I've been going to Jeannine for almost a decade and can't imagine going to anybody else. Jeannine is incredibly patient, intuitive, and talented. I used to send her a bunch of photos because I couldn't decide what I wanted. She knows I don't understand hair talk, so she asks me questions I can understand. Today, I don't even answer her questions. I just tell her I trust her. She understands what I like even though I am terrible at articulating it. When I'm feeling adventurous and want to do crazy colors, she does a phenomenal job with color. True story: Even my coworkers can see it over Zoom!! The owner canceled then remade the appt and then after waiting almost a month to get my hair done with an appointment canceled the day before, in this business industry constancies is extremely important, although the first experience was great the second experience was disappointed and unprofessional. A salon must be dependable, if not then why make appointments in advance, found a great salon with professionalism and a precise calendar for which they have kept every appointment. If you had Covid then why were you at the Salon with a different customer, Please don't use the Covid to state you miss an appointments I accept that at the time Then you canceled again? And you canceled again, after waiting all that time then you referred me to another salon, Be honest you don't want to work with a client then don't make appointments and have them waiting over a month, the positive out all this is that thanks to your cancellations I found an outstanding stylist, I was not going to write all this but you responded with an untrue so I have to describe what happened. I LOVE Jeannine. When I first started going to her i had this HORRIBLE mermaid, overly layered, bleach blonde hair-- it was AWFUL, like meth-head meets victoria secret horrible. I didn't like it, I do have good taste, it was just a slippery slope where my last hairstylist incrementally got worse and worse. My first appointment with Jeannine, she suggested making a change which I jumped at and each appointment since then I basically sit down and say "I'm tired, do whatever you want". I have this adorable short blonde blunt bob now that is AMAZING, I seriously love my hair-- and so does everyone else. Literally people come into stores and say "I saw you outside and had to come in and tell you how amazing your hair looks". Absolutely loved my experience here at Sweetroots! My Stylist/ Cosmetologist: Brandi was amazing! I went in to get a silk blow out and ended up getting a really cute haircut afterwards. I have not had my hair straightened in almost 2 years and was a bit nervous having someone touch my hair as the last shop I went to left me with a bad experience. That was not the case here at all. My hair was bouncy, soft and silky. She took her time, answered my questions and was gentle on my hair the entire time. She cared about the health of my hair as well as my satisfaction. Once Jeannie ensured I was comfortable with the plan, Adriel shampooed my hair. I got a cut by Jeannie, then both ladies dried and styled my hair. She will train you how to style your hair the way she does it, coaches you on the best hair products but never pushes you to buy anything. Her hair cuts and styles are not only awesome but they are the fastest I've ever experienced. I can get my hair colored, cut and styled and be out the door in around 1.5 hours. Amazing! Keratin treatment was a success. I decided to do this treatment before leaving on my trip. I have A LOT of hair which can get pretty wild & takes me about an hour to blow dry & hours to air dry. Jeannine is the BEST!!! I met her a couple of years ago when she salvaged a haircut disaster... I'm an Aries, and it used to be that when I wanted a cut or color, I wanted it THAT DAY and would go wherever they could take me. Jeannine changed me, though... I love coming to Mio to see Jeannine. I've been coming to Mio since late 2013, but I was hesistent to make an appointment this year in Feb after an orangey ombre balayage I received in 2014. I decided to give Jeannine a shot. I've had 3 sessions with her and I'm finally the ashy blonde ombre I've been hoping for! My hair has so much dimension, and her cut is extremely flattering.
