I came in for a $25 Brazilian. The price was actually $38. Why have huge advertisements about prices and not honor it? Also, $38 wax price only applies to first time customers. I will say this was the most painless wax experience I have ever had. Unfortunately, I still had little stubbles after my wax. I visited the Miracle Beauty Salon on Thursday 4/20 at 1130 I requested eyebrow threading and henna tattoo for my feet. The customer service was nice however both results of my services were disappointing. My eyebrows were done quickly and at first glance neatly done. However, after further assessment I realized they are lopsided, uneven and shaped differently. The actual henna design is very beautiful. However, two different henna products were used on either foot causing a very different color stain. I know the lighter one will darken but they are noticeably very different. The design on the red foot had started fading within 2 days of application. Any henna I've gotten in the past has lasted at least a week on my feet. The agreed upon price for the henna was $60 for the design I presented however, I was charged $132! I would have NEVER agreed to pay that had I known up front. I paid in haste, because I needed to get going. It seems like an even greater waste of money based the results of the services rendered. read more

I go here for my eyebrow and lip threading. They're sisters and work very well together. Always very professional and applying products to soothe your skin after. I'm writing this review because I like how they handled a conflict in front of me today while actually giving me a service at the same time. I called the next day to let the business know for their own knowledge and to ask for a refund for this one service, knowing that everyone has bad days and that I still planned to go back. Had a GREAT first time experience here today! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and asked what service I needed (lip thread). I signed in on a tablet and was promptly seated. My service was started literally less than two minutes after coming thorough the door! The lady did my thread quickly and seamlessly. At the other place I go to, once it comes time for me to check over - there are ALWAYS stray hairs and I have to get them to go back over. Sometimes, I've even had to finish up with tweezers once I get home! MY FAVORITE part about this experience was that the lady did what I asked, no more, no less. She didn't try to pressure me to get my eyebrows done, or my whole face threaded like e v e r y other establishment I've visited has done and I LOVE HER for that. I suppose when other places have done it, it's just "upselling", no different than the cashier at a fast food joint asking you if you want to make it a large, but it hits kind of differently when it's in regards to your appearance. (I once declined an eyebrow thread and the threader replied, "Well, you need it" under her breath!) Unlike my old place, there is no card minimum, so I wasn't forced to stop and get cash or buy needless items to bring my total to the threshold. While I cashed out, I was given a brochure and the lady talked to me about the other services they offer: waxing, henna, facials and hair. I come here specifically to get my BROW AND LIP THREADING (5/5) done. I appreciate the sign in process being easy and computer based to help keep track of who has services me. They also seem to do fairly well with COVID precautions asking everyone to sanitize on entering. All staff are of course masked. I don't know that they're sanitizing individual stations between clients but I felt very comfortable and safe with their precautions. PREETI is PHENOMENAL! The worst experience I've ever had. Walked in, the store was completely empty. I was pretty pumped thinking that I was going to be in and out quick, especially since I was on a time crunch. It was my first time here and was able to be seen as a walk in. They do take appointments, as well! My first impression is that the salon is clean and well kept. I always look for that in good salons. I don't like to see hair everywhere or products misplaced, so this salon being clean was a big plus. As for service, I suggest you ask for Priya because she is really good and quick. My eyebrows were in desperate need of shaping and she whipped them right back into shape. The cost of my service was really affordable so with threading and tinting it was about $19. I also like the fact that they offer a rewards program that gives a discount or free service after 5 and 10 visits. That's the kind of incentive that will keep me coming back for more!!! Worse experience ever!!! I usually go to my normal wax technician but I was out of town so I decided to go give this place a try.. the wax was super hot! I got burn multiple times and I did let her know but she only blew on it for one second n continued. She didn't pat the area after she was done so the pain n the sting kept piling up, I asked if she had a fan she said no n kept going. There was still wax residue on my kitty and back area. She didn't even prep she just went right in. I chose the least painful one but it felt the same as the regular one so that was most definitely a waist of money she asked do I wanna leave a tip because of her bad customer service I said No and she caught an attitude with me. I've been coming here for 3+ years. I used to get great service by two of employees (Sophie and Ruby) but unfortunately do not feel welcomed by the other employees (Priya and Naz). I had to bring in my toddler, who is very well behaved, a handful of times because I didn't have help but always asked beforehand if it was ok. Although they confirmed it was fine, they have been very rude to me ever since. They never acknowledge me as a customer and wait for the next person to offer services. If nobody else is available, they will provide me services but I do not feel welcomed. I was getting my eyebrows threaded when, Priya, the esthetician performing the service, suggested that I get them tinted too. Tinted?! I was completely hesitant. Not only was this my first eyebrow threading at this place of business (they've done other services for me *wink*), I've never had them tinted. I've thought about it, but never had the courage to do it (I can hear the cowardly lion from The Wizard of Oz repeating the word courage in my ear as I type). Priya was so nice to explain the benefits in tinting with henna. She said its all natural and can last about two weeks if you are careful not to place oils on your brows. She said she gets her eyebrows tinted too and promised I would fall in love. I said lets do it! She was very careful in applying the henna making sure she covered all the hairs. After a few minutes, she removed the henna with witch hazel and revealed perfectly threaded and tinted brows! She was right! I'm in love. $9 for the brow threading and $10 for the henna. One of the ladies made me check in like everyone else when I arrived. And even then 2 of the people who came after me where taken in first and I asked if they had any appointments I was told they didn't. I didn't know of any other eyebrow threading salon in this area so I had no choice but to stick there. The lady who did my eyebrows made is too thin when I clearly explained how I wanted my eyebrows to be. I'm glad it didn't take any other services from them. I scheduled an appointment to have henna dye put on my hair and I was refused service when I showed up. I am black and I have natural hair. I was told that "I do not do that kind of hair. I only do hair like my own." She comb her fingers through her hair. I stayed there 10 mins trying to make sure I was hearing this correctly. She continued to repeat the statement. I told her that I have had many henna treatments. She literally said "I do not do your type of hair". I left and walked back to let them know how this felt. She did not offer an alternative. She didnt offer an explanation. Maybe she was new. She just refused me service. I sought council from people that I knew. Called back to say that I'm not sure that you can deny me service that way. Then I was transferred to the owner. She apologized and began to explain that she has many black clients and that they love their black clients. I guess they love their black clients for threading but don't ask them to apply henna to your hair, which is a natural alternative. The owner said she would complete the service for me but by this point the harm had been done and the harm was bad. read more
