordered the bbq pork banh mi. They do not toast their bread here which I prefer. But my hubby likes it how they prepared it. I had the bbq pork rice place. The flavors were there. It was just a bit on the light/ bland side. The fish sauce is also watered down. I think they need to turn up the seasoning from a 3 to a 6. Otherwise it's not bad for Pasadena but I don't think it's 4.5 stars either due to lack of flavor in the meat and fish sauce.

Sweet Lemon is a wonderful and memorable exception. Extremely friendly service and a very nice, chocolate tasting Viet coffee with hyper sweet Boba. Their drinks are only part of the attraction. They also have some of the best decor in Houston, lots of good Viet food options, and a big awesome menu with lots of drinks I want to try, and they offer something special and unique, especially for this part of town. Located in a busy and really cool part of Pasadena, full of life and energy. I will not forget my excellent experence here, and can't wait to come back with my much better looking partner. And I'd rather have a Sweet Lemon than a Jack Lemmon. Wouldn't you? It doesn't really Matthau anymore though. Barbi is my favourite thing to EAT She's perfect from her prissy mani to her famous FEET But when I'm in Pasadena and feeling BEAT The only Lemon I will get is a Lemon that's SWEET The taste is f***ing awesome and service is NEAT They're the nicest yogurt sellers you're likely to MEET They're fast and friendly and their toilet is DISCRETE So get your Pasadena Boba from the Lemon that's SWEET! Honestly, I did not expect much from a random boba place here in pasadena. At first, their boba drinks were really good. They make it real fast and you can adjust your sweetness level and ice level. I had to grab a quick dinner before driving out of town so i ordered a small combination pho. I did not expect it to be so good. At first I noticed there wasn't enough broth but later I realized it was because they put so much meat and noodles into the bowl! It tasted really good the only downfall...they had hella off branded sriracha. But i know that's not their fault...so i just put in the chili sauce. It very clean inside despite how things look from the outside. I'm glad I found this place I'll definitely be coming back a lot

The inside is still the same. It's nice and kinda homey. The service was great. They were pretty quick with bringing the food. What was not so great is the quality of the food. I've eaten here before. I've ordered take out and drinks and told all my coworkers how great the food is. Today I was very disappointed. I ordered a banh mi ga and the bread was so hard that I could knock on it and it sounded like wood. When I brought this to the attention of the employees they said the place is under new management and they are getting their bread from a different supplier. I definitely think this was not a good decision by the new owner. The fried rice was also different. The Pho was still good.

Sweet Lemon is hands down the best tapioca drink spot in Pasadena! It can even compete with other tap shops in Houston. Why did I not come here sooner? You can tell they use good quality tea, and I like that you can customize your drink however you like it. I always opt for less ice and 50% sweet on any drink that I order. Passion fruit green tea is usually my go to order, but they have a lot of options here so don't be afraid to try something new. We did appreciate how clean the store was. With covid and all, we felt comfortable here. Everyone was wearing masks, and the store is very spacious for proper social distancing. Just be sure to use their different walls and signs for photo ops and social media needs. We will definitely be back again soon whenever we're in the area. Next time, I'll even eat lunch here because their pho and banh mi look great!

Y'all this place is sooo good!!! I go here 24/7 their combination pho is soo delicious. For the small, they gave a pretty great portion of meat! I just recently started trying more stuff from the menu and the chicken fried rice is so good too! This is definitely my #1 spot

Came here earlier this week for the first time, trusting the reviews left behind. Got a grilled pork spring roll and a drink. The drink was DELICIOUS! I got the Princess Peach with rainbow Jelly, recommend it if you want something refreshing. Excited to try more drinks! The spring roll was a 1/10, & the peanut sauce wasn't good at all. Haven't tried other food in the menu yet. Because of Covid, they aren't allowing customers dine in, which i understand and respect, the place looks really clean and spacious. I'd say the service was okay, i went in the evening.

Their peach melon green tea ALMOST mimics my favorite peach melon tea blast from Teaholic. Not quite but almost the same! The place is really spacious and the interior is really cute. I got the pork banh mi and that was really good too. The bread wasn't too hard or chewy. The spring rolls were good but the sauce had too much Hoisin sauce in it.. I could tell right away since the sauce was really dark. Their taro smoothie is really good too! Just glad we were able to attend their 25% off soft opening! read more

Sweet lemon was the perfect treat at our wedding. Leading up to our wedding, they were very easy to work with with our changing schedule due to covid. They were in constant communication with updates throughout the process. Our tasting session prior to the wedding was SO much fun. They were very generous with all the multiple flavors we could try. Additionally they offered to place our personal stickers on their cup for our wedding day as well. So happy we had them on our special day to celebrate us. Couldn't have asked for a better caterer! read more

We visited Sweet Lemon on several occasions in our search for our favorite Brown Sugar Milk tea closer to home. They have a decent alternative called Tiger Sugar which is not terrible. We recently ordered food from here, and were thankful that the portions are quite large. I was shocked to see that they sell elote which is definitely a must. We dined on: - Vegan Pho - Meatless Pho (for a kid) - French fries - Elote with cheetos and without cheetos In the future, I might just stick to the elote and the boba. If you don't have a large order you can be in and out quick, but we had to wait for over 20 minutes to get our food. The store front is carefully decorated and I could see how it can be a popular hang out in a post covid world. We will definitely be back, unless we find our preferred flavor profile somewhere else closer to home. read more

This place has been on my list for a while now and finally got around to checking it out. The place is super cute and "instagrammable" with enough seating available and games for guest to play. I went on a Monday around 2pm so it wasn't too busy but service was slow considering there were only two people in front of me. My order came out quickly but just ordering took a while. The guy in the front seemed to be new so that's probably why. I ordered the mermaid lemonade and spring rolls. The mermaid lemonade was okay, tastes good but has a grape taste which I'm not the biggest fan of and the spring rolls were GREAT! All in all I would definitely recommend this place specially since I plan on going back to try more things on their menu including their Vietnamese sandwiches. read more

This place is great if you're looking for a quick, cheap eat. I personally love the popcorn chicken but have had better pho elsewhere. Although the inside is very trendy and Instagram worthy, I am always just "meh" about the service. read more

The store itself looks really nice, you can hang out and play board games and also take pictures. The food is alright. i bought their brisket Pho, which was alright. But i dont understand why i could only order the larrge size for a to go order (which doesnt make sense at all). They have a wide selection of bobas, and they are good tasting. The staff were not alert. when i went in the store (i was the only customer). i waited almost 5 minutes before one of the staff took my order since they were both busy at the back of the store. read more

I'm finally back from the last time few times. Last few visits: they didn't have their dining area open and wouldn't open the bathrooms for me and told me to go to Cici's or somewhere else (and I drive 45 mins all around for work and always need a pee stop-where I will buy food, drinks, etc..)...so I stopped coming back and visited other restaurants and cafes around the area. This is the only boba place in the area so if food and service stays great then I'll be coming back on a weekly basis. Or just rotate them into my usual stops when in the area: Ahi Poke, Freebirds, Panarea & Sycamore Cafe stops... the vermicelli is decent here (they don't put in bean sprouts! I don't like sprouts.) the noodles are on the thicker side than other vermicellis I normally have. They're a good option food & boba wise if you want this type of food in the area. It's not as flavorful as other bowls I have at other places, but I'd still come back and it's good enough to eat. Better than what I could make...oh wait...I don't cook Vietnamese food. I just know how to eat them. Only thing I know how to make is spaghetti, steak, and maybe caldo del res...and that's on special occasions only. read more

Lunch combo gets you 50% off of your drink. Wish there were more options for the lunch item that gets you the discounted drink though. Good flavor. Nice presentation. They also look like they remodelled. I don't remember seeing the cute yellow booths in the past. Beter food and drink compared to other boba places that only gives you the fried options (like popcorn chicken/ squid balls/ French fries). Here you could get rice plates, dry noodle bowls, or even Pho. read more

My car was down and I was dropping my wife off at work and picking her up. I needed a place to get some WiFi and wait for her while I legit. And this place as a good spot. Food was good and they didn't mind that I was there for like 4 hours on my laptop lol. The only bad thing is their free WiFi is hella slow . I was in my xfinity WiFi whole time I was there. Came during their soft opening (25% off) Super sleek and clean interior! It's a very instagram-able place. There's a long brown leather couch against a faux grass wall with a super duper cute neon lemon sign!! There's also a yellow neon sign saying "when life gives you lemon". I got the Thai green tea, Sunset Lemonade, and Mango green tea. All drinks are a 10/10!! The mango green tea still has that tea taste that isn't overpower like most boba shops. read more

Tried this place last weekend and it was pretty good. First time here so some things on the menu sounded a bit odd like the salted cheese drinks. Apparently it is some sort of cream cheese, so just in case you were worried about that like I was. I ended up getting a boba milk tea with cream, can't tell you what type of cream. It was sweet but it also tasted pretty good. The boba was okay, I hold my boba expectations very high. The oreo bubble waffle was also very delicious and oh so light. It was just a good snack to have with my boba. The line never went down on a Saturday night, I can see why. Parking is horrible here though so either get lucky to park in the tiny parking lot or drive around a find street parking. read more

Great spot in Pasadena! Looks sketchy from the outside but it's a different vibe when you go inside. It's spacious with lots of seating. They have board games available as well. Plenty of items to order from the menu which is nice. My brother and sister-in-law ordered their mango smoothie and milk tea (they liked it). They also ordered spicy popcorn chicken which was SO good! Right amount of spices flavored with each chicken and the dipping sauce was the perfect pair. This place is worth checking out if you're in the area. read more

Milk tea (9/10): To my surprise, this drink was perfect. It wasn't overly sweet and you can still taste the type of tea that they used. Lemon green tea (9/10): If you're feeling under the weather, I think this drink will help your immune system. It's very refreshing! It's not on the menu but the employee was trying to accommodate to my boyfriend's preference. Great customer service! The environment is very open and spacious. This is a fabulous hangout destination! read more

This place is awesome! The interior decor is so cute and open spaced. We got the sunrise tea (melon lemonade), and mango strawberry tea. The Sunrise is sweet, but pretty good! Mango strawberry is your typical any boba place tea. We also got a beef Vietnamese sandwich, banh mi. Good amount of meat, the bun is toasty and fresh. read more

Sweet Lemonysnickets, this place is great! Tried it for the first time a few weeks ago and went with their recommendation of the milk tea boba and I added bursting boba to it, it was delicious! My bf and I also ordered the Bahn mi and it was great and they even have a deal going on m-th, buy two Bahn mi get one free so we took that one to go. It's decorated super cute and they have games for you to play while you wait. That's the only downside though, it did take quite a while to get our food. read more

Went in craving something sweet ended up getting an avocado smoothie with crystal boba ,it was so delicious! Looking over the menu there are so many unique things I can't wait to try the next time I go! Employees there were very nice even letting us try a sample of boba before choosing. IMPRESSED by the Pho! Really surprised me. Broth was super hot a s flavorful. Meat was on point with tenderness. Really reluctant at first because of the young staff and the low energy we were initially met with. Energy did improve after we were served. He was nice. I love the food here. Especially when I'm craving Vietnamese and boba at the same time! I sometimes even come here to study and grab myself a snack, their spring rolls are on another level. Their service too, i ordered a plate and I forgot to order a drink. After they gave me my food they came to my table and offered me water. I like the fact that they pay attention to your needs as a customer coming to eat some yummy food! read more

Great place! Love the aesthetic! I got the strawberry smoothie with tapioca & it was delicious! It was very creamy and very filling. My only small complaint was that they took a while to give me my order even though nobody was there but oh well still really good! read more

Yeah... not impressed. Staff couldn't explain to me how much sugar is used in a 24oz size drink. I got tired of asking the same question 3 different ways only to get the same shoulder shrug or showing me 2 fingers and saying "this much" what a joke. Probably won't be coming back too bad cause the tea was actually good.... be advised they don't use much of the sinkers/tapioca/boba in their tea. Not much aloe in my drink... read more

I tried the lychee green tea with honey boba and chicken nuggets and they were super delicious. The green tea was not too sweet and the chicken nuggets had the perfect amount of breading. The ambience of this place is nice and clean, and I would definitely come study, socialize, and play board games. The owner is super nice and the staff is very welcoming. This place is my new obsession. It's very close to my son's new daycare location and I find it difficult not to swing by everyday when I pick him up. I've been to all the boba tea places around town. Not a lot of them have consistently good drinks, a wide variety, or have likewise good snacks, if they even have them at all. The mermaid lemonade and popcorn chicken here are extremely addicting. And I've had MANY similar combos at other bubble tea places. Their recipes are unique and delicious and their staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is also bright and uplifting, with happy trinkets and neon lighting. This place is perfect for studying or getting together with friends. read more

If you took a panoramic glance of the strip mall after parking, you'd barely notice this shop over the more lavish, modern-looking DaBoba a couple stores down. DaBoba undoubtedly looks nicer and offers more traditional food options associated with milk tea (e.g. popcorn chicken), but their drinks are significantly smaller and more expensive.
