I ordered a marble cake with raspberry filling for my husband's 40th birthday party and it was a hit. The flavors were amazing and the decor didn't go unnoticed. All the guests were in love with the space theme cake. The service was great and the owner of the shop was very sweet. I definitely recommend this place and will come back for more.

I saw amazing reviews and the work of these cakes online and decided to give them a try to make a cake celebrating my husband's vasectomy. I sent over a few examples from Pinterest and gave creative control to the staff. They were professional responded fast via email, and did a wonderful job. The cake was delicious and moist although I do wish the icing was a bit sweeter overall it was wonderful. I will be purchasing any specialty cakes from here on from Sweetland Cakery.

The picture does it no justice. The cake was a showstopper. She even suprised me with adding a rotating feature to the vehicle at the top. It spun 360 degrees the entire event. Tandis was very pleasant to work with. She made my vision, reality. Tandis is by far one of the best in the industry. Can't wait until my next event!

But really, I was just thinking at 5pm on a rainy Friday "I forgot to order the cake" for my son's birthday the next day! I glance over to the next strip center and see Sweetland Cakery. I had went to another person for a cake and that person bailed on me 4 days before the surprise birthday party I was throwing. I had to find someone last minute. I searched on Instagram and found Tandis. I emailed her and she responded promptly with price and info. I needed a cake that could feed 25 people and 24 cupcakes. She just bailed on my son's 1st birthday cake. I spoke with her on 10/13 regarding the cake, design and date of the party. She asked for $100 deposit. Made it today, 10/16, and she sent me a text saying "so sorry but someone else booked the last availability today". She had my number, she never once contacted me or texted me that someone else is interested in the same date. But she sent me a text within minutes of receiving my deposit. Very poor business practice, and now I am stuck with trying to find someone to make my son's cake with less than 2 weeks to go. Will never go with this place again. read more

It was late in the day but the laidback decorated space was packed, music not too loud with a pleasant vibe. I asked if I could get the pistachio dream with oatmilk and the server recommended against it saying it would make the drink too sweet. I appreciated her honest advice and got the dragonfruit strawberry refresher instead. It was definitely refreshing with the perfect amount of ice to keep it cold but not water it down. I also tried one of the mini croissants which is probably what will keep me coming back. Flaky and full of high quality cheese and spices, I wish I had gotten two! My daughter was anxiously waiting to celebrate her 21st birthday with friends in Europe while studying abroad. The pandemic changed everything. She had to be quarantined in Houston. The very last minute I started looking for a place to order a cake for her. After checking various bakeries online, going through their designs and description, I decided to call Sweetland Cakery. As soon as I started talking to Tandis I knew that I chose the right place to order from. She was extremely patient while I was brainstorming the design and very helpful with suggestions. The cake exceeded all expectations! It was not just beautiful but also unbelievably delicious taking into consideration the fact that I am very picky. i am so happy with how good our wedding cake looked and tasted. Sweetland Cakery copied EXACTLY what we wanted and couldn't have made a better tasting cake.The artistic design of the whole cake was amazing. Our cake tasting appointment was wonderful as they were really accommodating with us choosing what flavor to go for and they couldn't have been more spot on. Sweetland Cakery is the go to place for custom made cakes. We ordered a cake for a 60th birthday celebration. Tandis was great in helping us design a cake that would be feed 25 guests, and stayed within our budget. Customer service is great! The cake was fantastic! It was moist, tasty and no super sweet.
