My hygenist told me he wants to turn my silver filling into a crown. A crown costs over a $1,000 and there is nothing wrong with my tooth, it doesn't hurt, no throbbing, no cavity. The hygienist took x-rays, which they insist on doing every 2yrs, and the dentist Caitlyn Hoysock came later to check on the cleaning & do a exam. She pulls up the x-rays and points to a small whitish/grey spot on the x-ray and calls it a cavity. Dr. Hoysock said you need to have this filled. Schedule an appt and we will take care of it. All the cavities I have ever had were very dark on the x-rays & quite unmistakeable! This one could have been buffed out with the polisher, if there was one. They are scamming people. I wouldn't doubt if the last 3 small cavities I had were even cavities. Oh, and those toothbrushes they hand out have huge brushes. Whose mouth do these fit? Sounds like intentional gum/gingiva damage. Be warned! Oh and it is currently called Premiere Dental.
