The coffee was okay. The kolache and croissant weren't bad. The wait was unusually long and interaction with staff was pretty awkward. It took 20 minutes for 3 drinks to come out and another 10 to watch the food I ordered sit on the counter after I asked twice about it. Definitely unnecessary. And there are huge potholes in the parking lot. Not a good experience for me but the place had enough people inside hanging out.

Great place to work, meet with friends or just relax especially in the mornings. It is also pet friendly on the patio area. Great staff who can customize drinks for you or make recommendations on what to order. They also offer small and regular tasty pastries that dissappear fast. I met with our notary here to sell our home. Met with some church volunteers. They also enjoyed this place. I also do some regular work during the day

High quality coffee and individuals making it. Love the vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating. I am so happy to have PCR here. Go!

Coconut Horchata Latte.

Was a cute little spot.. I only had a Coconut Horchata Latte (She was a THICK girl!) the flavor was good just didn't care for the consistency of it. I also grabbed a croissant with a spicy sausage and cheese inside, that was pretty good. Service was great! I would have to visit and try something else.

How cute are these useable coffee stoppers?!

I love the coffee here, I've never had a cup that I didn't like. I especially enjoy their Vietnamese iced coffee which gives me the perfect kick I need to start my day! The service is always nice & recommend very tasty drinks, and serves your drink rather quickly. The shop is very cute with lots of seating & outlets for workspace. It is definitely a bit loud for a coffee shop, but not unbearable. Today I tried the Bacon & Egg breakfast burrito & I was a bit overwhelmed with the ratio of egg to bacon. There was definitely more egg than bacon unfortunately, but still tasty & comes with a mild salsa that adds a little kick! Overall I love this place, haven't visited the other location but will be soon.

I love stopping by this place whenever I'm in the area. The coffee is smooth and tastes great. Although I haven't tried any of the food items, they were selling quickly when I was in line last time. The shop is cute, but I haven't had the chance to enjoy my coffee inside yet. The baristas are friendly and seem to enjoy working there.

Drive thru - love that the prices include tax!!!

All time fav coffee shop. Homemade syrups, comparable prices , beautiful new building.

This was my first time going that deep into Pearland and this coffee shop is a gem. There's not a lot of parking or tables, but the drinks was quite flavorful. I got the magnolia which is a coffee milk tea. It was light and not too sweet and definitely kept me caffeinated. There were charging ports against the wall. The noise level fluctuated so it's a great place to talk to people or just work/study. I didn't try any foods here but their display pastries look yummy. The drink came out quickly. I would come back here to study.

SouthDown -- I like that this place makes its own syrups. :)

We are happy to see this new coffee shop opened nearby. This morning we used the drive thru to get our morning coffee because we are out of creamer at home. Lol! I ordered the large hot SouthDown, one of their featured drinks. It was tasty but hard to describe. I'd definitely order it again, but... it was lukewarm warm. :/ We told the lady who took our order that it was our first time at their place. I wish she'd been more helpful with suggestions and more high energy about our patronage. When at the window she handed us the device that asks for a tip, something I hate! I am a generous tipper when served but resent being asked to tip in situations like this. I'd rather the owner properly pay the workers and adjust pricing accordingly. We'll be back to try again. Early lack luster experiences with new places are often due to newness. So... 4 stars gives the benefit of the doubt and it meant to encourage improvements.

Cute little spot and love the decor. I'm a black coffee drinker so it's sometimes difficult to find good plain coffee. Their cold brew here was so smooth and did not have all the typical acidity you'd see with mediocre cold brews. Now only if I can find a similar spot in California. I enjoy the fact that they have breakfast tacos

Mili H.

Incredible coffee, friendly staff, peaceful spot to hang out and/or work. Highly recommend this local business!

Old townsite latte

Amazing customer service and drinks always. Prices are definitely better than bigger coffee shops. Chill vibes with calming music making it perfect for studying or meeting with friends! I've been going since well before COVID and remember them brining our drinks to our cars during covid, they always go the extra mile.

Came here after church with my bestie! Been wanting to try this place since I moved to Pearland , very local hole in the wall feel! Tiny parking lot with no spots left this Sunday morning but I found my way in thankfully! I got the golden pear iced with almond milk it is perfect! Everything I want in an iced coffee! I also got the goat cheese croissant warmed phenomenal I wish I got 10 more! The guy at the cashier was helpfully picking a drink as well!

Initially placed an order for Iced Adeni, then when I understood that it was pre- made, I changed my order to the Latte. They add some spice called Haraz spice. It was really nice. Different from any coffee I have ever tried before. Haraz is slowly becoming my fav stopover. We ordered one Turkish and one Saudi and took a seat. Also, ordered a Bee Bite. Shortly after ordering, we were told the Saudi takes about 15 minutes to prepare. We said we'll try next time and ordered a second cup of Turkish which has two sugars mixed in. Very strong coffee as I remember from our travels in Turkey. Ended up being sweet for us and next time we would order either one or no sugar. Now the Bee bites, oh the bites. Remember having breads, pastries filled with cheese in Turkey and Greece and this was very similar. Topped with Sesame and Black seeds with pieces of cream cheese inside-comes with honey and we put just a little bit as this bread stands on its own. delicious and crave worthy! 2nd visit we picked up some of their milk cake slices-Biscoff (grabbed the last one), Pistachio and Chocolate-all tasty and were enjoyed. Service was friendly and engaged. Excellent coffee and house made desserts/pastries. Don't miss the Bee bites!

I have been looking for same white mocha and had yet to find it in over 10 years! Then Hando popped up across from my brother in-laws place. I was in absolute heaven when I tried their white mocha cookie frap. I require one everytime I visit manvel/Pearland. Staff has been so nice. No complaints here. There is a drive through where you do order and pay at the window. Hubs is a fan of their cold brew and lattes. I would say decently strong coffee. Havent tried their food options as i just run of coffee. I appreciate the hours of operations opening early enough so we can swing by to pick up coffee on the way to work! I just wanted to rave about their White Mocha Cookie frap. Highly recommend this you dont know what to try for any first timers.

I went through the drive thru since I had my dog with me. They do have plenty of parking tho. The drive thru was very convenient. The artwork along the drive thru menu is nice. It adds a great personalized and distinguishable touch to their establishment. The menu has tons of yummy unique sounding concoctions. Since I'm back to lowering my A1C like I'm on a GLP1 commercial, after totally wildin' and eating whatever the heck I wanted over the holidays, I just stuck with my usual Americano with a heavy cream splash and SF Vanilla. It was tasty and didnt taste at all watered down which is always my fear with ordering an Americano at a place new to me. The service was cool. I've got this place starred as a reliable Americano spot and look forward to supporting this exceptional black-owned business again!

We can literally sit there for hours talking while our youngest plays in the play area. The lattes are really good, and my daughter loves the hot chocolate. The pastries and treats are a little hit or miss. The almond croissant is definitely the winner and probably my favorite thing we've tried. My middle daughter really likes the brownie. She did say she thinks there may be cinnamon or something else added to the chocolate muffin because there was a flavor in it that threw her off a little. The pecan cinnamon roll was pretty good. The blueberry scone, though, tasted like it had maybe been frozen too long? I'm not completely sure, but there was just something about the taste and texture that was a little off. The savory items are good, but I do think they need to work on reheating them. The chorizo empanada had really good flavor, but the outside dough was still soggy because it wasn't heated long enough. It needed more time to crisp up. The same thing happened with the ham and cheese croissant. The bottom was very soggy, and it was only slightly warm throughout. One thing I really hope First Cup considers adding is nutritional information for their menu items. On our last visit, my 15 year old son came with us and wanted to try some things. He has Type 1 Diabetes, and having nutritional information, especially carbohydrate counts, is extremely important because we have to calculate his insulin based on what he eats. The staff did not have this information available or know where to find it. I know nutritional information is not required for every business, but for families like ours, it's not just a preference. Managing Type 1 Diabetes means constantly making calculations to keep my son safe. Without accurate information, we are left guessing, and guessing with insulin can mean his blood sugar goes too high or too low. As a mom, it's hard enough managing all of the daily decisions that come with T1D. My son should be able to go out with his family, try new foods, and enjoy a normal experience without us having to wonder if we are making the right choice for his health. Having this information available would make a huge difference, not only for people with diabetes but also for customers with allergies or other dietary needs. Even with these concerns, we really do love the feel of First Cup. It's a welcoming place with a great atmosphere, and we will continue coming back. I just hope they consider improving the reheating process and adding nutritional information because those changes would make an already great place even better.

To begin with, they have free parking which is always a plus. As soon as we walked in, I knew we were in for a treat. The place is so cute and nicely decorated with pink all over which is my favorite color! We started off with the spice tea which was delicious and then we were given a menu to choose other hot or iced teas to try. You can choose as many as you like and my favorite was definitely the raspberry iced tea. The food...so much food! First, the cups of salad: choice of broccoli salad, pasta salad, fruit salad or garden salad (I went with broccoli and loved it) Second, the bowl of soup: choices include tomato basil, broccoli cheese and chicken tortilla which is the one I ordered Third, the finger sandwiches! You get an array of options including cranberry walnut chicken salad, pimento cheese and cucumber. You can also ask for seconds! For the mini desserts they have a nice variety including brownies, pecan bars, carrot cake and macarons. The best part? The price! Our High Tea Experience was $38++ and worth every penny! Lastly, the service was SPECTACULAR! Everyone was so kind, attentive and friendly. Needless to say, I will be back!

When your Auntie puts you on game! This place rocks and let me tell you why…read more I've seen BRCB so many times speeding down Broadway but I never stopped by, but Auntie gave out gifts cards for her annual MLK brunch and I received one for BRCB. Growing up with Folgers and Maxwell, the only special touches to coffee was creamer, but the coffee of today is so sophisticated. The flavors and concotions you'll experience is just amazing to me and my first time trying BRCB made me want to come back real soon. First off, I maximized my 1st visit by signing up for the reward club and surprisingly, I received a free medium beverage. I also ordered a sausage egg and cheese burrito to go with my drink. I had the fortunate luck to order the Jackhammer: Vanilla mocha with an extra double shot. I ordered pick up because I went by the weekend of that Winter Storm when the city was about to shutdown. Before I made it to the store I had put in ana advance order based on the estimate Discount Tire gave me for my service. I got out like 30 minutes early, which normally never happpens, so I drove to the store and prepared to show my order to hopefuly have my order made prior to the scheduled time. There was no issue at all with this request as I told the crew member my name and in less than five minutes despite having a steady flow of drive thru customers, I was out the door into the frigid cold but warm and highly caffenated from my drink! They even heated my burrito for me which I did ask to be heated in the online order, but it was hot like it had been just made not heated. The burrito was tasty but could have had more visible meat inside of it. Nevetheless it paired well with the cofffe as both were nice poppin hot.
