I went there to get my daughter a nice birthday bouquet; we knew the one we wanted: teleflora's orange splendor. When I got there, the young girl and older woman acted as if they don't know what it was (even though it's on their site). I showed them the picture of the bouquet. Then the older woman said, I can't get in the back where the vases are kept. I said, ok, and I chose another orange vase. I gave them 1 hour to prepare it. When I got back I was surprised, so surprised that I asked if that was the correct bouquet. The young girl said yes it is. I showed them the pic again and she started giving me all sorts of excuses about the vase, how much 1 flower cost ,and blah blah! I said, "miss, the bouquet is on your site with the price so what is the problem?" She started again with the vase cost because the other one was 49.99 and this one is 59.99. I said, "miss the vase is not an issue, if it is $100 I'll pay $100 for it." The older woman came out and said, "what happen? You don't like it? " I said, "no because it's not what I requested." She acting like I'm begging for the bouquet, "this one cost... and this one cost.... It is flowers so if you don't like it leave it." I asked, is that how you treat returning customers? Really?" The old woman started ripping up the box holding the vase before I could even say 'no I don't want it." I said, "see my review. " These people are nasty and disgusting and disrespectful!!! I will never go back there. I'm a RN so many times my patient's families ask for referrals for flowers in or around the area and I'd mention sweet pea bc I bought from them b4 and the bouquets were beautiful. I am very surprised at all of the negative reviews, because our experience with Sweet Pea Florist was nothing short of wonderful! A dear family friend passed away suddenly and due to a scheduling issue her wake had to be held on Sunday which was also Mother's Day (one of, if not THE busiest days for florists). I spent the entire day on Friday trying to arrange delivery of a standing floral spray to be delivered to the funeral parlor before her service began on Sunday. Without exaggeration I contacted close to 40 florists, both large, well known chains as well as smaller, local "mom & pop" establishments with no success whatsoever. At almost midnight on Friday I stumbled upon Sweet Pea Florist. I was a bit wary due to some of the negative reviews, but I was desperate so I took my chances, and boy was I EVER GLAD that I did! Sweet Pea Florist accepted my order for a last-minute delivery of a very substantial item and had it delivered ON Mother's Day well in advance of the start of the wake!! The floral spray was beautiful, full and very tastefully arranged. There were many comments at the service expressing how lovely it was, and the family of the deceased actually broke down in tears when they saw it. It made us so happy to have been able to provide some bit of beauty and happiness to an otherwise extremely sad occasion. Sweet Pea Florist made sure of that, helping us when no one else would, and we will be forever grateful! 3 stars cause the quantity of flowers seems right but the presentation was terrible. I ordered these online and didn't see them until my mother got them and I asked for a picture. Maybe if you're picking my up in store and can say errr that's not what I ordered but I wouldn't do delivery again. These were $45 and $65 total with delivery. I had a very large bouquet in a basket delivered to my mom for her 80th birthday. By the next day half of the flowers were dead, including the greenery. We spoke to ProFlowers and they ordered a new delivery. It looked like they were picked from a neighbor's yard. I paid over $100 for the first set of flowers, the second ones looked like they cost about $20 (maybe), and they were sent with NO VASE, the photo below is the replacement flowers in a vase my mother owns. There were about 6 blooms in the entire thing. Proflowers has never gotten it wrong before but I will NOT use them again if they insist on Sweet Pea Florist. read more

I've never had flowers delivered before that didn't last a week, but less than four full days after receiving a sympathy arrangement from this florist, what's left of it is dead. I say "what's left of it" as I had to dispose of more than 1/2 - 3/4 of it on the first day. A large, National pet company sent me flowers on the death of my dog, but like most of their customers, I have multiple pets. Many of the flowers in the arrangement I received are known to be poisonous to cats & dogs. Believing the florist would want repeat business from the sender, I honestly thought they'd want to know they shouldn't put these flowers in a pet-bouquet. Tried to call, but they don't pick up the phone. Their card says "if we ever fail to meet your expectations, please let us know," with a website address, so I sent an email to let them know. I received a callous response that they have "no control" over the contents of the arrangement; the sender picked it. In any case, I didn't ask the florist to "do" anything; I just tried to give them information, and was treated badly. Now the flowers that were safe to keep didn't even last a week. Poor customer service. Rude and unprofessional. Doesn't use cellophane on flowers! Left an arrangement at my front door with nothing on it and the flowers were wilting besides and not at all like the arrangement my family had ordered. I expressed my disappointment when I brought the flowers back to the store as I refuse to call it a florist. He says "We don't use Cellophane" and I said I never heard of that before. Whenever, I have received flowers, they had cellophane wrapped with a lovely bow or ribbon. With an attitude, they gave me a credit. I came back a few months later to get a small bouquet and he made sure he said "No cellophane"! I could not believe he remembered me and was so rude. Don't bother going there. She called them to let them know & they promptly picked the flowers up but I had to go through rings of fire to get them to agree to replace the arrangement. They would not. I received flowers for my anniversary and they looked like a 5 year old threw them together. For the vase that was given they did not cut the short enough so when I received them they were these tall lanky flowers in a small vase. Also some of the flowers were wilted and dead. Found this business on yelp, and it came up as the fourth option. After calling the first three, they were the only florist open on a Sunday. I Called at 12pm for a delivery for 2pm (a wake) and asked if they could make it happen. They reassured me they could, walked me through what was appropriate for a wake. When I arrived I to the wake, I did not see the flowers, but the next day I got a HUGE Thank you from the family (so they were there!!), and the family member said the flowers were beautiful and unexpected. Actually, better looking flowers at the neighborhood supermarket. Should have been a lovely bouquet of lavender and purple stock and roses but was actually a wilted combo. When I called to express concern, unpleasant woman insisted that that stock was SUPPOSED to look wilted and I guess the rose petals were supposed to be dried out and dying as well. Do not use this florist. I had flowers delivered to me at my 50th birthday celebration. They were dead, brown and thrown together with what looked like what ever they could find. When I complained and asked about the 100% customer guarantee, I was told that they delivered them to the restaurant early and the wait staff must have ruined them. Really the wait staff killed them and made them brown in two hours. Did the wait staff also mess up the arrangement and put flowers in it that didn't go together.
