I thought it was weird, but it always hurts so it's fine, she told me my hair was really coarse and so that it's hard. Today my right eyebrow is in so much pain, but my left eyebrow is completely fine. I've never had this happen before and disappointed that this is a service I paid for.

Alvira is the best at what she does. I have been going to see her for eye-brow threading and waxing for a little bit over 10 years. She is friendly, compassionate, and extremely talented. Her wonderful energy and above and beyond experience makes her clients loyal to her. She used to work for another salon called Hair Images. That place did not match Alvira's amazingness. They would make you wait forever even if you had an appointment. Alvira always treats her clients like they are important to her. Her salon is very clean and I always feel welcome. The prices are great and I really would not go anywhere else. Now that her salon is a bit farther from where I live, that would not stop me. I would go anywhere to see Alvira. Bring your friends and ask for Alvira. She really is an expert and knows what she is doing. I leave happy every single time no matter what! I came here about a month ago with my very energetic 3 year old to have my eyebrows threaded. Priya worked around us which I'm sure was hard for her and still managed to give me perfect brows. She suggested a small change and I let her make said change yesterday and just when I thought my eyebrows couldn't get any better, no one's eyebrows can compare to mine now lol. I'm very serious about my brows too so I'm grateful I found Priya esp since I recently moved to ATL, it's always hard finding the perfect place. I also got a Brazilian with her yesterday and an underarm wax. Brazilian and underarms were done in under 10 minutes which was surprising and everything is smooth. I'll update later if anything changes because my recent waxes (not done here) have left me itchy & with bumps. So far, so good though. I'm going back for a facial with Priya today and will write a review about that but I LOVEEEEEEE her and am so grateful I found this place. Seriously. read more

This was my very first Brazilian wax & underarm wax. I had the pleasure of having a wonderful young lady by the name Priya to do my wax. She was well aware of how nervous I was. Yet, she reassured me of the products she was using, the process in which it would be done & guaranteed me that it would go smoothly. Her confidence gave me the courage to go thru with it. She offered me a glass of wine. ( which I happily accepted! Of course) Then, When in the room, she was so professional & polite & such a pleasure to deal with that I almost forgot that I was getting waxed. The whole process took only 15 minutes. I will not be going anywhere else to do my waxing. This was such a wonderful experience. My only regret is not meeting her sooner. This has changed my life! No more shaving for me! Lol. I've been going to Miracle for eyebrow threading and body waxing for 4 years and I will never go anywhere else. Alvira, the business owner, employs and trains only the best staff members. She is always eager to hear--and act on--customer feedback. Ruby is my go-to--fast and friendly. I love hearing her say my name when I walk through the door! Tina is also great--very thorough and sweet. But you can't go wrong: everyone who works here is professional and experienced, and the salon itself is fairly priced and very clean with the highest standards of sanitization. If you have sensitive skin or allergies, just tell them. They'll know what to do. I can't recommend this place enough. I went to miracle beauty salon around a month ago to get a Brazilian done along with their famous eyebrows. It was my first time going there, and I truly looked so intensely on yelp to see whom should I go to. I went to Elvira/Alvira, I'm not sure how to spell her name correctly, and she is PERFECT!! I am immensely picky, and I truly loved her. She is so sweet, quick, and perfect! I hate going to new people, so if she can please me, I know that there is so much she could do for you all as well. I am used to sugar wax, but Elvira sold me completely on their wax. It was quicker, less in-growns, and a lot less painful than sugar wax, and hard wax. Now, going on to her job with my eyebrows. The early 2000s were not kind to our eyebrows and I never thought I'd be able to recover until I started hanging out with an old friend in the city. Her eyebrows were perfection! I asked what she was doing and she said "It's Priya! I'll send you the info". So I went for the first time a few months ago and WOW. Priya is honestly a miracle worker! I've been once a month (per Priya's recommendation) for about three or four months now and Priya has taught me how to get them to grow and she's shaped them and made them similar. I was very nervous about getting my back waxed, never done it and was unsure of the process. I have heard stories of how painful it could be and the possibility of bleeding and leaving scabs. I set an appointment, the young lady was very helpful on the phone and eased me of my fears. I arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment, they got me in very quickly with no wait, offered me a glass of wine (which I took her up on in the middle of my waxing session) The young lady was very knowledgeable and genital with the process. I am a loyal customer to Miracle and RUBY is one of the best in the place (along with the owner Alvira)! They always greet you as you come in, learn your name (and then call you by that), they are reasonably priced and for the most part they do a very good job. I love going to Ruby because she is quick, efficient and knows exactly what I need without me having to tell her and I have some difficult hairs :-). I've gotten everything from just eyebrows to full face and with Ruby and Alvira (and previously Sue) the service was impeccable. So glad I found Sami at this salon! Sami started threading my brows in Douglasville well over a year ago. After she left the Arches I thought anyone with thread could do my brows. Boy was I wrong! The care for details, professionalism, courtesy , and consistency that Sami has can not be duplicated. I willingly drive 80 miles roundtrip past any other place in town to sit in her chair. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality threading, waxing and/or beauty services. I walked in about two months ago as a first time waxer and Raj assisted me with everything. She was very diligent and helpful, even giving me tips for what to do in between visits. Since my first visit, I have gone back several times. Getting an array of services (essentially all of my body parts have been waxed here at least once lol). I recently moved to Atlanta from Orlando where I had found my PERFECT eye brow lady (Rosa from Rosa's Perfect Eyebrow) and never thought I would find somebody who could compare. I was INCREDIBLY lucky to come across Sophie at Miracle Beauty Salon!!!! She is absolutely amazing. I just relocated from a different state and needed to find a permanent place for my eyebrows and Brazilian waxes...AND I FOUND IT....after reading the reviews I decided to try Pryia AND SHE LIVED UP TO THE TYPE!!! Very knowledgable...she got my eyebrows perfect...how like them...thick but shaped...I have very sensitive skin and I normally breakout with wax and threading but with pryia I had no breakout for threading...I went to another lady in the shop for threading and did break out but Pryia is absolutely amazing for threading and waxing...GO TO HER!!!!! read more

My experience at Miracle Beauty Salon was a very pleasant one, if waxing can be referred to as pleasant. I was apprehensive about having a Brazilian wax again as my last experience was pure torture but Jasmine was wonderful. I told her about how my previous experience had been a not so pleasant one and that I was searching for some place I could get a somewhat tolerable waxing done. Stopped in for a quick eyebrow cleanup since I was in the area. And did I ever regret it. It's pretty hard to mess up my brows and they did. I said to just keep my shape and do a cleanup, and when I looked in the mirror after they finished, the lady had completely ruined the shape of my eyebrows. Never again! Can't believe I just paid more than what I usually do at Hair Images and also got my eyebrows ruined. This is the only place I've gone since moving back to the city. The staff is gracious, accommodating, and super friendly, and staff is fantastic! I've been a customer since they first opened. I think Sue is awesome when it comes to threading eyebrows and mustache. Sue knows how to make any brow look beautiful and perfect. It is located on the second floor of the shopping plaza, inside of the Salon Lofts (next to Marshall's). Once you go in, look to the right, make the first left turn, and you will see their studio on the right. If no one is there, you can use the phone in the front, and someone will assist you. Mikala greeted me warmly and asked what I wanted to get done. I originally came for wax and tint, but ultimately decided on just a wax. She measured my eyebrows, told me that one was shorter and thinner, and that it was higher than the other. With each visit, she said she would take it down about 1/4 inch. I have NEVER had anybody analyze my eyebrows so closely! I've been getting my eyebrows waxed for 15 years, and they still hurt everytime. This time, it didn't hurt at all! She even gave me a spoolee, and recommended that I use castor oil to grow my brows out. Central to the highways 285 and 400. It's in a shopping plaza in the Salon Lofts - very convenient. There is also a receptionist who can advise where to go in case you aren't sure. If Mikala or the co owner is working, gently tap on the glass to let her know you're there and wait in the seating area to the left. Mikala did my brows and I was so happy! Very personable, great personality, and above all great customer service! She did advise about future treatment in terms of "brow training", what to expect after first visit, and booked our next visit within 4 weeks. I have gotten lots of compliments from my brows and I am thankful I have a new brow home in Atlanta! Looking forward to my next visit

The studio was clean, comfortable and super cool with the exposed brick and large loft windows. Jennifer was fun and easy to talk to about anything and everything. We easily hopped between conversation subjects while she painlessly microbladed and microshaded my brows. I literally felt nothing thanks to the numbing agent she applied throughout the service. At the end of the application, she handed me a mirror and I was over the moon with how amazing my brows looked. As someone who has always had sparse eyebrows..she gave me hairstrokes in the front and a shaded, powdery tail. Dream brows kinda brows.
