It was absolutely stunning and amazing. The shower head was like a rainfall, the bed was two twins put together, must be an EU thing.It worked out. We ordered food and beer here. The pizza was to go, and it was fantastic. Service was polite and kind, and the view is to die for. I mean literally over the side of the cliff or mountain. It was fantastic. You will spend some money staying here, but well worth it. I went to climb to the top of schlithorn and they had some spare hiking poles for us. They had a laundry deal for you and a few other amenities for you. Even better, then water is spring fed from the mountain. You really couldn't ask for anything better. We liked everything we ordered . The iced coffee was perfect. Really liked the ice cream flavors, we got the mango,caramel and strawberry. Overall the food was flavorful and the portions sizes were good. One thing I do find strange is that once we get the servers bring the food, nobody ever comes to check to see if you need anything, they just disappear. It's not just this restaurant but almost all the restaurants we visited in Switzerland. I took a star off because of that. Once lunch was done, I had to go in and find them to pay for the lunch and leave. The servers are nowhere to be found. If travel internationally just use you Apple Pay or credit card to pay. You don't need to carry around local currency.

It was a 45 minute drive from our house and well worth the drive. The service is excellent and waits are moderate. Size of the petit was perfect for me. You can choose 2 flavors for each cone/cup. They have great outdoor seating for people watching and views of Lake Geneva. There is also indoor seating.

Service was a bit rocky in the beginning. All the tables seemed to be occupied and looked like they were short staffed. Most of the tables were occupied or haven't been bussed yet. I had to seat myself at a table from a customer that had already left. There was an existing cup of coffee. Staff came out and quickly cleaned my table and I gave her my order right away. Surprisingly the food came out like 15-20 minutes later. I devoured the ravioli in a matter of minutes. Come here if you have the time. It's one of the better looking restaurants in the town and a beautiful view!

My husband, two boys, and I visited this ice cream shop last night after dinner. First, they will…read moreonly give you one taster, which defeats the purpose of tasters. Then, we did not have cash on us and honestly didn't see the sign that said cash only. Normally, in our experience, when this has happened, the store apologizes and directs us to the nearest ATM. Instead, here, after my kids had ordered their ice creams, my husband went up to the register to pay with his debit card when he saw the sign...my husband said "oh cash only?" The man yelled back "yes there are three signs!!" He continued rudely. Every one in the ice cream shop looked at us. It was sooooo embarassing. My husband asked where there was a nearby cash machine, and he went to get cash. Meanwhile, they had only served one of my kids his ice cream, and my other son had to wait, watching his brother eat the ice cream while we waited for my husband to bring the cash. They did not serve the second ice cream while we waited. Obviously, my husband was coming with the cash. Overall, I do not recommend this shop. The man in the shop is ridiculously rude.
