As I was shopping around for quotes, I was pretty certain I'd need a new panel to handle the constant load of EV charging. I was already prepared to make the costly upgrade, but I wanted to see what other electricians recommended. The panel in my home was likely the original from the 1970's, which isn't rated or safe to handle today's EVs. Vince - the gentleman who provided the estimate - read my mind and also agreed that a panel upgrade would be the right way to do the job. Infinity Electric were the first and only company to recommend the electrical panel upgrade. The fact that they put safety and doing it right over trying to make a quick buck went a long way with me. This is gesture is what sealed the deal for me and confirmed that these guys are professionals. After we did the spot meter with SCE, Infinity Electric took care of all of the permitting with the city, scheduling, ordering materials, upgrading the panel, installing my EV charger in my garage and hauling away my old panel. The crew that did the install worked efficiently, cut no corners and were surprisingly tidy. Considering my panel is on the complete opposite side of the home, they were constantly going in and out of the attic crawl space to run the conduit and wiring. Construction is a messy business, but these guys made sure to leave my home exactly how they found it. All in all, my experience with Infinity Electric was phenomenal. I get the quote finally. It's ~$30k more than another quote I got from a 5 star Yelp business. WTH. Looking deeper into the quote, it's talking about terracota tile and grout...we never spoke about that, we spoke what I already have downstairs, which is laminate. They even stated, that's a manufactured piece we can't get anymore but we can get something close to match. Don't always believe Yelp reviews, but I'd believe this one.

But when we needed to change out an old bathroom vanity for a new one, we knew we had to get serious about it. And if you hire a plumber to do the work, which DOES involve some plumbing, then it costs way more. I resigned myself to the search and literally just contacted the most popular handyman service in my town based on Yelp reviews. Guess what? thank goodness I did! 805's Handyman (NOT to be confused with "805 Handyman") responded right away--even though it was a Sunday and the World Cup games were on. I uploaded pics, sent in the details, got an estimate, and made an appointment. On the day of, a nice truck drove up with the logo painted proudly on the side (not a guy in a fancy sports car, like handyman #9). Two sturdy guys came in and got down to business right away--no fuss, all smiles, and dare I say it? Like they loved what they do. (Unlike handyman #7 who was a former engineer and complained the whole time, even refusing to do some tasks!) Long story shorter, the bathroom vanity switcheroo turned out to be bigger and messier project than expected. It ended up involving some retiling, grouting, electrical adjustments, alterations to trim, painting--and the plumbing bits and installation and removal. The workers were quiet, helpful, communicated the whole time and were just generally old-school excellent (unlike handyman #4, who was nice, but got everything crooked and a bit wonky, bless his heart). The 805's Handyman workers did ALL the plumbing/installing/electrical/tile work/painting--the whole shebang. And the end result is a sweet transformation for our upstairs bath (I also asked them to take care of a few more items on my to-do list, which they did quickly and again, with smiles). The whole thing was very gratifying. So much so, that the next time something in our house needs fixing, I will actually look forward to hiring 805's Handyman again. We're lucky to have them in the Ventura area and they are popular on Yelp for very good reasons.

It powered 4 rooms that included all electronics, my medical equipment, spa, sprinkler controller plus the garage, 2 fridge's and a separate freezer. WOW! Dani responded to me within minutes and was very responsive to all my questions and asked the right questions for the job. We booked a time for later in the week, but I told him to let me know if there is any earlier slots that open up. He was able to send someone out within 24 hours of my request since I said I needed the work done ASAP. Very reasonable price and work took less than 2 hours. Andy came to our home and did a wonderful job. Going into the crawl space is no fun but he was professional and had a good attitude about it. Would highly recommend!

Although other people were giving other recommendations on a platform I had inquired on, we are thrilled that we went with the recommendation of Fernando. He is professional, polite, and personable given that he was in our home with us for several hours to complete a long list of things that we needed done. He started on one day and when we saw the expertise and the honesty that he was providing, we started adding more things that we wanted done because we trusted him implicitly so he came back for us the following weekend the only time that we are at this particular property. For the work that we needed done his price was very fair. We will gladly use him again for other projects in the future. We already told him we will be contacting him again in a few months when we decide when we will also be putting in an EV charger in the garage. And again he is tremendous in his honesty, his professionalism, his expertise, and his very easy-going and pleasant personality. For some reason my review was deleted. They revamped my control panel for my home. We had a Tesla…read morecharger installed (by him). He was honest, straight forward and we related on our childhoods. He helped me understand the process, showed me regulations and why they are important to follow. He showed me step by step what he was doing. He didn't have to but I am just a curious individual. His office admin communicated regularly and professional. If they didn't have time to make my appointment they would call me before. I understand electrical is hard work and if was running late and couldn't make it, that's ok. They communicated. He even got into my attic, which is not very mug and he is over 6ft. If they had to reschedule I was always out on the list first thing for the next day. I still have all the regulations and paperwork he provided me with just incase another electron is hired if he doesn't not have time and their schedule is being booked a couple months in advance. He also fixed wrong and dangerous wiring another electrical company did. They are an excellent business to work with, people don't understand business. Other projects will take priority and that's ok. Dont call and harass the admin she is very respectful and does not deserve that kind of treatment.
