    This company is BS. They rented me a house with cockroaches. They even admitted it, but they called…read morethem Palmetto bugs. Prior to finding the bugs outside I squished 2 in the house, I was a little weirded out but decided to roll with it. After looking around the house it was dirty, the counters were sticky, dishes that were dirty were in the silverware drawer, plates in the cabinet were dirty. The pot holders looked like they had never been washed. When we saw the multitude of roaches outside we bolted, before we even unpacked. The Cool Story home needs an exterminator. Heck maybe the entire company needs an exterminator to put it out of everyone's misery. So disappointed The company has declined my refund....... Frickin' cockroaches carry at least 66 different diseases. Go do some research.

    We arrived at the house and everything REEKED OF DOG PEE. We went room to room and noticed a dog…read morehad peed on just about every single rug it was DISGUSTING! We contacted them and the next day The company offered to have the house cleaned AGAIN and sent over the same ladies who failed to clean it correctly the first time. They advised me that "the prior guest was a 2 week stay with a dog (who apparently peed all over) and they spent over 4 hours in the home trying their best to remedy what they could on the Sunday turn after the guest checked out to make it as ready as possible for you. The rolled up rugs in the kitchen was accidentally left behind by the inspector, who was absolutely mortified she forgot it when we asked her about it." (Rugs that were covered in pee and also left other rugs around the home with pee on them) They also sent over a maintenance person to clear out the COMPLETELY unusable fenced in dog area that was covered in weeds and pickers. Also almost every fence post is worn/unnailed and the dogs push them aside and can go in and out. (So not fenced in) LASTLY when I asked them what the owner said regarding compensation they stated they can only reimburse me $470 which is ONE nights stay. We had cockroaches and an infestation of ants because none of the windows or doors seal. I went back and looked at the photos online that I looked at before renting the house. THEY WERE ALMOST UNRECOGNIZABLE ! It seems they used photos from years ago when someone actually took care of the house and still promoted the house as being updated 2024. Will never use ACCESS REALTY AGAIN OR STAY HERE!!!

    When I tell you, this is the absolute worst company I fully mean it. I have dealt with Marcelo for…read morethe last year. For reference if you don't know, Cedar Ridge manages properties for owners they draw the contracts the owner signs it, and so does the renter I rented a property in Hampstead, North Carolina and it has been hell for a year straight. First of all the property has a big garage with an attached carport. They don't put it in the lease that you can't use the garage, but they keep it locked and tell you that it is in the advertisement that you can't use it, but you have to pay for the electric that's getting used inside of that building but they expect you to keep your stuff on the carport or whenever they feel that they want to bring people out onto the property they make you put your stuff from the carport onto the ground and don't care if it gets ruined. And then there's a gentleman that lives down the road that is friends with the owner who peeps in your windows apparently he's supposed to come on the property and do the salt for the owner, but you are never told when he comes on the property. He goes through all of your stuff, and he has been caught looking in my windows and in my children's windows by multiple people, and when you report this to cedar ridge, they pretend like they don't know who he is even though they do. Then there's the harassment about animals. There are several stray cats on that road and they put a small clause on your lease that states that if any animals stray or not come on the property and they find out about it, they can charge you $500 for an unauthorized animal which they have done multiple times to me for stray animals. Not to mention, I have a service animal, and I handed them all of the paperwork all of the certifications everything they asked for, and they still tried to charge me multiple times and called me every month harassing me trying to charge me for my service animal. Or how about when I first moved in and I had propped my screen door open so that I can move things in and out and that so-called friend of the owner drove by and called Cedar Ridge and they called me telling me I have to keep my door closed. I'm not allowed to keep it open because it may damage their door. I mean if I Break it then I pay for it, but I have not done anything to harm any part of that property. It's still in mint condition. Oh you also have this creepy lady with the scraggly dog that walks by every single day multiple times a day and she takes pictures of your property like as blatantly as possible pulls out her phone as she's walking past your property and start snapping pictures I would stay as far away from Cedar Ridge or any of the properties that they manage as you can because otherwise you're being overcharged and harassed non stop. Honestly, there's a few other things I could put into light on here, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna run out of room. Actually, there is one more thing real quick before our lease ever even ended. They came and tried to put a lockbox on the property without any kind of notification locking us out from getting the rest of our stuff off the property and then trying to charge us for it. And out of $3000 they are only giving us $150 for the deposit stating to repaint ( which didn't need it ) was $1800 and they charged me $400 for cleaning fee and $200 for other stuff I'll post pictures of what it looked like when we moved out

    This company does not prioritize the mental, physical, or emotional well-being of their…read moreunproblematic tenants but will cater to the tenant causing the most disruption/chaos. My partner has been threatened by his neighbor, has had his property moved, has had his guest's vehicles blocked in in his own driveway, has had his driveway commandeered by the neighbor with little to no intervention from the management company. Not only that, but this management company neglected to inform my partner (in any capacity) that he was paying for the water, sewer, and trash of the unit behind his. This is a contractual violation and is grounds for a law suit. Per NC tenant laws, my partner could sue for ALL monies paid towards this home/lease agreement as the lease agreement is invalid due to the management company and owner. On top of all of this, the management company failed to change the locks to the home. Guess who has a copy of the keys to the home? That's right -- the neighbor. My partner doesn't feel safe to live in his own home, but he's paying 1700/month (an INCREASE to what he was previously paying) to rent there month-to-month while he looks for something new. If anything, my partner shouldn't be paying anything while the next door neighbor is still allowed to terrorize/intimidate him. The home has simply become an outrageously expensive storage unit. Somehow, WE have been told to minimize the drama to accommodate the lack of intervention from this company and a neighbor who thinks his age allows him to behave any way he chooses. Unacceptable. Do not rent or work with this company. Do not rent 2048 Jefferson St., Wilmington, NC 28401.
