First off, I wish California gas stations were like this. We went to one of the smaller Buc-ee's, but their selection of gas station snacks were still amazing! Additionally, I loved how their fountain soda was SO cheap! It's very true that everything is bigger in Texas. Highly recommend Buc-ee's for a fun place to stop if you're a tourist! I also like their hand dipped peppermint snaps. They have little pieces of peppermint candy and white chocolate, They're perfect. I did not like the whoopie pie with peppermint, though. Definitely pass on those. Another reason I love this place is because of coffee! They have dark roast, house blend, pecan blend! And decaf, I don't even know why decaf exists, but they have it just in case people actually drink it. They also have cappuccino machines which Mexican hot chocolate, which is my favorite! I walked inside only to be told that their only restroom was outside connected to their car wash. It was filthy. Toilet was FULL . Thank God for strong quads, ladies you know what I mean. My feet stuck to the floor with each step & they do not even bother with soap in here. The water barely came out of the faucet so thankfully I carry hand sanitizer & wipes. When my husband was pumping gas, a gargantuan man approached him asking for money. Moral of the story. Unless you are running on fumes... avoid this gas station. It's definitely the LAST place you want to get gas at night when it's not even safe or decent to use during the day. You may get more than you bargained for & you might not leave here with everything you arrived with. This station appears to be well maintained and more competitive that stations closer to Hobby. If there are any negatives in regards to fueling here while traveling to the airport it's the entrance which is on the opposite side of the boulevard and a U-turn is required to access it and exiting requires you to transverse a normally busy two lane road. I didn't interact with any of the employees here but it was a pretty busy place during my visit so it seems they have a loyal clientele...
