So, in siesta key village it's the only good store providing visitors and residents on Siesta Key with what they want to enjoy the beautiful 8-mile beach and warm Gulf coast waters. From beach mats, flops and sandals, chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, and sunscreen to sunglasses and trendy surf shorts, this well-stocked shop has a great range of clothing and equipment to choose from. and coming to souvenirs - it has all the range. There are check out counters in each shop with the friendly staff to help with quick cash out. Prices are a little steep for clothing and swim. Toys are priced very reasonable! We snagged a few hats, sun shirt for Dad and toys for the kiddos. They have a little something for everyone. Name brands for those that care about that kind of thing.

I would have tried on multiple swimsuits but I was over listening to their conversation. Another group walked in and they instantly told them they were closing in 8 minutes. Listen I get it, you are closing, but come on. You are a tiny store with an average price of $100. If someone comes in and you MIGHT have to stay 5 minutes past closing one night be deal. It's just rude. It's a vacation town, it'a summer, I understand they don't have control over the stupid early time they close but you could also just help and be friendly to the customers you have. I won't go back in, disappointed the captiva store closed.

I have rarely found swimwear that checks all of these boxes, if any. When I first visited the store, I told one of the staff members, Stacy, what I was looking for. She started showing me options immediately after I told her my size and preferences. I came back the next day to try on clothes, where Stacy had set aside a stack of swimwear options that were aligned with what I said I was looking for. While I was trying on clothes, Stacy, and, I believe her name is Shelley, were the perfect staff members! I kept getting new options based on what I said I liked or didn't like. I also appreciated when the staff members gave me their own input when I asked for it. Felt like I was shopping with my sisters again haha I ended up buying a set that I wouldn't have even noticed if it hadn't been pulled out for me. Staff is sooo accommodating it felt like family! I would think that Saturday would be the busiest day every week for a business like this, but apparently May 3, 2025 was a day they decided not to be open. We we went and spent over $1100 at another place up by Siesta Key instead. Your loss was their gain.
