Fresh Coconut Water Jelly
Caroline S.

It is yummy but I'm not sure I can justify $10 for a jar of coconut jelly! Though it is quite refreshing in the summertime.

Updating my review. This place is awesome. Delicious desserts. I always order the same thing each time, which is the Coconut Slushy. It is my favorite everywhere. I do want to comment though that they sometime do forget to put sugar in it, which may make it completely tasteless. So, be sure to tell them if you feel it does not taste like a dessert.

Tried when first opened super cutesy concept. They are a bit slow making drinks anytime we've been in there even without a line, but the drinks come out well and tasty! I usually get Mango sago! The jars are good, i like the ube, wish they were the larger mason jars for the price but hey! At least we get a good desert in an acceptable portion whilst being able to reuse the jar at home!

***Updated Review*** Today, after dinner, I was craving some refreshing and remembered there is a coconut jelly shop nearby! Last time I visited, I did not have the best experience. Still think their items are pricey but I did enjoy the peach gum coconut jelly & mango sago drink I got today. They have a self order kiosk now, which is great. Also noticed they have a lot more items on their menu. Like durian coconut jelly? I must try next time because I love, love, love durian. All the drinks they offer look very yummy. Glad I gave Oh Ye another try, they're pretty awesome! Note: they do take a pretty long time, to be honest, to make drinks. Ordered at 9:19pm & took about 15 min for a peach gum coconut jelly + mango sago drink. Good place to go if you're not in a rush.

Food was excellent, very tasty! Service was great. Great spot to go with friends or on a date.

The taste is not consistent these days, depending on who makes the drink, and even when the same person makes 2 of the same drink at the same time. Also, the wait time is always extremely long.

Oh Ye Coconut Jelly Double Layer 原味椰子冻二吃

I warn you now, this place is dangerous! If a jar of their coconut jelly didn't cost ~$10, I would probably be eating one or two daily! Even with the cost, it takes some combination of willpower and intentional forgetfulness to stop myself from coming in every day. As much as I love to be adventurous when it comes to food, I've kept it simple. I've only had the single and double layer variants. I did try for a mango-mochi once, though they were out of stock that day. Oh Ye produces perfection! The level of sweetness is ever so gentle and delicate. There is enough of it that one knows they're enjoying a dessert, yet not a bit more. The texture is creamy and rich while still being smooth and not overly dense or fatty. The coconut flavors are mild, yet present and noticeable. Nowhere near the yelling done by Almond Joy, not that there's anything wrong with Almond Joy! I've had countless delectable desserts, yet none where subtlety is their strength, until now. The flavors and textures whisper sweet nothings in my ears and I am 100% here for it! Now, these are not a cheap pleasure, but in light of the quality of product, I think ~$10 for a jar is not completely unreasonable. By the way, pro tip: the jars are very cute, and not taken back for wash/reuse. If you want to keep it, bring a means of transporting it home. Finally, the one complaint I have is regarding the menu. Coconut Jelly is something completely new to many, thus, I would have prefered the menu not describe single and double layer with word-for-word the same phrase. There are plenty of great bakeries and such in the area, but only one place making coconut jelly. I love sweetened carbs as much as the next guy - but if you want to try something different and amazing, run to Oh Ye!

It was quiet at first and didn't realize that all items were already premade so we ordered the standard coconut jelly in a jar. A little pricy but you keep the jar and the store itself is relatively small with a few tables to sit and dine. You can also order drinks as well.

Menu has lot of options. This dessert place caters toward coconut and tropical food. When you order the coconut jelly for Togo, they have it in glass container ( that you can bring home and reuse later on). They have street parking and it's a self server service cafe shop. If you are a fan of relaxing, chill dessert place where you can hang out with friends, and have jelly based desserts that are not too sweet. This place is for you! Ps: they also have a couple of board game for you to play ( exploding kittens, mystery party game and card games)

Strawberry Milk with Coconut Jelly

Super peaceful and aesthetic vibes! A very unique dessert cafe and it is definitely one of a kind. They are not very busy so this is a great place to study, do some homework, read a book, or maybe a first date to talk and get to know each other! The fresh strawberry coconut jelly uses real strawberries and it is like a strawberry milkshake consistency. I like the coconut jelly which is made in the container, and then you use your straw to break it up or you can shake it! It is a little pricey, but they do use real fresh ingredients and you get a cute recyclable container! They also have the coconut bowls that I have yet to try, so I will be coming back for it!

Seasonal watermelon x coconut milk surprisingly good and refreshing with little of coconut jelly and pudding.

Rocky W.

Warning! The desserts here are highly addicting! I love coconut so this was an obvious choice for me. The restaurant is clean and cozy with cute coconut decorations on the wall, a few plants, and some playing cards and games (Exploding Kittens and Killer Party) on the side. You order at the front and the rest is self serve. I highly recommend the Coconut Mango Milk drink and Mango Pomelo Sago Coconut Jelly. It was sweet without being too fresh and had an excellent silky texture. Drinks are served in fancy plastic cups and desserts in glass containers that can easily be washed and reused at home. My only complaint is that the portions are a bit small and the prices are steeper than other dessert places. Moreover, there is no public restroom.

Total amount charged

I got the signature coconut jelly single layer for a total of $9.58. The jelly was sour and totally inedible. Also, the size of the jar is smaller than before but the price is higher now. Before, it was a total of $8.50 for the same dessert. I kept a few of their old jars and compared to the new jar. It was not the same ounce size.

My favorite is the mango pomelo where you get a classic HK dessert combo of mango and coconut.

I happen to pass by Pastry Land and it caught my eye. Pastry? That sounded good. And a quick…read moreglance at Yelp yielded a 4.5 star rating. Coming in, I first could see the individually portioned rectangles of cakes and viennoiseries. No prices. That's actually a pet peeve of mine, as I dislike needing to take up the attention of a employee just to ask what the price is of something, in case another customer is behind me. Next, to the left, I spied their various baklava type sweets. But we are trying to eat fewer sweets, so initially I thought this might just be a reconnaissance visit. Further along yielded some savories. I pointed at and asked for one apiece of their chicken phyllo triangle (chicken briwat - shredded spiced chicken with sweet onion), the spinach flatbread (spinach herb cheese), and semolina pancake (Golden Pancake). These were pretty good. And service was nice. The sweets I picked up on another visit were poofy, but the filling ratio a bit off. Averaging out to maybe 3.5 in my book?

One would think a 1,000+ reviews in I'd gain some level of confidence! Yet, there are still reviews where I feel I am just winging it. Of course, I try to give my thoughts and opinions as best I can, still, I feel as though I were approaching 30 and can't believe I am technically an adult. This is the case with Pastry Land. I've been in here probably half a dozen times, and only now have I decided to put words on paper by wasting your time with irrelevant metaphors. ONWARDS! Pastry Land has great European style cakes and pastries. Their selection is wide and varied, and the quality is terrific! Everything I've had is distinct, scrumptious, and not over-sweet. Okay, great, so why four stars? Well, with the exception of a pistachio baklava square that knocked my socks off, I didn't find their goods were above and beyond sufficient as to drag me back with the same magnetism as Tatté or Flour (for e.g. - I know these are in different categories). They meet expectations, which is a solid four in my book. For some final notes: I feel that the value is fair in light of the quality. Also, the location itself is spacious, very clean, and the staff are friendly.

We walked into a simple, casual space with a bright, colorful interior that fits the playful style of the shop. The setup is straightforward and functional, with a row of yogurt machines along one wall and a large toppings bar in the center, making it easy to move through the process without much effort. It is the kind of place where the experience is built around customization rather than a specific signature dessert. The frozen yogurt itself was enjoyable and did satisfy the craving for something cold and sweet, but the flavors did not stand out as anything especially memorable. We tried a few different options and found them pleasant enough, though none had the distinctiveness that would make us specifically return for a particular flavor. The topping selection helped make the dessert more interesting, and having the option to mix different flavors and add different combinations gave us flexibility to build a cup that matched our preferences. The toppings were fresh and well stocked, and the variety across the selection gave us room to experiment with different textures and flavor pairings. The pricing felt reasonable for a self-serve froyo spot, especially since you control how much you want and what you add, and the ability to sample flavors before committing made the process more interactive and enjoyable. It is more about the customization experience than getting a specialty dessert. The shop also works well for a casual stop when you want something quick without needing a full dessert outing. The main thing to keep in mind is that the experience can depend on how busy the store is, and since it is self-service, the overall quality comes down to the cleanliness of the topping area, machine availability, and how well the space is maintained during peak times. Sweet Frog Quincy is a solid option for satisfying a frozen yogurt craving. The flavors were decent, the customization options were the biggest highlight, and the price was fair. It is not a place we would go specifically for a standout dessert, but it works well when you want a simple and customizable treat that hits the spot without overcomplicating the experience.
