When you combine the words homemade and ice cream - I have to try it. Although the flavor selections are limited to around 8-10, the quality is very good. Of course my kids tried Birthday Cake and Chocolate Fudge and reported them delicious. My mother had butter pecan - the pecans were toasted and the base had a nice creamy, buttery texture - the color was a beautiful golden. The pineapple ice cream was very refreshing and had a pleasant iciness to its texture. The four of us had ice cream for $12 - I think that was a great deal! Really nice owner who is great with kids. One scoop of ice cream in a special cone was $7, and a mocha with almond milk was $8. I'm willing to pay this when the flavor is there, but I was disappointed here. Last up, service! When I went, there were two employees; the woman was very sweet and nice, but the man appeared somewhat annoyed, but he could have just been tired. Unfortunately, we did run into the issue of one of our orders being forgotten, and we waited a while to get it. However, they apologized and fixed it promptly when we asked about it. Overall, I wouldn't return here, but perhaps I just ordered the wrong things as I know some locals love this spot.
