Had I known this I would have not purchased the package swim classes and would have just opted to purchase them one at a time last year . However, as of April 2025 it seems like their website no longer allows for you to purchase one session at a time anyway. From a customer service standpoint no one reached out to us to let me know that my credits would be expiring and that I should book a class soon. So that's a bit of a turn off and a bummer. We live in Hermosa so it's a good 20-25 min drive from our house to get there each time. I'm going to have to rethink whether or not we should continue with them or just look for a closer alternative at this point, given their expiration policy. Seems like such a waste of money. As for the instructor , my daughter has the best rapport with Carissa. All of their instructors are good though.

They only practiced blowing bubbles and lying on their backs while I held them, and this went on for months. My son has always had a fear of going under the water. He cried really hard the first day with Conrad, but Conrad was super calming, but also firm. By the second day, my son wasn't crying. Third day, he was smiling and willingly going under the water. Fourth day, he was asking to go swim with Conrad. Fifth day, he was jumping into the pool and able to hold his breath for a while and hang on the side of the pool with the other kids. Conrad's methods are effective and his lessons are worth every dollar. I signed up for one more session, and I'm confident my kids will be swimming by the end of it. He is communicative, arrives on time, is a wealth of water safety/instructional knowledge, and just a lovely human. Sunsational has checked in along the way in a supportive, not overbearing way. They took ownership over the short falls and informed me of the steps they have taken to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else.
