Ms. Katie is the best instructor for my son. She goes above and beyond to help kids and she is a 10/10. We love her to pieces.

Erasmus Hall High School has a very nice campus. There have teachers to teach you how to swim .and there very patient (there have lockers and the area is very clean and safe ). located in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. I love the family time pass it's open to the public it's non-instructor class, you get chance to spend time with your family and Freind's in the pool I'll definitely be recommended it's first come first served ( bring your own lock to protect your personal things in the locker room) !!!!. very convenient by MTA transportation: subway: 2,5-Train.Church Avenue Train station. or Q, B-Train.Church Avenue Train station. But the pool has many…read moreissues, there are 3 lanes, fast lane, middle lane and slow lane when it comes to swimming but the rules don't get enforced, you constantly have little kids and old people in the fast lane just hogging it swimming like they're on vacation. This makes getting an intensive workout in difficult when it comes to the pool, they need to enforce the rules. If people constantly have to pass you in a lane, you don't belong in a fast lane. Second issue is the gymnasium, you barely have time to play your favorite sport. They will dedicate hours of time to useless sports like tennis, soccer, pickleball? It's very inconvenient and not worth it. One thing I did like is the Sauna, the Sauna I had no problems with, it was never full and it does its job.

I usually love to go to Coney Island beach during the summer months but unfortunately when the winter months are here i cant go to the beach because its cold , so i come here to the indoor pool during the cold winter months . Thanks to Christina K. for signing up my membership . every time I'm off from work i come here to relax in the gym or the pool , just get away from my problems to relax my mind .in the indoor pool area there a life guard on premises and there place upstairs for parents or guest to watch and sit down when there swimming lessons in sessions !!!! P.S. There have lot of Kids activities , like summer camp and after school camp . There affiliated with the YMCA. i was doing some research i never knew YMCA started in London, U.K. (lol I'm reading this comment on someone review about the y , name : Mike H. , he mentions he rather leave his kids with Michael Jackson instead of this place or let his kids play on the highway , lol . Brooklynites mouth have no filter lol smfh , perfect example judge Judy she don't sugar code sh*t lol she a true brooklynite ) Very Convenient by the mta transportation: Bus: B44,B36,B3 Subway: (If you take the b44 bus to Northern Williamsburg direction you can transfer catch the 2,5-Trains at the Flatbush Avenue ,Train station to Manhattan and The Bronx ! , Or the B3 bus to Avenue U , Train station. Q-Train line . personally i believe the B44 bus is much faster than the B3 bus to transfer to the subway !!!!).

This location is a complete mess. Even after following their policy to schedule my last session 30…read moredays in advance, they somehow changed my class time from 12:00 to 11:30 without telling me. I showed up at my usual time for three sessions and was told every time that I had "missed" class. No apology, no accountability -- just excuses. I really tried to overlook the cramped space, the tiny pool, and the even tinier bathroom, but this experience was the last straw. The way they handled their mistake was unprofessional and dismissive. The only good thing about this location is Griffin -- a fantastic instructor who is patient, encouraging, and genuinely cares about his students. Unfortunately, one great instructor can't make up for how poorly this place is run.

I will see how he is during our next lesson. Will update soon! Parking in the area is hit or miss but definitely a quiet area of Brooklyn. Bathrooms are spacious and comfortable There's no ramp for a strollers so come prepared Wish they would give me an overview of the day's lesson so parents know what to expect. Overall good 1st experience will report back soon.

As a current student, I feel it's important to share some concerns about the way this school treats…read moreits students. Recently, we received an email stating that students are not permitted to enter classrooms before the scheduled class time so that instructors can "prepare the learning environment." However, in reality, many professors arrive exactly at the start time or even after class is supposed to begin. Meanwhile, students are expected to stand in hallways or find somewhere else to go even when we arrive early after work to study. The only alternative spaces are the library or cafeteria, both of which have very limited seating. It feels unreasonable to pay out of pocket for an education and not even be allowed to sit in an empty classroom while waiting. We then received another email about elevator use, which is understandable for accessibility reasons. However, the message stated that misuse could result in parent/guardian contact. This is a school of adults, and many of us are parents ourselves. Including language like that clearly shows how little the administration thinks of its students and reinforces the feeling that we are treated like children rather than responsible adults paying for a professional education. Another major concern is the lack of respect and support from some faculty members. For example, Professor Jayne Kier is extremely unapproachable. Students feel uncomfortable asking questions because responses are often sarcastic, dismissive, or met with long, intimidating stares. There is little guidance provided, yet students are made to feel as though they are wrong for seeking help. This creates a stressful and discouraging learning environment. Lastly, it often feels like students cannot safely voice concerns. When issues are brought up to administration, they are dismissed as complaints rather than taken seriously even though many of us are committed, adult learners who care deeply about our education and future careers. It is incredibly disappointing to be treated this way as paying adult students. We invest our time, energy, and money into this program, yet we are treated as if we are receiving a free service and should simply accept it without question. The tone and treatment are not only disrespectful, they are humiliating.

I must say it was not always smooth sailing, but no place is perfect. My professors held me accountable for doing my part, they are smart, dedicated and approachable. I have put in the work that my professors set out for me, as every student should, and accomplished what I set out to do. See for yourself, and remember this is a school that is preparing you to have a professional career, think critically and make wise choices In life, if this is not your goal then, this is not the school for you. Nursing is a vocation, it's not a walk in the park. With self discipline, hard work and perseverance you can have your degree at St. Paul's School of Nursing In several months.
