Ice cream was BOMB. This place is actually located inside a Thai restaurant. I personally thought it was a little weird. In one part it's the ice cream and boba then it's a bar then around the corner it's hibachi. The workers were all young teenager which is fine but you couldn't get any alcohol or from the bar. Which is fine because we came for the ice cream, but if you came wanting some booze you'd be disappointed. You can also get a shot in your boba tea but you can't take anything out of the restaurant, so everything you get has to be consumed in the building. A very awesome experience. I had never even heard about rolled ice cream but enjoyed it immensely. The small cup is plenty of ice cream for a dessert. I ordered a large and decided that it was almost too much. Watching them make the rolled ice cream is an awesome experience as well. The staff was friendly and helpful. Three stars mainly because the lady working to make my daughter's ice cream was really giving it her all, regardless of the fact that it was close to closing time. We visited around 15 minutes before closing. There was a huge crowd. Most people were sitting at tables waiting to be called. You look at the menu or build your own combo. My daughter built her own, it was written on the bottom of the container, then placed in line behind 10-12 others who arrived before us. We found a seat and relaxed only to be told the restaurant area (it's inside of another restaurant), was closed. Many people were sitting here. We were told to move up by the benches, basically crowding 20-30 people in a small area. All employees were masked, but most wore them below their chin - zero protection. The employee who actually made our ice cream kept hers on the whole time and that was appreciated. The ice cream itself is fun to watch being made and my daughter enjoyed every bite. The bucket where tools/utensils are kept should probably be cleaned more often. The spatula splashing into a milky brown bucket of water isn't a good look. Blech. We may give it another try, but I've had no requests to go back in the two weeks since we visited. Again, kudos to this employee. She was working so hard after what has to be an exhausting shift. read more

Stumbled by accident on a place in Gulfport Mississippi called Sweet Rolls Sweet Rolled Icecream. Rolled ice cream? Had to give it a try! This was a real experience. The place was packed. The place appears to be brand new, just opened. Totally new concept. You order what you want from their huge menu board and they make it right in front of you. They actually put the ice cream in a liquid form on a frozen metal slab and they work the ice cream with metal paddles until it is frozen solid and then they spread it out and they roll it up. Check out the photos, it's hard to explain. And they add whatever kind of goodies you wish and form it into a Rolled Sundae. It was huge and yummy. The process is fascinating to watch. My daughter really enjoyed it. The prices are a little high but you do get a lot for your money. The place is very clean. There's lots of room to sit and enjoy your ice cream. The restrooms are very clean. Lots of parking out front. The employees were very friendly and willing to tell you all about what they were doing. This is a great new concept and I'm sure will catch on all over. read more

This place looks great! My wife and I had the grandkids on their last night in town, so we decided to go check it out! After hearing such rave reviews about all the flavors and toppings and fun assortments, who wouldn't want to go?! My grandson was so excited for the chocolate! We spent about 20 minutes there looking through the window at all the options, happy staff and picking out what we wanted. But when we went in to order, I forgot my wallet! Can you believe that? I would love to tell you what the ice cream is like but we drove a half an hour to get here after calling ahead to verify they were open to find them closed. Although everything online and their neon sign says open until 9 they were closed when we got there at 7:45. Update- someone from the store contacted me and sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. There is a lot to be said for good customer relations so I'll be trying them again sometime soon. read more

I estimate the place was less than half full, yet the wait was right at an hour to receive our order. (I notice they write the time on your cup when you order. Perhaps there's been an issue?) The receipt prompts a tip, which I hastily added the minimum 15% ($4), bringing my total to right about $30. The staff was cheerful and industrious, the product just takes tiiiiiime. We stopped in while visiting from out of town and we were not too impressed. The texture of the ice cream was not very good and I was disappointed in their COVID procedures. I would give this place 5 stars but the works are SOOOOOOO SLOW! I know it's takes a while and it's worth the wait, that's fine. The ice cream is GREAT!! So good!! But the works move like slugs. It would be different if you were waiting while they actually put pep in their step to get he next customer served. They have to clean the cold table and spatulas and that's fine. But it's shouldn't take 6 mins. That's ridiculous. Then to just SLOWLY walk here and there. Its takes 30 mins for one person by the time you wait order and get your ice cream.
