I came here randomly because my brows were on struggle. I was immediately told an appointment was required but they would take me anyway. That was nice. I learned it was black owned which results in extra brownie points from me. The esthetician was nice and she did a good job. I had never heard of this business but learned it was a chain. Well I probably should have checked prices because it was $28 for eyebrows and lip. I hadn't had my eyebrows waxed in forever. I typically get them threaded but again, I was in a rush. DO NOT VISIT. This place is a joke. I made an appointment for a Brazilian wax at 6:15PM. After fighting traffic to get here on time, I discover both parking spots in their lot are full. I park in a neighboring lot and walk to the front entrance, still arriving at 6:15PM. Upon entering, I saw one other patron sitting in the lobby, but no staff members. A staff member did not come out to the front until 6:33PM, nearly 20 minutes after my arrival. When the staff member finally came out to greet the three customers in the lobby, she asked who had made the appointment. I identified myself, and she said she could see me in 15 minutes. I told her I had to be somewhere at 7, which is why I made the appointment at 6:15. She said I could come back the next day, or she could call the Midtown location to see if they could take me. After I explained that I did not have time to be driving around, and added that I was leaving for vacation the following morning at 5:30AM, she said she wouldn't be able to see me. This location clearly has no respect for patrons visiting after normal work hours if they can't bother to staff the location with more than one person. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this location to my friends. Don't bother making an appointment. It won't be honored. read more

This Howell Mill location is ridiculous. I've come to this location a few times and have even referred friends here because I like the sweet samba chain. I've been there maybe 3 times and I've never been asked to leave a CC for a down payment. I made an appointment yesterday and today, while I'm in the middle of teaching 35 kids, I get a call asking to give CC information over the phone. I ask to give a call back in about an hour. Before my students could be dismissed I get an email stating that my appointment was canceled. I noticed the email while I was still and class and decided I was just going to call and deal with it later. My question is if you require a CC for a down payment, why not just set that up on your website so I can put my CC information in while I'm booking the appointment? All of the other locations have this system in place. Why not you? Instead of calling me while I'm at work and giving me some half apology when I call and discuss this with you? Now, on my day off tomorrow, I will be finding somewhere else to get my services done. read more

Literally destroyed my beautiful hooha , I have been working so hard to get her in order and on a wax schedule so that so my tone was evening out.. less bumps and Ingrowns (literally I was getting none) ... I go try up here because honestly I was being lazy to go to my regular waxer (regretfully)... 1.) I was charged $50 for a freaking Brazilian (never have I ever , usually pay that for my legs and Brazilian ) 2.) My girl is literally not doing good I have ingrown bumps popping up everywhere! I've been coming to this location for about 5 months and i will say that every esthetician I've seen is fantastic. They do a great job and are very knowledgeable. However, the girl who works at the front is absolutely terrible. So rude, very unprofessional. I called yesterday to schedule an appointment and she answered the phone by saying "do you have an appointment?" No greeting, no hello, nothing. I said "excuse me?" And she said "sorry, thanks for calling etc..." I couldn't believe it. I came in at 10:27 today for my 10:30 appointment, and the receptionist said "she's finishing up with another client." After not having been taken back 10 minutes later, I asked if it would be much longer. The receptionist said "well we took her back late so it'll probably be another 10 minutes." Would've been nice to know my appointment would be 20 minutes late when I arrived but I guess that level of customer service is out of her reach. THEN, my esthetician walked through the main front door (not the back of the salon) and said "hey are you ready to come back?" So the receptionist was lying. Cool. There are so many other instances of the receptionist being unfriendly and rude. As much as I like the estheticians, I will not be coming back to this location. read more

I can only say great things about this place and it's staff. Today was my first time there ever and I felt very welcome and comfortable immediately. My esthetician was AMAZING. I felt little to know paid for my Brazilian Wax and no paid under my arms.( if your pain tolerance is low, you may feel pain) but Shanna was very gentle and she is very skillful. Didn't have a service performed because the lady working (African American, fair skin, short haircut, red-blonde in color) was very rude and unprofessional for no apparent reason. You would think, it doesn't take much to be kind to someone that you don't know and who could potentially promote your business, but kindness is hard to come by these days. And I promise, her negativity was unprovoked. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. *Update based on response* 1. The business was closed by the time I was parking to go snap a pic for 3 seconds, so there were no customers. We watched the employee who closed the shop drive away as we parked in another lot, therefore it was not driving away any business because the business was closed. 2. It was the way the lady spoke to us. I had absolutely no problem moving my car, in fact we never exited the car and I instantly put it in reverse when she said we couldn't park. However, she was extremely rude and even used profanity because we weren't backing up out of the spot quick enough for her. The business sits right on the street and I couldn't back out into the middle of traffic but she kept bothering us to move. 3. I understand the reasons behind the business not wanting non-customers to park there and your belief that it drives away business. However, what will drive away business even more are rude employees. I would never come there for any service or recommend it to anyone based on my encounter with that employee. read more

This place is a little terrifying. I've been to the Inman park location many times without problems but this was different. I made an appt and when I showed up no one answered the door. I had to call a posted cell phone number to get in. It was only me and the clinician in the whole building and the room was a closet that was clearly being used for other things. I will say that the gal did a good job! She was experience and thorough but I won't go back. She should work elsewhere. read more

Will never come back to this property for lack of integrity. I have been consistently coming to this property for months. In their computer system, they keep a track of ALL of your visits. I forgot my loyalty card which entitles you to a free Brazilian after your 5th service, and was told by the front desk assistant to just bring it next time since she can see a history of my visits, I go in today to inform them of that and this girl refused to sign my card when you can visibly see a history of my visits. It's BS. This property is way out of my way and I ended up here on a whim months ago and continued to travel out of my way to get my waxes due to this loyalty card program they had, only to be refused!!!? Where's the integrity?!? This is poor customer service and shows no loyalty at all. There was no attempt to try and fix it or make it right. Just flat out no. God forbid you're human and forget a card that I don't typically use in ur everyday life. Uber disappointing experience to say the least and I will NEVER return here. read more

I plan to rate them low everywhere. I paid for a Brazilian wax and I'm left with patches of hair all over the place!! I should've known she had no idea what she was doing when she kept trying to rewax the same areas. I also told her it wasnt my first wax so I'm not sure why she let me leave with such poor work. So she did not tweeze any fly aways even after I requested it!! She was a short white lady at the front desk with black hair!! Run from her!! I'm thinking about skipping the franchise in the future.
