I get it's easy to hate on national chains. I understand. However, to me, Sweetgreen is the best fast-casual restaurant on the planet. I LOVE it. The staff at this location has always been warm and welcoming, always smiling. Infectious. Honestly, when I am craving a salad it always comes down to do I want a harvest bowl or should I risk it and try another salad. I always end up choosing the harvest bowl. It is perfection. Kale, warm wild rice, cooked chicken breast, sweet potatoes, chopped apples, and almonds. These items compliment each other like the 2004 Detroit Pistons. No real superstars but together, as a cohesive unit, they are absolutely unbeatable. I can't even think about a better salad being made. I have ordered four times. SG has gotten my order wrong twice. Below is the response from customer service and my reply: Fredy, I didn't ask Seeetgreen for an apology. I asked for them to fulfill their obligation to give me the salad I actually paid for. I don't want a five dollar coupon for a 20 dollar salad. Any business model that provides apologies in lieu of deliverables probably isn't great. What kind of food service doesn't offer to replace a meal that they got wrong? When you spend 19 dollars on a salad, the business selling it to you should be incredibly ingratiating. Instead, I just witnessed the staff mistreating my gf, being rude and condescending. I'm interning in NYC for the summer and we've gotten sweet green twice. I knew it was sort of a big salad chain but I really don't understand the hype. They barely give you enough dressing to give your salad any flavor, which is disappointing. The flavor combinations sound so good online and then you get the bowl and it's just mediocre. I got something with pickled onions on it and found a couple pieces of pickled onion skin, as well as the root stem part of a romaine lettuce heart. Pickup is easy and the place has a lot of nice natural light. I wish that CoreLife came to NYC because their salads are much better. Good for if you want vegetables without having to prepare a salad yourself. read more

They have an employee or supervisor/ manager I believe there name is Romeo Kitt. I asked a coworker of theirs and was provided his name. This supervisor talked to my friends with such attitude that it made us never want to come back again. the way he made our food was disgusting never saw him wash his hands. Ambiance needs work as well. when i asked for a manager he said he'll be right back and pointed to himself. when I made the report with HR nothing happen they kept him employed. My friend said they seen the same guy there when they tried to go again and that turned them right around. They went to a different sweet green location instead.
