It took 40 minutes to get my ice cream when I ordered in store. They messed up twice even when I gave them my receipt they misplaced it... and forgot about it twice... poor system they don't prioritize in store orders only delivery orders and they don't seem to keep track of the orders that well. I've had sweet sip desserts so many times- in person and through uber eats! I've had rolled ice cream in green tea, Thai tea, cookies and cream, and coconut pandan/taro mix flavors. All were delicious! They have so many different toppings you can choose from- from fruits to different cookies to fruits! Im usually not a sweet ice cream person but I am always craving the Thai tea rolled ice cream... Craving some as I am typing! I've also tried their milk teas, butterfly teas, and coconut slush- all also delicious and have many other toppings you can choose from! AND the egg puffs are a must try! I've only had the coconut pandan and it's so delicious and perfectly sweet. Crispy on outside and pillowy in the inside! They put their rolled ice cream in styrofoam cups, which definitely helps it from melting! Sweet Sip recently opened on Dorchester Ave and I've been here twice since. They serve favorites like milk tea, smoothies, fruit tea, rolled ice cream, macrons and egg puffs. The interior is a sweet peachy pink and has dark wooden tables for groups. Board games are located on a shelf opposite the front door. The pricing for their menu is basically $4.75 for a regular drink + unlimited toppings (or $5.50 for a large). This is great if you love a variety of toppings. However, if you're like me and only want 1 or max 2 then it's not a sweet deal. (for a comparison point, Teado in Chinatown charges $3.50 for a regular). I wish there were lower prices for just 1 topping. So far, I've ordered their Jasmine Green Tea with lychee jelly + mango popping boba, Milk Tea with white boba and mango jelly, and a lychee smoothie with jelly. The tea and smoothie were all just OK. The first time, they got my order wrong and didn't put in popping boba. Instead I got their white boba which turned out to be really good! Not overly sweet and has a nice texture - one of my favorite bobas that I've had. I tried their rose lychee macron (made by Boston Bon Bon) and it was tasty! The filling's texture needs a little more work as it gushed out all over the place when I bite into it. They have premade egg puffs but I didn't try it. I prefer my puffs hot and fresh right out of the iron. Sweet Sip is new so they have a few kinks to work out. They definitely need a better system. Service is slow and they only have 1 blender so be prepared to wait 10-15 min if there are drinks ahead of you. The employees also didn't smile or look happy. Im excited to see new businesses open in my neighborhood! I hope Sweet Sip gets better over time. I'm looking forward to trying their rolled ice cream in the future. I usually come here and so do my younger cousins, but if they were to get treated how I was today. I would never let them go back. I called in about an uber eats order and asked to have some toppings changed. The staff on the phone sounded like she didnt even want to pick up to begin with and while I was still talking, cut me off and then proceeded to hang up the phone..... I think there was a situation going on in the store earlier but then resolved, so I dont know why she needed to be so nonchalant and rude? (AND even if there was still something going on or it was busy, it doesnt mean she should just cut a customer off and then hang up? What type of customer service is this? I got the Strawberry Shortcake Rolled Ice Cream, which was strawberries and nilla wafer cookies crushed up and rolled in ice cream. My husband got Banana Pudding Rolled Ice Cream, which was so refreshing! The banana was delicious. We had it delivered to our hotel via Uber Eats, which was a plus. I'm extremely dissatisfied and appalled with their customer service. My friend ordered her HOT milk tea which they put into a regular PLASTIC cup for COLD TEA. They did double cup her drink, however they didn't even fill it all the way to the top which was the catalyst for my annoyance towards them the entire night. I confronted them about it, however, their foolish excuse was, "She didn't order a drink with ice." Well...NO SHIT SHERLOCK. I stopped arguing with them about it after I heard the man say "I put the hot cups away to his fellow co-worker." They clearly DO NOT value their customers's safety and the presentation of the drinks. Also, I ordered their #5 Rose Lychee Tea, and there was way too much syrup in the drink.
