I recently had a very stressful emergency at the restaurant I manage, we needed a new water heater and during the installation we came across a electrical problem. We only had a few hours to get it fixed before the restaurant opened.....I called Swift Electric and spoke with John, we explained our situation (praying that we would not be taken advantage of given that we had to get it taken care of and quickly). John was at the restaurant within the hour, he explained exactly what needed to be done and took care of it well before we opened. His price was more than fair, and everything worked great. After he left we had a few questions regarding what he did because the water was still not hot after several hours, we left a message with him. John called us back after he was done for the day (off work) on his own time and went over everything with us again. He was very patient with us in explaining (since we are not electricians and don't fully understand how it all works), he even offered to come back on his day off to show us in person....turns out none of that was needed. The problem had nothing to do with the electric it was the water heater its self, John was honest, quick and more than fair with his price. John really saved the day for us! We were pressed and needed an electrian to come immediately since the drywall was about to go up! He came over right away and did the job that needed attention and then came back to follow up with the final work. Then after our handyman screwed up all the wiring, John stepped in again and saved us again. We could have had an electrial fire from what the handyman did! Lesson learned. Very courteous. I had a problem with some of my outlets in a bedroom. Initially during my first phone call, a nice gentleman spent a lot of time trying to troubleshoot and walk me through the problem. When that failed, I had an electrician here the next day. Being in a rental house, I didn't know there were 2 breaker panels. Needless to say, this ended being an embarrassingly easy issue to fix. Have you ever received a quote that was competitive and then the vendor actually charges you less? John was GREAT - very reasonable in price and SUPER professional! I didn't catch the other gentleman's name but they hung both our fans in about 90 minutes (assembly straight out of the box and gave us some additional advice). I received 2 other quotes - one for $250 and one for $90/hour but a 5 hours minimum! He quoted us $225 but ended up getting them done quickly and saving us $75. Our house was wired for fan speed adjusters (which I didn't know) and he showed me what to get, ran to Home Depot and got them and he installed them (which is wonderful for us). But also, they were so nice and professional. He came to our home on time but right as my baby fell asleep. He was so polite and he tried to be quiet and whisper when talking to us as to not wake her - seriously? No one that comes to our home is that respectful. They were great.
