I couldn't decide what to surprise my husband with so I got 3 medium cups... filled them less than half way with froyo and then a wide selection of toppings... easily enough for a whole weekend of exploration! The Orange / Mango / Pink Lemonade pearls are amazing... great little bursts of liquid in balls thick enough to withstand scooping and travel. Both hot at cold sauces are available... Caramel and Chocolate are hot... Caramel, Chocolate, Butterscotch, Strawberry, and Marshmallow are cold. This is a fairly average make-your-own frozen yoghurt shop located in a plaza with tons of parking out front. They have a row of chairs in line out in front of the store but not any tables or anything. It's colorful and relatively clean inside with a decent amount of tables. They have around 10 flavors of ice cream, non/low fat frozen yoghurt. My boyfriend got a cup of PB, cookies and cream, and vanilla, and I got a cup of blue cotton candy, vanilla, and cake batter. It seems like the flavors rotate. They have tons and tons of toppings located within the store, from cheesecake, brownies, nerds candy, various chocolates and sprinkles. I thought it was a little odd to include bible quotes on the sprinkles, though. The small, medium, and large cups are pretty large, and I wish they had an extra small or made their sizes smaller. It's easy for the yoghurt to get more pricey, as they price it by weight at 52¢ an ounce. The employees were nice and they also have super fun color changing spoons! read more

This is a great new local froyo! After driving by several times with lines out the door, I finally ventured in, and committed to waiting it out. Glad I did, the line flowed quickly and the yogurt was great. I found their flavor and topping selection to be on par with what a froyo shop should be. This place doesn't go above and beyond, but delivers the product as it should. I found their staff to be knowledgeable, friendly and they helped. They had two people watching over the toppings and keeping everything in order and best of all clean. They had carpeting that circled the line and ran right up to the yogurt machines and topping bar...so the floors didn't get filthy from dirty customers as I've seen recently at other shops. I was pleased to see that they had several non-dairy products for my lactose intolerant brother, and those tasted great! $.42/ounce (July 2012) is on par with what you'd expect for this area, and the quality of product offered. I was surprised to see different sized cups available. Most other shops encourage you to take a large cup and instinctively fill it. Not here, there was still a small cup available, and of course our children filled their's to the point of overflow. read more

FINALLY! Froyo close to campus (Kent State - Main). Standard procedure; pick a cup, fill it up, weigh, and pay. They've got 8 different machines; 16 flavors, plus the option to mix, so a possible 32 flavors for your taste buds to choose from. At $0.42/oz., it's the standard fare (that I've seen in my froyo adventures). I was impressed by how smooth the operation ran since it had only been open for a few weeks. This is a pretty awesome place. I just wish they provided smaller cups for kids. When going out, I like to treat my kids to their own things, since they share everything at home. Sharing a big cup is not their idea of a treat and a big cup for each is a waste. They have great flavors, but not much of a selection. I greatly prefer Yogurt Vi when it comes to selection. Mmmm, Freezing cold yogurt! Very good! Aside from the atmosphere of a cute 10 year old girl's bedroom, (read: "hot pink and lime green everything") the overall feeling of this new place was great! I would have LOVED the decor about 15 years ago, haha. I have to mention, for those of you out there who dislike being out-ordered like I do...make your decision carefully. With countless combinations, you are sure to have slight regret about what you ordered. I went this past weekend, and decided to go for a chocolate/coffee theme. I put espresso flavor on the bottom, chocolate yogurt on top of that, and a little sprinkle of dark chocolate bits. It was delicious! However, we then went outside and I noticed that my husband and my sister both went for the mango/tart combo...and as soon as I tasted the refreshing zing of fruit and tart, ugh, I was regretting the richness of my choice. My instincts said chocolate, but I had instant "yogurt-eater's remorse". Should have gone for the crisp summer flavor! Choose carefully fellow yelpers! read more

Sweet Frog opened a couple (few?) years ago and was very fun. I started taking my kids there. Then I downloaded the app, which got me five free punches. But today when I logged into the app, I discovered that it had forgotten all my punches and said that I have never received or redeemed any. What? GONE. Here's a fun hint; log out of the app to see how many valuable coupons are current. There are 15 coupon offers, including $4 small cup (no weigh) and buy one get one free. Log back in to the app to discover that there are no current coupons valid in Stow. All the offers you saw are from other locations (e.g., Florida). Now I feel ripped off. What a worthless app that makes my experience WORSE instead of better. I'm done with Sweet Frog. read more

The only thing this place has over other places serving frozen yogurt is the opportunity to put as much in the cup as you'd like to serve yourself before laying on as many toppings that little snotty nosed kids have been running their fingers through to your heart's content. Went here for the first time last weekend, and I thought it was your run of the mill frozen yogurt place. Nothing special really differentiated it from any other frozen yogurt place I've been to. A couple of the machines were down, which was a bummer, and a woman had her dog with her in there, which I thought was a little gross. Those are why I gave it 3 stars instead of 4. Initially our family was excited to be getting a frozen yogurt place nearby. We went a couple of times and really enjoyed it. The product was tasty and the service was very good. We went this evening and for the first time my son was offered a super cute frog sticker. He happily took it and put it on his shirt. It took a minute, but then we noticed what it said next to the super cute frog. The "frog" in sweet frog spelled out "fully rely on god". Since when is religion pushed with dessert? As you can tell from this review, we aren't super religious people, but we aren't anti religion either. We support Chik Fil A. This is just a bit too overt and preachy for our tastes. We'll be going elsewhere for our frozen desserts. read more
