In desperation I began calling all local locksmiths who advertised automotive. I do want to say that most were operating a limited staff because of the Covid thing, so maybe they were just covered up. The first who called back said it would be over a week before they could come out. Too long, next? Then Chue called from Locksmith Disciples and said "yes, I can do it at the vehicle. " Music to my ears. That was about 1PM, and Chue said he would meet me about 7PM. Good enough for me! I met Chue, who is a young, hard working family guy making his way through life. A great attitude and I enjoyed meeting him. Chue is the guy you want to call - period!!! PS. While Chue was repairing my car, I did receive a call from Quick Key, about 6 hours after I called them. He then called my phone from our driveway asking me to give him a 5 star rating on Google. I said I'd do it but he apparently wanted to watch to ensure I did it right. He made sure I filled out the Google review exactly to his satisfaction telling me the answers to their questions and made sure I clicked 5 stars lol. He only accepted payment via Venmo, which is much harder to dispute than a credit card. We also never received a proper invoice or a breakdown of charges -- just a vague text message. When we questioned the extra charges, he claimed via text that he had refunded the overage, but we never received the money and he stopped responding. We regret doing business with him and strongly advise others to proceed with caution. Lack of transparency, poor communication, and deceptive practices are major red flags.
