Paint nights have been pretty popular the last couple years, and this is a twist on that. Saw the sign out on the sidewalk a couple months ago and followed them on Facebook. Of course being The Lion King fan I am, I saw this event of "Jungle King" and had to go. Went step by step how to pain Simba on the tree (the one Rafiki paints). It was a 1.5hr event for the 8x10, and we finished a little before that. The owner was amazing, has a great sense of humor, and overall very helpful in completing your masterpiece. The establishment itself has a lot of paintings on the walls, beautiful and creative-- that you could decide to do during their business hours. Literally, during their hours, as long as they do not have a class going on, you can come in, grab a canvas and some paint, and paint whatever your heart desires. They will be around to help if you have questions (they do not paint it with you but can offer advice etc). Or, just paint whatever you want! The possibilities here are endless! For their events/classes, find them on Facebook!! They usually have something every week. It was very easy to RSVP online and pay for the tickets (which was $10 for 8x10 for this particular event) and the price is VERY reasonable!!! They get sent to your email, then you just show up on the day, give them your name and # of people that are going to paint, and paint away! They also have the option of calling and booking a private event for up to 30 people. This would be a great ladies night out or a fun way to spend time with friends, family, or co-workers. I will DEFINITELY be back here again, can't believe I didn't try this sooner!

When I asked for clarification on the terms we had agreed to (set up, room flip assistance, tear down), she suggested I hire a decorator for help. One of the best things we have from our wedding is the photo booth photo book with notes from everyone who attended. We also got a flash drive with every single photo that was taken.

A kind employee offered to have them remade, and we gladly accepted. However, the replacement order was made incorrectly, and at that point we decided to simply eat what we were given. While both Grace and Emily provided outstanding customer service, the issues with the ice cream unfortunately put a damper on the end of our visit. As visitors from Oregon, we were excited to compare the experience to the Tillamook Cheese Factory. The visit started off wonderfully thanks to your staff, but the ending left us disappointed. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but in our opinion, Tillamook still holds the edge.

I've taken various friends with me over the years. With COVID this year, you weren't allowed to bring your own bucket, but this was ok because I usually buy their boxes anyway. I like that I can use them and recycle them. Earlier this week, I spent about 2 hours picking strawberries and walked out with about 17 pounds. I was able to make jam & jelly, as well as save some berries to go with strawberry shortcake. The prices are reasonable at $2.95/pound for pick your own and $5.75/container of pre-picked berries.

Today's strawberries were on the smaller side but still sweet. Gathered up over four pounds of berries to make fun concoctions, mostly jelly. Since this wasn't the start of picking season it took about five mins for me to really find some that were worth pulling. In my experience, many were along the irrigation pipes, and the larger ones were covered (shades) with thick green leaves. Tip: Contact or follow the farms social media for key picking times and confirm picking is available before you make the hike to the area.

Perhaps they changed the rule? I dunno I came to eat some serious popcorn but ended up sticking to the freebie boxes that Soin Medical Center was handing out. Who can resist free popcorn? Not I. Soin also had a really neat demonstration of robot guided surgery. Incredible!! Overall, this festival was a lot of fun. There was something to do for the entire family...eating and shopping, what more can you ask for???

It was great to meet one-on-one with him a couple times before our wedding to go over the order of events and important details. His communication skills are on point and he followed up with us days before when we realized we forgot to submit last minute details. He made everything come together. He has a genuine interest to make sure that things run smoothly. Not only did he play exactly what we asked him to play and followed a strict do not play list, he was an incredible Master of Ceremonies. My best friend who gave a speech coordinated with him just a few hours before about syncing about 7 songs into her speech with cues, and he killed it. I had no prior knowledge of this, and it speaks to how accomodating he is and how he can make anything happen! To be clear, Brian Harris went above and beyond in all aspects. We wish him all the best and hope you make the right decision when picking a DJ, because is Brian is the best! Don't waste your time with anyone else.

These were both agreed upon that they would be done in our pre wedding meetings. He is spinning words to justify his actions but the bottom line is that he also approached the bride and groom and ended our wedding 30 minutes early. Be prepared to make your entire playlist from cocktail hour, dinner thru the reception. YOU will pick every song and he will play them like an ipad. (The follow up call) Obviously I am appalled at the above and I wanted a follow up phone call to discuss. Our phone call could have been 10 minutes. I expected Brian to be a professional and say 3 things. I'm sorry. I should not have omitted things that we had agreed upon nor should I have approached you to end the wedding early. How can I make this right? Instead Mr. Harris chose to handle the call in the following manner: He spoke for approximately 35 minutes about why these complaints of mine are petty, small and irrelevant. He discussed how he has proof via pictures that I was dancing and happy. Then he went on for awhile that a good bye circle and exit dance should not matter to me. In a nutshell, he had total disregard to what we had wanted for our wedding. I am standing firm on my 1 star rating. The way he handled our follow up call is inappropriate and unprofessional. I don't think my concerns are small and having a goodbye circle and song was very important to me. Ultimately Brian does what Brian wants to do. Not what the bride and groom want. He makes no attempt to make a wrong right. Overall, I am unimpressed and disappointed with his service.
