Solid local coffee shop, the staff is very friendly and eager to help, the white chocolate raspberry scone had a crunchy outside and super soft gooey inside, very delicious. The luck of the Irish mocha is the most delicious holiday drink I've had in a while. The combos go together so well and it tastes exactly as it sounds. Overall, highly recommend stopping by.

Adorable affordable Great coffee, fun latte options, delicious baked goods, really cute craft items for sale, and the plants! They have great plants in really nice pots for reasonable prices, and a greenhouse out back with more. There's plenty of searing inside, and on the front porch and the back hidden garden area. I would actually drive 90 min to visit this place again. The girls working were amazing and super helpful, they knew their coffee and their plants. read more

Yay! Matcha is on the menu this summer:) they have sweetened and unsweetened versions (unlike Starbucks). Support your local coffee/tea shop and pick up a few plants. Lots of cute succulents and house plants in fun containers. The staff was all smiles and very friendly which sadly is becoming rare at retail. I will be back on my next trip. read more

This is such a lovely place! We found ourselves in Shelby yesterday and spend a couple hours here, drinking coffee and tea and relaxing on the front patio which they very kindly opened up for us (we had our dog with us). The coffee was excellent and very nicely priced; there were beautiful pastries we didn't partake of but there was also a good selection of beautiful chocolates which we DID; I took a mug of iced coffee home with me on the drive back to Atlanta and it didn't start to taste bitter the entire trip back and kept me awake nicely. The service was amazing. The lovely young woman on staff advised which bean coffees people liked after first asking if I like dark or light roast, and she was so accommodating. What a wonder find. We stopped by here on a whim on our way back to Charlotte from Knoxville. We were pleasantly surprised with this little gem of a coffee shop. The barrister was pleasant to chat with and made us some excellent lattes. If I lived closer I would visit more -- or perhaps on our next trip out of town! Quality coffee and nice seating areas. Hannah's is now my favorite coffee shop in Cleveland County! This is such a comfortable place to get a cup of coffee and a baked treat. None of the other local coffee shops make me feel as comfortable, as far as clientele goes. The vibe here is just what makes me feel good about relaxing. THIS place is what Heaven will smell like at breakfast, just add bacon!!! We ordered the Almond Joy over light ice, Butterfinger Frap and a Strawberry Cream pastry. The drinks tasted EXACTLY like the bars they are named. Hannah very kindly directed us around the pastry case, all baked fresh. It's a pleasure supporting small businesses but even more satisfying when the product and customer service is top notch! read more

This is a very good coffee house, reasonably priced and very friendly owner and staff. If you are in Shelby looking for good coffee then you should try this place out. They also have a nice area for hanging out, indoors or out. I would like to also thank Hannah for her hospitality. We were there all day working on a project. I just wish she were closer to my home that way it could be a regular stop during my day. I will definitely stop by when in the area to get coffee. read more

On my most recent visit I ordered a half dozen of cupcakes. We ordered two peanut butter, two cookies and cream and two vanilla. I ate the cookies and cream one. It was seriously the most delicious cookies and cream cupcake ever created. The cupcakes are freshly frosted at each visit so the cookie and cream topping the cupcake was soft accompanying a very moist cupcake. I highly recommend visiting the Cupcake Corner next time you're in uptown Shelby.

The Hive is the best! Always great coffee in any of your favorite ways, hot cold, blended, straight, whipped cream or not they got it all. Even will create a custom order if you want. Staff are welcoming and helpful locals. So if you're looking for local spots or suggestions they have it. The seating is comfortable and can handle a small group. Even some outdoor seating around the corner. This location is right next to other great eateries too and just a block from downtown so you can easily walk to it. Anyway stop the corporate greed, hit up a local favorite and support these hometown baristas.
