Our Furnace went out unexpectedly on a chilly Wednesday in early February. We needed to find someone to help quickly. We tried calling a few places, some never called back, but Swenson was there for us and returned our call within 30 minutes. They arrived early (they asked if that was OK) and provided space heaters to us at no cost while they looked at the problem. At a minimum we needed a replacement part, turns out the closest one was 40 minutes away. They were willing to go get it and come back to install it with no charge to go get the part. Our furnace was very old but they did not press or push for us to "just replace it" as so many other places do. We decided on our own it was a better idea to get a new unit and they got a quote for us immediately and explained the options. They offer financing and walked us through that too. They were back to install the new furnace two days after the initial service call and they let us keep the space heaters to use while we waited on the install. The install was done in about 7-8 hours including their lunch break and unexpected parts run since the new unit had a malfunctioning part out of the box (the 2 stage gas valve, NOT their fault). Many other shady companies may have not tested this part at all but Swenson did and ensured it was all working perfectly the first time. You can tell they really care about their customers. They are a small family run business you should definitely consider if you need any service to your HVAC equipment. We will have them back again should we need anything else. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Our AC went out yesterday when the high was over 100 and we couldn't find an appointment for over 2 weeks. I saw a recommendation for Swenson on our neighborhood Facebook page, and called them about 5 minutes before their end of day. They were able to get our house in as the first appointment of the day today. Our tech Joshua was incredible. He is 4th generation Swenson, and really knows his stuff. Our AC started out seeming like a quick fix, but in fact was really tricky to fix, but he was really patient and went through every part of our wiring with a fine tooth comb, fixing things as he went. His patience and positivity never wavered, and he was meticulous in his work, and had a great wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for his work and the company. The price was extremely reasonable, a better deal than I've seen almost anywhere else, and the company really works together as a team. I am so thankful we decided to call Swenson. Swenson have performed 4 installs for me. One furnace (A Lennox), one central air (Lennox) and two shop heater systems (Reznors). On all 4 occasions the installs have been efficiently performed and of high quality. All 4 units are performing faultlessly. I had a minor issue with the house control thermostat, which failed about 18 months after the install, and Swenson stood behind it and got the problem resolved at no cost to me, ultimately installing a higher value unit at no charge. They come out when they say they will, and for those emergencies they are there quickly, in the evening hours if needed. The techs are really pleasant and polite, and they clean up properly after install. I will keep working with Swenson for my HVAC needs. read more

Swenson Heating & Air Conditioning did a great job! Our furnace just stopped working last November on a very cold night. Most other furnace companies told me it would be at least a week if not 2 weeks before they could order and get us a new furnace installed. We had a whole system upgrade. Swensen's showed up the day we called since he was in the area. Went over all our options, and let us know what we could do and should do and what we didn't need to do. They did our new home, our basement when we finished it, and have had them out several times for various things, one of which was a repair in a 100+ degree string of days.
