I was a bit disappointed after driving quite a way to get here since it was recommended as the super best cake supply and there's so much hype by them. I drove here sadly the girls in the front lack customer service, not very friendly. Store has a nice assortment very well stacked a bit pricey on certain products and also have some that other supply stores do not have. I was looking for a specific cake box and they did not have it sadly again the way I was answered in regard to my question could of been better. I also checked in and had a 10% coupon on yelp for the store but did not honor it because they haven't bothered with yelp in years. Sad since they give so much h publicity on social media. Hope they always thrive because customers are the reason they are where they are. Ambiance needs more smiles. read more

Happened to come across this store by chance and, as a baker, it was like a dream come true. They have a pretty great lineup of baking supplies at affordable prices. Both their cookie cutter and chocolate mold selections were extensive. Their selection of cake boxes was awesome and super cheap! I found myself making up new baking projects as I walked around the store. The employees were pleasant and offered assistance and the store was impeccably organized and clean. They even have a back room for decorating events. Although I left empty handed, I know I will be coming back here before my next baking adventure! read more

I LOVE sweet life cake supply, just sad it's so far! A little over an hour away but worth the visit. I normally order online but today had to come in to pick up a bunch of chocolate! The store is super cute! Love the decor and how neat and organized everything is. The staff is very friendly. Prices on items are decent and I usually always find something I need/want. Shipping is VERY fast I usually get my items in a few days, always packed perfectly. Love the cake expo they out together every year. This store is super far from me but it doesn't stop me from driving an hour plus. It's a bakers heaven. They have everything you need and don't need. I want it all! They also have master classes which I wish to attend one day! The master classes are not super expensive either. The staff is helpful and will help you find what you're looking for. I actually went to two different Publix stores and the ones they had were not the one she was looking for. I stumbled across this store off of 127th Ave. and 1 20th St. SW. This is my second time visiting this store & I LOVED IT!!!!!!!! The employees are always super friendly and willing to help, answer questions, or recommend a product. They have a wide variety on candy molds, buttercreams, fondants, candy apple sticks, melting wafers (which I absolutely love, melts quickly), food colorings, cookie cutters, cake pans (all sizes), cake boxes and so much more! They have wide aisle, everything is easily assessable, nothing is out of reach. The store is clean and not to mention pretty as well. Five stars! I purchased two different bags of melting wafers for $2.99 each for 12 oz (which is the same size of the candy melts Wilton) but packaged smaller, and two flavoring oils for $1.99 each. read more

So very disappointed in them today. I'm a regular who has attended classes, purchased items and referred people in the past but today was disappointed in their customer service. I patiently waited in line for my turn to inquire on 6x6x4 cake boxes since its not self serve and indicated if need boxes to ask a "Sweet Life Sweety". The girl behind the counter asked me what I needed and I inquired and asked her to show me what I required. As she was coming out from behind the counter another customer comes and asks for caramel color to die the merengue. Instead of advising yes we have that and Ill be right with you she proceeded to attend to him and show him the available options as I was left waiting once again. As I waited and observed as she was taking her time I finally politely advised "I was next" which she simply stated "I know" and continued to help him. I proceeded to leave. The older I get I find that the skill of customer service is not a skill point anymore. read more

Sweet Life, has become my go to cake supply store when I need the everyday caker/confections materials at a reasonable low price! I'm talking cake boards, boxes, dummy cakes, styrofoam balls for sugar flowers (a great variety of sizes), fondant, sugar paste, candy melts, frosting, dusting/disco glitter! My mother-in-law and I have been their customer since they opened (on their first location). The owners (Natasha and Melanie) were always really friendly and helpful. It has always been a pleasure to shop in this store, I have printed several icing paper images with them and they were always perfect. Our last time there was on May. My husband went to get an image printed on icing paper, fondant and buttercream for me on Friday afternoon. We sent the image 2x2.5, when he comes back the picture is double it's size. So we printed ourselves at home with normal paper just to see if it would come out the size we made it to be. The size was just right, I told my husband I would go back there the next day, because they were closing in like 15 minutes. I really didn't think it would be a big deal, they would just see that they made a mistake which is totally acceptable and print a new one. Saturday morning I went there and explained what happened and the manager said "I remember, I was the one who spoke with your husband and I just printed what you sent. That was the size." With a little attitude I didn't deserve because I was being polite. I showed her my printed picture and she said it was a different size on her computer. I asked her how that was possible and she said that the program is different from word (the program we used -and have always used- to make the picture) and that I needed to specify the size next time so they can edit but their website specifically says they will not edit any images (the image must be sent ready to print). I asked how this have never happened before and also to open the image on her computer so I could show her that it was not my mistake. On her computer showed exactly the size I asked for but she explained again that the program wasn't the same so it would come out a different size. I asked her if she could "fix" the image and print it again but she said that she was going to charge me. At some point she started to be rude. I said: ok, you just saw that it was not my mistake and you will charge ME to fix your mistake? She laughed and said "Yes". I felt disrespected because to me wasn't about my $10 going to the trash it was about treating people with respect and accepting her mistake. Paying again for something I didn't do wrong is just not right. I left the store saying I would not come back and she literally laughed at my face! I said my mother in law would be upset about the whole thing and would not come back either, she laughed again and gave me a shoulder shake and said "ok..." My whole family is all about supporting small businesses and we would always choose them first when buying any cake supply even though you can buy those things a lot cheaper. We could print images at Publix, which is closer and cheaper... I came home, finished my cake and started to search all cake supply we used to buy from them. A edible printer costs less than $200, $20 for 100 icing papers and ink is like $35. That's when I realized how much it would cost them to fix their mistake... I will buy everything online and if there is an "emergency" I'll drive a little and go someplace else they won't treat me like a piece of garbage. read more

I had my daughter's birthday party here today, I couldn't go to bed without writing this review. It was absolutely fantastic. It was 13 girls including my daughter. They all are 9 or 10 years old, which I think is perfect age for this kind of event. They had so much fun, and they actually learned about baking and decorating. The place is spacious, taking into account they do recommend this to be a drop off party. There is no space for the parents to sit, and I totally get it. They have good reasons for that. The place is also very clean, recently painted. The staff is great. And to me this is so important, because good service makes everything better. All the girls are nice, attentive and patient. They set absolutely everything. I brought a lot of things from home (aprons, baker's hats, extra decorations), they set all that too without reservations. Really, they take care of EVERYTHING, handing out the food and drinks to the guests while they take a brake from baking, cleaning up after them, giving out the party favors. I had all the time to enjoy watching the girls have fun and take pictures. I also included the birthday cake in the package, and it was super good, moist and fresh and very cute. I recommend The Sweet Life 100%. Trust me, I drove from Hollywood, across Miami, to Kendall, trying to find the best place for what I wanted, and this was the very best, by far. The price is fair. There are other places that charge the same or more for less time and less activities. BTW I forgot to mention, this is the only place I found where the kids actually bake!! read more

The staff is beyond knowledgeable about the products they carry and are more than willing to walk you through steps to help you. I had no idea what to expect at the baking party at Sweet Life today, but we were so pleased and surprised with each step of the process and the set up at the store.  Everything flowed so smoothly throughout the party because it was so organized.  It's especially difficult to manage twenty young girls, however,  the staff did this with ease. I recently moved and discovered Sweet Life when I needed to make cake pops for my friends wedding. She needs wine colored cake pops. I tried and tried on my own to get the color just right and I just couldn't do it. I used to go to another cake supply store that was tiny (won't name which one) and the lady pretty much told me she had no idea how I could achieve that color. Today I came in to Sweet Life and this AMAZING girl that works there named Celeste went SUPER out of her way to melt some chocolate and make a test batch until we got the color PERFECT. I mean it was above and beyond. You can tell she not only knows what she's doing but has the BEST disposition and customer service. It took everything in me not to hug her. She explained how to achieve other details I needed to decorate the pops. I went in there as a final attempt to get this color right and she made sure I left with the answer.
