I was initially hesitant about trying this place due to the low number of reviews and the lack of food photos--both of which are usually important factors for me when picking a restaurant. However, with limited options for breakfast at the time, we decided to give Sweetvine a shot--and it completely exceeded our expectations! My wife and I stopped here for breakfast on our way to Crater Lake from Eugene, and we were blown away by how good the food was. We ordered the Beamer sandwich, French toast, and a Danish pastry--all of which were fantastic! The service was also solid. As others have mentioned, the place is quite large, which can feel a bit unusual at first since it doesn't have that typical cozy vibe, but it didn't feel impersonal or cold either. In fact, the built-in sofa seating made for a very comfortable spot for a group of four. Overall, Sweetvine is a must-visit if you're in the area. We couldn't have been more pleased with our experience, and I can't recommend it enough if you're passing through or in Oakridge!

Make sure about to miss out on Sweetvine.

I am here is Oakridge visiting and this place became my GOTO for a delicious breakfast with great coffee and excellent service always with a smile! I am hopeful that on my next visit this small business owner has grown into serving dinner. What was my favorite ? Her savory scones and Beamer breakfast plate!! The ambience is minimalist but the personalities hare big. See you next year!

Needed some breakfast for a rood trip and found this place in Oakridge. Ordered a breakfast burrito and a veggie breakfast burrito. Super fresh and oh! So good. The gravy in the breakfast burrito was the magic! Thanks you guys, well have to work you in on our way back.

We were seated immediately, and our coffee and waters showed up almost instantly (always a great sign ). The place is a bit dated, but in a charming, homey way. I actually loved it -- cute decor and even a small jewelry area to browse while you wait... although "wait" might not even be the right word because the food comes out fast! My husband went with the chicken fried steak, and I ordered French toast from the light menu. We usually split a meal, but today we leaned into both sweet and savory -- and I'm glad we did. Everything was delicious, no complaints at all. Service was quick, friendly, and on point. Our coffee cups never hit empty, which honestly deserves its own gold star. Would I return? Absolutely. This is one of those spots that feels like a local favorite for a reason -- and now it's one of ours too.

Today I got the bacon and egg sandwich on ciabatta, the turkey special (which I took home for lunch), a croissant, a cinnamon roll, and an Oregon hazelnut sticky bun. The egg sandwich was so good! I was worried the bread would be too hard because I've had hard ciabatta in the past that cut the roof of my mouth but this was perfect. The sandwich was perfectly made and tasted delicious. They have some locally-made goods that you can also buy. I was tempted but didn't get anything this time. I do like that they sell local stuff though. The man who helped us was very nice and friendly. Our hot food came out pretty quickly given how busy they were. You get a beeper when you order something from the kitchen and go up when it goes off. There are a few parking spots right up front but they were full today. There's plenty of street parking so you shouldn't have any issues finding somewhere to park. They have a bathroom inside but I didn't use it. It's not coded though which is nice. The bakery is clean and easy to move around in, even when it's packed. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. It's a great place to stop on a road trip!

We just wanted to stop by somewhere to get food before we lost signal and we stumbled upon Lion Mountain Bakery from following the signs on the road. We were surprised to see what was inside. Around 11am there was a performer singing some sweet neologisms. There were also lots of art that you can purchase, some books that you're able to check out. I'm guessing this is where the people of Oakridge come to get work done because there were ample seats and WiFi set up. In fact, there were a couple people getting work done when we got here. What we got: Breakfast burrito $9 Breakfast sandwich $9 Shriek breakfast sandwich $10 Quiche $6- goes well with ketchup and green Tabasco sauce Triple Timber $6- specialty drink that has: hazelnut+caramel mocha with 3 shots of espresso The Roaring Lion $5.5: vanilla chai tea latte with 2 shots of espresso. There were also affordable baked goods like cookies, scones, abs brownies depending on what you're craving. I read a review that someone mentioned it took a while to get a sandwich. The lady at the front mentioned that there would be a wait time of 30 minutes because they had a limited space at the grill- so it was nice we were warned beforehand. Stop by here for your road trip meals and snacks :)
