Plus, you get a mason jar to use for other things at home. The only downsides are it can be quite pricey, especially when purchasing for a bunch of family and it takes awhile. Every time we come here or in the area, we always order a lot for each cousins. Friendly servers in a small shop. Some seatings with tables available. Love this place for their fruit tea and coconut pudding. My recent visit the fruit tea just taste like regular unsweetened tea with no fruit taste. Maybe was just person making it but the previous 10x it has always been good. Even the coconut pudding was bland. Would have been 5 stars. Tried when first opened super cutesy concept. They are a bit slow making drinks anytime we've been in there even without a line, but the drinks come out well and tasty! I usually get Mango sago! The jars are good, i like the ube, wish they were the larger mason jars for the price but hey! Still think their items are pricey but I did enjoy the peach gum coconut jelly & mango sago drink I got today. They have a self order kiosk now, which is great. The jelly itself was refreshing and delicious. It was light and subtly sweet. However, it is on the pricey side at around $10 for one jar, and the jars seem smaller than before. I warn you now, this place is dangerous! If a jar of their coconut jelly didn't cost ~$10, I would probably be eating one or two daily! Even with the cost, it takes some combination of willpower and intentional forgetfulness to stop myself from coming in every day. As much as I love to be adventurous when it comes to food, I've kept it simple. I've only had the single and double layer variants. I did try for a mango-mochi once, though they were out of stock that day. Oh Ye produces perfection! The level of sweetness is ever so gentle and delicate. There is enough of it that one knows they're enjoying a dessert, yet not a bit more. The texture is creamy and rich while still being smooth and not overly dense or fatty. The coconut flavors are mild, yet present and noticeable. Nowhere near the yelling done by Almond Joy, not that there's anything wrong with Almond Joy! I've had countless delectable desserts, yet none where subtlety is their strength, until now. The flavors and textures whisper sweet nothings in my ears and I am 100% here for it! Now, these are not a cheap pleasure, but in light of the quality of product, I think ~$10 for a jar is not completely unreasonable. By the way, pro tip: the jars are very cute, and not taken back for wash/reuse. If you want to keep it, bring a means of transporting it home. Finally, the one complaint I have is regarding the menu. Coconut Jelly is something completely new to many, thus, I would have prefered the menu not describe single and double layer with word-for-word the same phrase. There are plenty of great bakeries and such in the area, but only one place making coconut jelly. I love sweetened carbs as much as the next guy - but if you want to try something different and amazing, run to Oh Ye! read more

They are not very busy so this is a great place to study, do some homework, read a book, or maybe a first date to talk and get to know each other! The restaurant is clean and cozy with cute coconut decorations on the wall, a few plants, and some playing cards and games (Exploding Kittens and Killer Party) on the side. Oh Ye's coconut jellies are SO good - they remind me a lot of the delicious coco jellies my mom used to make when I was a kid. The oreo mochi flavor is my favorite so far, but you can never go wrong with the original one either. The store itself is small, so it's better to order to-go. The only thing I would change is the price and the amount of jars I have just sitting at home from coming so often lol. Located in the Wollaston neighborhood of Quincy on Hancock Street, Oh Ye opened up shop close to a month ago, serving up an extensive variety of coconut jelly flavors with the main ingredient, coconut jelly, sourced from China. If street parking presents minimal to no open spaces, there's also parking around the adjacent residential streets for 2 hours. Our first time sitting down (second time ordering), the space isn't too small as there's enough room to sit and stand. As you walk in, the ordering counter is at the very end, flanked on the left by a bar-like seating area with stools and kiosks and the right with about a few small and medium sized tables. Step right up to the counter and you'll find the current available selection of coconut jellies - tonight (we arrived closer to 8PM) there were single, fresh coconut water, matcha, matcha red bean, Oreo, peach gum and coconut jelly triple. We ordered Oreo to try amongst ourselves and the texture of the coconut jelly compared to our first time taking out was inconsistent - lumpier and rougher as opposed to smoother. It leans towards the texture and abrasion of a pudding instead of a jelly. Although we needed to ask for napkins, we thought the service was quick and friendly - the individual who took our order brought his daughter (maybe his niece), who had a neat and fun time interacting with my cousin's son. I honestly don't think they added any sugar, because you can taste the authentic coconut flavor in every bite.
