Happy Saturday Adventurers! This place is amazing and super cute! They have a wide selections of items to chose from as well as already set recipes of the bowls. The bowls are defiantly deceiving since they look small they're filling and deep to hold a lot of the base product. I got the Sweet Palm which is kale based, with bee pollen. The bowl was so packed with good tasting items that I had at least 3 mouthfuls left, I was stuffed. Everyone was patient and very nice, letting me try the bases to figure out if I even liked açaí. This would be a great place for after the gym if they had a few more options for protein, other than Chocolate Dream smoothie. I did see that they had a Green Energy that may be a great option when I go there next. Finding gems like this in my town is hard and I am so glad they're here! read more

Its a good spot to go for dessert cravings as they serve many types of bowls. My favorite is the Pink Rainbow that is Pitaya with kiwi, mango, and pineapples topped with oats, honey, and coconut shreds. Oh, I'm so happy to see healthy eating options nearby home. The place is located in a strip area nearby Rita's, Papa Johns pizza, McDonald's and a gym. There's plenty of parking spaces. My family and I drove by here several times and finally, we stopped in and to my surprise, they also serve salad. You have options to order salad bowls that are preselected with the ingredients or you can build your own. However, because we just had dinner, we came to order açaí bowls but I'm definitely coming back next time for their salads, which looks delicious! Similar to the salad options, the ice cream aka açaí bowls aka fruitta bowls comes with preselected ingredients and all are listed on their wall as soon as you walk in this joint. You also have the option to build your own bowl. They also serve smoothies, which are all healthy fruit options. My husband and I ordered two açaí bowls and shared with the kids. The portion size is average comparing to other açaí bowl shops and it's definitely large enough to share for two but hey, I totally understand if no one wants to share when it's so darn delicious!!! This is my go to spot to treat myself when I have eaten well. This location is situated in a strip mall next to Rita's. The venue is cute, you kind of feel like you're in paradise when you walk in. I usually get the Sweet Palm or Pink Rainbow. I get extra granola and honey in both which makes it extra crunchy and dee-licious! The Sweet Palm is a green bowl. For those who are hesitant (like I was), you can't taste the spinach at.all., there is just a hint of banana but it not overwhelming. The Pink Rainbow is a pitaya bowl, it's really sweet and fresh. This review is for delivery experience. I had a few issues with my order: 1 - the food took over an hour to be prepared, and it didn't arrive till almost 2 hours later! 2- it wasn't exactly what I ordered. I ordered a custom pitaya bowl with, granola, kiwi, strawberries, and Mango, but instead received a bowl with two bases - pitaya and coconut. It was fine, but I was craving pitaya at the moment and had to settle for what was delivered. 3 - no napkins and spoon? How am I supposed to eat it? The bowl tasted good. I've tried another sweetberry bowl in East Brunswick, but I still prefer the offerings from frutta bowls and Playa bowls. In addition to fruit bowls, and smoothies, Sweetberry also has salads and wraps, unlike their competitors. I imagine actual take out and dine in would be a better experience than using a delivery service like Grub hub. Addendum- hours after my review, I was called by sweetberry and given an apology for the incorrect order. I think that's great costumer service! Still, my bowl wasn't made in a reasonable time. I'll leave the rating as is, but will review again after my free bowl. read more

I stopped at Sweetberry while passing through New Jersey and wanting something light for lunch. I got the Green Crush bowl which had their green base consigning of spinach, kale, banana, pineapple, and coconut milk. The coconut and pineapple flavors really came through to me and it was blended very smoothie. It was topped with a generous portion of granola, bananas, blueberries, hemp seeds, and almond butter. The bowl had a lot of toppings which I enjoy. While this was a positive experience and the variety of menu items and service were great I'm withholding the fifth star as I felt it took a bit long to get our items when it was not too busy and the restrooms were void of any soap or paper towels in both dispensers and there was no lock to the restroom either which was a bit uncomfortable. It's not often I give out 5 stars. This is my first time trying Sweetberry Bowls. I'm no stranger to the newly trendy Acai Bowl. So when I heard they were opening just around the block from my house I was beyond excited. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by two employees with a friendly hello and smile. The atmosphere is a tropical cafe. There's more than enough seating in this establishment which is great for people who choose to stay. The menu is located clear on the wall with just enough pre made bowls to choose from. My favorite part about this place is the option to create your own bowl. I was also pleasantly surprised to see they served salads as well. My order was immediately prepared and took no longer than 8 minutes or so. I had ordered a coffee and was able to serve myself and enjoy it while I waited. Another plus is that Sweetberry bowls is completely vegan. My customized bowl which contains acai base, granola, bananas, blueberries, mangos and peanut butter was PERFECTION. I absolutely recommend and will be returning. I've become addicted to these Acai bowl franchises that have suddenly appeared all over the place. I like all the ones I've tried and Sweetberry is no exception. The bowl is a perfect portion for lunch and packed with fruit. However, I prefer Sweetberry to their competitors because the fruit was finely diced making it much easier to eat with a spoon. Additionally, at this location, the staff were wonderful. I don't like bananas and all their bases included them. They made it for me without bananas. I didn't expect that. read more

I should've known this would happen when I saw no one wearing any type of hair nets and one out of two of the workers with a head full of hair out and everywhere. The person I was with got the beet wrap and he said that there were barely any beets in it and it lacked flavor. They were the only two girls working the store. After 30 long minutes, I finally got my bowl. The acai base was extremely watery like liquid and there was barely any almond butter which I requested. The girls were sweet, but they should not have been there alone as they needed more help. No one should have to wait that long for a simple fruit bowl.
