The owner, Billy, came with the 2 workers at 8 am, assessed the situation and gave us a quote which was considerably less than another quote we were given and the quote included completely rewiring and bringing it to code. Billy came by later that day to inspect the job. The two workers were great. The job took all day. I work from home and I hardly noticed them in the back yard doing the work. Ordering lighting online can be tricky if you haven't seen it in person and having to return a light fixture by shipping it is a hassle. It's comforting to know that anything I order from Lamps Plus can be returned directly to their store in the rare case I need to return something. Lamps Plus cares about their customers .

They didn't close for another 20 minutes. Safe to say I will never be back, especially because they are not open on weekends. How is the general public supposed to be able to go and see anything in a storefront if they are only open from 7am to 4:30 pm daily? A combination of the dismissive, rude, and unprofessional staff and the business hours make this establishment a no-go for me, and anyone who asks for my advice about lighting stores in the future. Anybody would be better off shopping at Lowe's or Home Depot.

As I was shopping around for quotes, I was pretty certain I'd need a new panel to handle the constant load of EV charging. I was already prepared to make the costly upgrade, but I wanted to see what other electricians recommended. The panel in my home was likely the original from the 1970's, which isn't rated or safe to handle today's EVs. Vince - the gentleman who provided the estimate - read my mind and also agreed that a panel upgrade would be the right way to do the job. Infinity Electric were the first and only company to recommend the electrical panel upgrade. The fact that they put safety and doing it right over trying to make a quick buck went a long way with me. This is gesture is what sealed the deal for me and confirmed that these guys are professionals. After we did the spot meter with SCE, Infinity Electric took care of all of the permitting with the city, scheduling, ordering materials, upgrading the panel, installing my EV charger in my garage and hauling away my old panel. The crew that did the install worked efficiently, cut no corners and were surprisingly tidy. Considering my panel is on the complete opposite side of the home, they were constantly going in and out of the attic crawl space to run the conduit and wiring. Construction is a messy business, but these guys made sure to leave my home exactly how they found it. All in all, my experience with Infinity Electric was phenomenal. I was a little frustrated and it took a little bit to get the right person on the phone, but I'm really happy to know that they are the same company from 11 years ago. They went above and beyond to take care of the problem. I've heard nightmare stories about other companies in the area that will install something and if there is a problem, you are on your own. I see a 1-star review from someone who was frustrated with lack of customer service. I was frustrated with this too. The AI phone interface can be frustrating, but there are good people working there who are trying to do the right thing. It just might take a little bit of patience to get the right person on the other end of the phone. I do know that they are addressing this problem. Julian is my plumber and Sam is my HVAC guy and when they come to the house it's like having old friends visit. At the end of the day, that's what keeps me coming back to them. The work is solid, the technicians are knowledgeable, and when something does come up they stand behind what they do. Eleven years later, that still says a lot about the kind of company they are. I have no hesitation to call them for some of the bigger upcoming purchases that our household needs, like a new AC unit and a tankless water heater. Great sales tactics on their end if you are evaluating them from a business standpoint. Lots of AI interface and lack of personal human approach to business. I had an issue with my furnace. They came out and diagnosed it, and did the repair that day. Days later when I went to use it, same issue. They came back out and diagnosed two other issues, no mention of why we don't think that those things weren't present the first visit. So I paid for first and second visit. I think I should have been refunded the first visit since clearly that service didn't fix the job. Oh and the best is they already started trying to up sell me a whole new system...they installed mine 10 years ago. They were better 10 years ago.

I get the quote finally. It's ~$30k more than another quote I got from a 5 star Yelp business. WTH. Looking deeper into the quote, it's talking about terracota tile and grout...we never spoke about that, we spoke what I already have downstairs, which is laminate. They even stated, that's a manufactured piece we can't get anymore but we can get something close to match. Don't always believe Yelp reviews, but I'd believe this one.

A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. It was all a seamless and easy process. Jerry was also quick and efficient which was another bonus. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved. Given what a quick fix it was and that he was already out to help with other plumbing issues, he didn't charge me for the toilet fix. Little things like that go a long way because any other plumber would've likely charged me just for even touching it/assessing it. That shows me that they care about their long-term business and customers, so they aren't out to make a quick buck. Was on a trip and received a call from my mom's caregiver that the electricity went out at my mom's house - turned back on - but one room was no longer receiving A/C. The caregiver called SCE to come out and investigate - they tested the lines - turned on & off the breakers - then told my mom's caregiver to call an electrician. So searching online - I came across Elite Electrical and since Yelp reviews were good - I contacted Jason. Jason responded in less than an hour, took a look around the house, and found that a GFC button had tripped - he hit the button - the room was back on again! Best thing of all - Jason didn't even charge my mom for the visit! A hundred stars to Elite Electrical as this room also had the router in it that controls Internet and TV. If they didn't have time to make my appointment they would call me before. I understand electrical is hard work and if was running late and couldn't make it, that's ok. They communicated. He even got into my attic, which is not very mug and he is over 6ft. If they had to reschedule I was always out on the list first thing for the next day. I still have all the regulations and paperwork he provided me with just incase another electron is hired if he doesn't not have time and their schedule is being booked a couple months in advance. He also fixed wrong and dangerous wiring another electrical company did. They are an excellent business to work with, people don't understand business. Other projects will take priority and that's ok. Dont call and harass the admin she is very respectful and does not deserve that kind of treatment.

We're a 2 EV household, so safe and consistent charging were my biggest concerns. As I was shopping around for quotes, I was pretty certain I'd need a new panel to handle the constant load of EV charging. I was already prepared to make the costly upgrade, but I wanted to see what other electricians recommended. The panel in my home was likely the original from the 1970's, which isn't rated or safe to handle today's EVs. Vince - the gentleman who provided the estimate - read my mind and also agreed that a panel upgrade would be the right way to do the job. Infinity Electric were the first and only company to recommend the electrical panel upgrade. The fact that they put safety and doing it right over trying to make a quick buck went a long way with me. This is gesture is what sealed the deal for me and confirmed that these guys are professionals. After we did the spot meter with SCE, Infinity Electric took care of all of the permitting with the city, scheduling, ordering materials, upgrading the panel, installing my EV charger in my garage and hauling away my old panel. The crew that did the install worked efficiently, cut no corners and were surprisingly tidy. Considering my panel is on the complete opposite side of the home, they were constantly going in and out of the attic crawl space to run the conduit and wiring. Construction is a messy business, but these guys made sure to leave my home exactly how they found it. All in all, my experience with Infinity Electric was phenomenal. They kept me updated about my appointment, right up to the day of the work when they notified me that Robert could come early. That worked fine for me. Robert was at my house as agreed and he looked at my problem, told me what he suggested doing and how much it would cost. It was very reasonable and I agreed on the spot. After getting needed supplies he had it fixed in no time and I have my lovely piece of furniture in working order again! Robert is a terrific person, friendly and professional. But when we needed to change out an old bathroom vanity for a new one, we knew we had to get serious about it. And if you hire a plumber to do the work, which DOES involve some plumbing, then it costs way more. I resigned myself to the search and literally just contacted the most popular handyman service in my town based on Yelp reviews. Guess what? thank goodness I did! 805's Handyman (NOT to be confused with "805 Handyman") responded right away--even though it was a Sunday and the World Cup games were on. I uploaded pics, sent in the details, got an estimate, and made an appointment. On the day of, a nice truck drove up with the logo painted proudly on the side (not a guy in a fancy sports car, like handyman #9). Two sturdy guys came in and got down to business right away--no fuss, all smiles, and dare I say it? Like they loved what they do. (Unlike handyman #7 who was a former engineer and complained the whole time, even refusing to do some tasks!) Long story shorter, the bathroom vanity switcheroo turned out to be bigger and messier project than expected. It ended up involving some retiling, grouting, electrical adjustments, alterations to trim, painting--and the plumbing bits and installation and removal. The workers were quiet, helpful, communicated the whole time and were just generally old-school excellent (unlike handyman #4, who was nice, but got everything crooked and a bit wonky, bless his heart). The 805's Handyman workers did ALL the plumbing/installing/electrical/tile work/painting--the whole shebang. And the end result is a sweet transformation for our upstairs bath (I also asked them to take care of a few more items on my to-do list, which they did quickly and again, with smiles). The whole thing was very gratifying. So much so, that the next time something in our house needs fixing, I will actually look forward to hiring 805's Handyman again. We're lucky to have them in the Ventura area and they are popular on Yelp for very good reasons.

I communicated with them through yelp and then we took to contact by phone/text. They were super communicative and prompt on setting up a date for repairs. They worked around my schedule which was appreciated and followed through without issue. I had them work on an outdoor electrical/lighting fixtures and Patrick did it with ease. He came with all his supplies and was prepared, he swapped out my old, ugly lighting fixtures and put in the new ones no issue. He was careful but prompt with getting this task complete. Very nice guy and someone you could trust and who did a honest thorough job. Aside from doing great work and being professional, the price point was also very reasonable compared to ten other quotes I got (yes, I do my research). They are affordable, professional and most importantly they did a great job. Even my neighbors watching from the outside were impressed and came over to take some business cards. I know I'll be locking them in for some more appointments and repairs in the near future. Great work and happy to have a trustworthy handyman in the area.
